Whenever I try to use Firefox, an unwanted Facebook home page appears. I have removed all Firefox and Facebook files and and then downloaded Firefox again, but the Facebook page continues to appear whenever I click on Firefox. What can I do?

Thank you wbddaniela, I tried your advise. However, I am still getting the same error when I click on firefox to get on the internet. If you have any other suggestions I sure would appreciate it. I'd really like to be back on Firefox. I've even tried to unload firefox from my system and reload it. No go there either.

Using Firefox to access facebook chat Button or online friiend chat button generates a Black screen with CANNOT LOAD IMAGES and no chat window opens.

Ever since downloading Firefox 4, whenever I try to open Firefox I get the download Icon and disk and am not allowed to send it to trash as I have down in other downloads.

I downloaded Firefox 4 a while ago. I followed the instructions and tried to get rid of the Icon on my desktop and the disk. Whenever I try to do so I get a message stating that the disk "Firefox" couldn't be ejected because Firefox is using it and that I have to quit the application and try to eject the disk again. But whenever I try to open Firefox I get the download Icon (the one with the fox and the arrow) and the disk back in my desktop. Can I ever get rid of them?

Did you drag the the Firefox program from the disk image (DMG) to the application folder on your hard drive ?

I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). After clicking OK Firefox opens.

Doesn't work out for me either, so I keep it disabled, because it slows down the searches, and it won't stream its additions onto the pages after the first page of search results. Streaming or page zipping allows me to scroll down to the next page of search results without selecting the page number.

On the MacBook, open up the Preferences dialog and go to the Sync panel. Click the Manage Account button so it shows more options, then click on the My Sync Key link to show you the Sync Key.
The sync key is the same as the secret phrase, it was renamed in recent versions of Firefox Sync.

The prices in the US store are in dollars - as you are paying INR - there is a conversion taking place somewhere and it is somewhat logical to believe that it is on the end of the bank card since Apple is not in the currency business (tho they know how to generate a lot of it!)
