Whenever I try to log in to iTunes, I keep getting the error: "The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

This has been occuring for over a month, now, and iTunes is still unavailable. I have the latest version, my internet connection is perfectly fine, I have no firewall up, the date and time are correct, and I'm getting extremely frustrated with this. The app store has me logged in, but the iTunes store, on the other hand, keeps giving me the same error message over and over again.

Hi FantasyAcquired,

    Update on my previous post.
iTunes showed I was logged in, displaying my Apple ID on the screen (left bar where it normally is) but I couldn't access my account, with the same error message coming up again!  (seriously this is total BS)
    I deleted EVERYTHING under
    C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
    or YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
Some people have had success only deleting everything in the cookies folder
    C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\Cookies

  • The Itunes store is temporarily unavailable please try again soon.

Yesterday I downloaded Itunes onto my family's computer (Windows 8) I have been having problems signing into my account. I can go onto the Itunes store and look around, listen to sample tracks etc.
This keeps popping up - We could not complete your Itunes request. The Itunes store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
Well I did and still nothing. I checked to make sure my Apple ID is working (it is)
Is there anyone who can help me figure this out?

  • Itunes store is temporarily unavailable - please check back later

    Hi All,
Can't connect to iTunes store - "iTunes store is temporarily unavailable" - unable to update any of my IOS device apps - iPad2, iPhone4, iPod Touch. Any ideas? Anyone else going through this?

    Same problem for me.
But the problem exists only for my AppleID which is linked to all my Apps.
When I create a new AppleID, my problem is gone.
The same problem I have when I try to authorize my Mac.
With a new AppleID I've no problem, but with my active AppleID I get an error (iTunes Store temporarily unaviable).

  • For some reason over the past two weeks any time I tried to download an app from iTunes I keep getting an error message which says "unable to be downloaded try again later.

Hello, Over the last few weeks I have been unable to download any new applications to my iPhone five. Every time it pops up with an error message that says "cannot download at this time try again later." I don't know if I have accidentally reset something differently or just what the problem is. We had to get bank cards as a result of the "target" security breach, however our bank shows that iTunes has "pinged" our account so I know that that part of it is working. I do not understand how the cloud where perhaps it has something to do with a conflict there.
I am bordering on the edge of real frustration can anyone please help? Kenny V.

    Hi, Kenny.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
There are a couple things that I would recommend trying.  Try closing all open applications and power cycle the device.  Next, go through the section labeled Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in the second article below.  If the issue persists, try completely signing out of the iTunes Store on the iOS device and sign back in.  Be sure to test downloading an application after each step.

  • Keep getting an error has occur while trying to install, please try agian

I am installing tiger through an external DVD drive. I have installed tiger on one of my comp. using an external drive before but I'm trying to install it on a different comp. but everytime it is preparing to install it stops. Then it says that an error occur and to please try again. I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestion??

I'd love to help, but without knowing more I can't hope to know what to do. There should be an install log located here:
    /var/log/install.log
Can you open that and scroll to the end and see if you can find an error?

  • TS1424 Its says iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.

It also says it when i try to buy something.

Turns out I had the same issue on WIndows (which I do not use a lot ...°.
Here is how I solved it on Windows 7:
    - Quit iTunes (and Safari if you have it)
    - Openan Explorer window ("My Computer" for example)
    - Well hidden in the upper bar under "Organize" choose "Folder and search options"
    - In the "view" tab, make sure that "Show hidden files, folders and drives" is checked and click OK
    - Navigate to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\Cookies or YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\Cookies if that is easier
    - Delete everything in that folder
    - (I am not sure this is necessary) you might want to also trash items in the YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Cookies folder
    - Launch iTunes
    - Connect to your iTunes account
    - Smile :-)

Try using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and delete the iTunes installer. Then try installing iTunes again

  • I cant get into itunes producer keep getting an error my username and password is incorrect. i have made a new one all good still same error any ideas?

I cant get into itunes producer keep getting an error my username and password is incorrect. i have made a new one all good still same error any ideas?

I'm having a very similar problem.
I'm based in the U.K. and am trying to publish an iBook through the iTunes bookstore. I have made my book in iBooks author 2.0. My iTunes is up to date.
When I try and publish the iBook I have passed and ticked the Pre Publish Check; and the Create Account, but when I try and download iTunes Producer through iTunes Connect I'm told "Your Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Content."
When I try and re-set my iTunes Store account I'm told "The iTunes Store Account has already applied to distribute content on the iBookstore." Of course it has I just did that.
If I try and sign in to iTunes Connect through the Publishing pane I'm told "Your ID or Password was entered incorrectly." Even though I've just used it to sign into iTunes (and here), so my password and Apple ID work fine elsewhere.
Is my access to the iTunes Connect being delayed while my submission is processed, i.e. the processing of my tax and account details? Or am I stuck in a loop?
If this is still processing (I started this 20 hours ago) I assume that I have to submit the book itself when I can download iTunes Producer at a later date, as I haven't submitted the book yet?
I emailed the problem to iTunes Store and was refered to [email protected], only for them to say they don't read or reply to emails sent to that address??????
I'm not sure which part of the process I've reached - if any. I feel I'm in limbo. I have an iBook ready to go - but where is Apple?
Any help would be most welcome.
    Andy

  • TRYING TO DOWNLAOD DIGITAL COPY OF PROMETHEUS ONTO ITUNES. KEEP GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE OF 5000. CAN ANY ONE HELP?

TRYING TO DOWNLAOD DIGITAL COPY OF PROMETHEUS ONTO ITUNES. KEEP GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE OF 5000. CAN ANY ONE HELP?

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
