Whenever my apple tv is off for awhile it deletes iTunes, Internet tabs

Ever since the last update whenever I don't use my Apple TV for awhile I lose everything but, computers and settings tabs. The Internet and movies and TV tabs disappear and I have to reset the Apple TV to get them back. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance. This is driving me crazy. I just want to turn it on and watch Netflix and I have to put back all my user data and such.

It might not ultimately resolve your problem as even if it works you may just end up restarting the router where you used to restart the Apple TV, but it would indicate the problem is network related.

Why won't my Apple TV turn off (for long)

I turn off my apple tv's (one 720p and one 1080p, but at some point for an unknown reason they turn back on. The power lights seem to always be on . To the est of my knowledge I don't have any other remotes that control them.
Can someone tell me why this is happening and whether there is a solution. Will it hurt anything if I just forget about them and let them run, or should they be kept off when not in use?

They turn back on (from sleeping) for brief periods to advertise their availability on the network - bonjour services. This then allows you to select them as a device even if they are sleeping... in which case they'll then wake up.

Apple Facebook ad promised $7.99 album but iTunes charged $9.99

I logged into my Facebook account and there was an ad that said it was from itunes offering a "limited time" price of $7.99 for Yo La Tengo's latest album, Fade. I followed the link in the ad, which opened another browser window to an iTunes preview site. That page said I had to open iTunes to complete the purchase.
In iTunes, the album was only listed at full price ($9.99). Stupidly, I went ahead and purchased it without trying to find out why the advertised price was not available. Now I feel like Apple ripped me off for $2.
Is this a common practice of Apple, to advertise a special "limited time only" price but when you log into your iTunes account, only the full price is available? Do I have any option to remedy this case of what I'll call "false advertising"? (Or is Apple so big that they can't afford to have their employees remove expired ads from places like Facebook?)

Older versions of Apple Updater and Bonjour can not be deleted

I sent back my 1st Gen. Nano on recall. I then tried to sync the new 6th Gen. Nano to my iTunes 9.0. iTunes said I had to upgrade to iTunes 10.... When I tried to upgrade I got a message saying older versions of Apple updater and Bonjour could not be deleted. Also said something about Apple Software msi.dll not found.
Going through the online Apple support procedures I was told to delete iTunes, which I did. It is now gone although I think it is in "My Music" but I don't know how to get it back to where it was.
I called support and talked to a Asian Lady who spoke poor English and talked VERY fast. As I am 76 and hard of hear, which I told her at the begining, it was hard to talk with her. She told me I had no warrantee service available to me. I told her that the replacement Nano had a 90 day warrantee, which it does. I told her I felt if Apple was providing me with a replacement that required software updates to function in iTunes then their software to download the latest iTunes should contain whatever it needs to do so. SHE HUNGUP on me!!!!!!
Now my question to you folks, how do I retrieve iTunes from the "My Music" location?
And how do I do/get whatever I need to upgrade iTunes?
Please speck like you are talking to an idiot as I am pretty dense on this.
I did follow Apples on line procedures and this is the mess I'm in.

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up").
In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Next, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

My 4s is locking up. Seems no reason all all. All apps up to date. Facebook locks up. Photo locks up. It works for awhile then nothing. Replacement only alternative or do I have an Apple virus?

Try resetting it: hold the on/off and home buttons simultaneously for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), release and wait for the phone to restart.

Make sure you have the Current Version of iTunes Installed on your computer

But that requires the computer to see the ipod. I am having the same problem and I keep being told to restore it, but you have to either get the ipod to turn on or have the computer see it in order to so that. Once you have a proven, working Charger... Charge the Device for a couple of hours. Then try to turn it on.
If no joy...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If the issue persists...
Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...
Be sure to make an appointment first...

That is the activation lock. Your iPad will be useless unless you can remove it.

Have you held the menu and left arrow together for 6 secs ? (I think you have from what you say).
Also try unpowering and restarting AppleTV.
