Where are bg color / bg image in CS 5.5?

Where are bg color / bg image in CS 5.5? They don't appear in the properties panel when a table is selected. Thanks.

The background color and background image attributes of the table tag have been deprecated by the W3C and should no longer be used to specify those two things. As a result, they have (rightly) been removed from the table Property inspector). Instead, you are expected to use CSS to apply these two styles to the table in question, e.g.,
table#thisOne { background-color:#FF6633; background-image:url(path/to/image.jpg); }
which will style this table -
<table id="thisOne">...</table>
with a color and a background image.

  • Where Are My Missing Master Images?

I keep my Aperture Library as a "managed" library rather than "referenced, so every master image is kept inside the Aperture Library icon.
Today I decided to look inside my Aperture Library (by selecting Show Package Contents), and I can only find master images from the past five years. The "Master" folder contains folders for projects I've titled 2012, 2011, and back to 2008. None of the earlier images that I keep in Aperture, 2007 through 2003, appear in the "Master" folder in the Aperture Library, and there are no folders for 2007 and earlier.
    That is, if I look in Aperture Library -> Master -> I see folders for 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009 and 2008. But that's it!
There are also no folders inside Preview for those earlier years, or inside Thumbnails.
    And yet...
And yet when I'm in the Aperture application, I can Export any of the images, all the way back to 2003. So the master images are obviously available to Aperture somewhere. They exist. And I checked -- those earlier missing images not Referenced, they're Managed, just like the whole library.
    So where are they??
I dug through other folders inside the Aperture Library package but didn't find a thing.
    Help!

But I'm digging around inside the package and still puzzled -- images inside the folder Aperture Library.aplibrary -> Masters -> 2009 -> 06 -> 14 -> 20090614-214439/ were indeed shot on June 14, 2009. So it appears that those various level folder names reflect image creation date, not the import date.
    Joe,
these various level folder names reflect what Aperture thinks are the import dates.
The "Import Session" is one of the Aperture specific Metadata tags. You can display it in the Info/Metadata pane of the Inspector Panel, if you add it to one of the presets, and then you'll know, where to search, if you absolutely must to sleep well .
You can also use this tag to search or to define a smart album. For example, the image below has been captured in 2003, but was imported in 2010, and will be found in a 2010 folder.

  • Where are Pantone color library file locations for InDesign CC?

I cannot believe how difficult it is to find this information. It should be a quick search in the regular Help system.
I'd really like to find the file locations for Illustrator CC and Photoshop CC too, because I need to update my Pantone libraries, but every place I can find to save them does not seem to be the default location, so I end up with a really long dropdown menu of strangely duplicated library names, and I have no idea how to clean it up or where the program is looking to give me that list.
As far as I can tell, the default libraries are located whereever that first set is. The lower sets must be somewhere else, but I don't know where, because I've deleted all Pantone sets but one that I could find, but I can still see them (and the other non-pantone color books) duplicated in the lower sets.
Please help! Also, Adobe, if you see this, this information should be READILY and EASILY found through the main Help menu in any Adobe product.

      This was the correct answer:
Laubender     Jun 2, 2014 12:18 AM  (in response to Maurice Castelbuono)
@Maurizio – the standard settings, the joboption files with the brackets like [PDF/X-1a:2001] are stored inside the inDesign app for InDesign CC 9.2.1.
The path for these would be:
    /Applications/Adobe InDesign CC.app/Contents/MacOS/Resources/Adobe PDF/settings/mul
or with a Japanese version of InDesign:
    /Applications/Adobe InDesign CC.app/Contents/MacOS/Resources/Adobe PDF/settings/japan
If you do a right-click on the InDesign app you can show them with "Show Package Contents" options.
All other PDF joboptions that you are creating are relative to your current User Library. They are stored in:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings
Where the tilde sign at the beginning indicates the home of the currently used user.
You can access ~/Library, if you press the alt key when accessing the "Go To" menu in the Finder. Otherwise it's invisible.

  • Where are the color preset files of FCPX in Mavericks ?

  • Where are the Color Matching buttons for Speed Grade CS6?

I just purchased CS6 and all of the online videos talk about the new color matching feature.  But I don't see it anywhere.  How do I enable this feature?

Thanks for the reply.  It took 50 minutes on hold and 20 minutes with the Indian tech support before they finally gave me the same answer.  It's pretty $hitty of Adobe because on the website, they list these features under CS6.  All the videos talking about the new features of CS6 show it and never once do they mention this feature is only available with CC.

  • Where are the Theme Images

    Hi,
I am using the Watercolour these at the moment, but want to change the colours of the images - is there an easy way to do this?
Where are the image files located?
    Thanks
    Rich

The theme packages are located in the application itself: iWeb/Contents/Resources/Themes folder. You'd have to open that particular package and see if you can modify the colors. I would make a backup copy of your iWeb application just in case.

  • Pages 08 Template images -where are they saved?

I know Pages 08 does not have clip art but I like many of the pictures on the templates. I want to use some of the template images (like the cat.tiff or frog.tiff) on a blank document. Copying & pasting works but I'd rather be able to see all the template tiffs at once. Where are the template images(tiffs) located on my hard drive. Is there a specific iWork folder I can find them in?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
The images are "buried" in each template which is buried in the Pages application. You can find them by Control- or right-clicking on the Pages application > Show package contents > Contents > Resources > Templates & then the folder for the template category you want. Then Control- or right-clicking on the template icon > Show package contents > Contents where you will find the actual images.
Or you can just copy & paste from an open template.

Exporting photos for UHDTV or Native 4K TV, what are the best settings ? (File: Quality File: Color Space, Image Sizing and resolution)   Or in other words; How can I get the smallest files but keep good quality for display on new UHDTV

You're welcome, and thank you for the reply.
    2) Yesterday I made the subclips with the In-Out Points and Command-U, the benefit is that I've seen the clip before naming it. Now I'm using markers, it's benefit is that I can write comment and (the later) clip name at once, the drawback is that I have to view to the next shot's beginning before knowing what the shot contains.
But now I found out that I can reconnect my clips independently to the format I converted the master clip to. I reconnected the media to the original AVI file and it worked, too! The more I work with, the more I'm sold on it... - although it doesn't seem to be able to read and use the date information within the DV AVI.
    1) Ok, I tried something similar within FCE. Just worked, but the file size still remains. Which codec settings should I use? Is the export to DV in MOV with a quality of 75% acceptable for both file size and quality? Or would be encoding as H.264 with best quality an option for archiving, knowing that I have to convert it back to DV if I (maybe) wan't to use it for editing later? Or anything else?
    Thank's in advance again,
    André

  • Where are the image units in Motion 5.05??

What happened to the image units in Motion 5.05? I used to have it in 5.04 but where is it? I'm using Mountain Lion.
    Please Help,
    ~AJ

    Good question!!!
I have a few Effects that are breaking due to the removal of these filters (both sets are gone, btw: Filters > Image Units and Generators > Image Units). Funny thing is -- they still work just fine in Motion (already being used) but completely ignored in FCPX.
I know that many of the IUs were from Quartz and not compatible with Motion, but many of them were, and worth experimenting with.
I just finished filling out a bug report (AKA providing feedback) about this subject. I hope you will do the same.

  • Where are the Fujifilm color film presets in Lightroom 5.4?

While I can now import Fuji .RAF into LR 5.4 and convert to .DNG, I cannot find the Fuji Color and Monochrome presets that are supposedly part of the update to LR 5.4. Where are they hiding and how do I get them?

Look in the Develop module: Right-hand side Camera Calibration panel at the Profile pulldown.

  • Color Settings Images are too warm and light while editing

Can someone help me understand color settings in Photoshop. My images look much lighter and warmer when I edit them than when I export them using Save for Web.
For a while I though it was because I was importing a raw file with a different color depth and profile so when it got saved as a jpg that the colors and brightness would shift. Recently, I made a graphic in Photoshop and it still looked warmer than the export. I also know temperature is displayed wrong in photoshop because when I create a neutral gray color its too warm. When it's exported using save for web the temperature is shown correctly.
If it was a mis calibrated monitor it would look warm all of the time. I'm using Photoshop CS3, my color profile is sRGB with color management turned off (its off because espon recommends this setting because it can better manage colors). Although I tried changing these settings and they don't seem to make a difference. Here's neutral gray image with screen caps to show you what I'm talking about.
    http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/pcofran/test/photoshop-color.jpg

Calibration tools calibrate your monitor to produce colors on screen that will look proper given your room lighting. Think of calibration as being a very precise, accurate adjustment to the contrast, brightness, and RGB controls of your monitor. Obviously, if these controls are set differently, your images will view differently. Calibration results in the monitor being set properly for display of images at a known gamma. You can get fairly good, but not totally accurate, calibration visually, without a colorimeter, using appropriate software tools.
Calibration tools also produce a profile that allows color managed software, such as Photoshop, to adjust its output for very precise reproduction within the gamut of your display. Again, there are some tools that produce a profile visually, but you get better results with a colorimeter.
Why should this be necessary? You want to display your images with the intended colors. You also want the proper colors to be sent to your printer or the files on your website. If your monitor isn't properly calibrated and profiled, pixels from the image file that are, say, light gray (RGB 200,200,200) might appear as middle gray, near-white, or even tinged with red or blue. If you adjust the colors in the image file so it displays the way you want it, the pixels in the file will no longer be light gray and will display as something else entirely on a different monitor, when printed, or when viewed at a website.

  • Why are 8 & 16 bit images covered in colored pixelation?

Hi...just downloaded trial vesion of photoshop CC. I have windows 7 64 bit operating system.Any ideas on what I can do to correct this? I am considering purchasing CS 6 extended and of course would like to test everything I can. Any help much appreciated!

This forum is actually about the Cloud, not about using individual programs
Once your program downloads and installs with no errors, you need the program forum
If you start at the Forums Index http://forums.adobe.com/index.jspa
You will be able to select a forum for the specific Adobe product(s) you use
Click the "down arrow" symbol on the right (where it says ALL FORUMS) to open the drop down list and scroll
    http://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop
In one place you say Photoshop CC and then later you say Photoshop CS6... when you ask in the Photoshop forum, you will need to clarify what you actually mean

  • Where are the images stored after migration

I'm totally lost after migrating my pictures from iPhotos.app to Photos.app...
From an article from Apple, (see below) there is no duplication of the library even if it looks like (when you look at the GB). So i understand that there is a kind of link or alias for each picture. But i would like to know where the original ones are (imposible to know looking at the finder because both libraries show strangely a lot of GB.
So I tried different options to understand. If I delete an event in the iPhoto library and definitely trash it, these pictures are still in Photos. And if I delete some pictures in Photos.app definitely (deleting definitely from File Menu > Show Recently Deleted) these pictures are still in iPhoto !!! So where are the real pictures ??? In which library? Somewhere else? Why the two libraries are showing all these Gb and it does'n't correspond to the capacity storage of my hard disk...
I really don't understand how it works... Any help would be very appreciated.
    Article from Apple :
Photos saves disk space by sharing images with your iPhoto or Aperture libraries
Learn how Photos stores images when you migrate your iPhoto or Aperture library and saves disk space by sharing images.
When you migrate a photo library from iPhoto or Aperture, the Photos app creates a new library structure but doesn't duplicate your images. Instead, Photos saves disk space by creating links to the original and preview versions of your images. When Finder reports the file size of your Photos library, it includes all your originals and previews. It may look like your remaining iPhoto or Aperture library is taking up twice the space on your hard drive, but it isn't—your images exist only in one location, even though you may have more than one photo library. After you migrate your iPhoto or Aperture library to Photos, you might feel tempted to delete your original iPhoto or Aperture library. Because the migrated library takes little additional space, you don't need to delete the original library.

They're in both libraries; a hard link to a file is indistinguishable from the original file, and either one can be deleted without affecting the other.
