Where are files downloaded by Adobe Application Manager?

Once I've downloaded and installed an application using the new Adobe Application Manager (for Creative Cloud), where on my Mac can I find the file that was downloaded? (hopefully a big .dmg) I need to install the applications on multiple machines and I sure as heck don't want to make all those downloads over and over again.

You'll probably find that you have to download the trials of CS6 outside the AAM and install them.
e.g. http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
Then license them for the Cloud via http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/convert-cs6-licensed-under-ccm.html

  • Can't trigger LR CC download because Adobe Application Manager keeps quitting.

I recently updated to Mavericks, I have CS5 package installed since it came out, now wanted to update LR and Photoshop to CC. Can't trigger the downloads because Adobe Application Manager keeps quitting. How do I get the dog files????

I can think of a few things to try:
Download and install the latest version of CC Desktop from:
    https://creative.adobe.com/products
Update it until there are no more updates to CC Desktop.
See if that fixes the problem with AAM quitting.
If not, then maybe uninstall everything from Adobe using the normal OS uninstall process, then run CC Cleaner, then reinstall just CC Desktop and PS-CC:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
Before uninstalling it, check your PS-CS5 to see if there are any plug-ins, presets, or other customizations that you want to make note of so you can replicate or update them for PS-CC.

how long does it take to download the adobe application manager?

It will depend on the speed of your Internet connection.  It is a fairly quick and efficient process over a high speed connection.  Downloads are often completed in less than a minute.

  • Update Failed - You are already running the Adobe Application Manager....

I'm on Mac OS 10.8.4. When I try to update InDesign CC to the latest version, the Adobe Application Manager launches and give me the following error:
    Update Failed
    Updates could not be applied
You are  already running the Adobe Application Manager. Please close all instances of Adobe Application Manager before applying updates.
So, I quit the AAM, verify that it's not running in Activity Monitor and relaunch it... to get the same error message. I haven't found a solution online, so I'm hoping someone can help me get past this.

Rfahl have you tried rebooting and then applying the update again?  If so, and you still receive the same error, then you may want to try installing the update in Safe Boot mode.  You can find more details for starting up in Safe Boot at OS X Lion: Start up in safe mode - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4373.

  • Can not update- message says you are already running the adobe application manager - but it is not open

I'm trying to update Indesign and Photoshop.  I get a message saying that the Updates could not be applied - you are already running the Adobe Application Manager - but I have closed everything.   It may be related to the fact that today, about every 2 minutes, Adobe Creative Cloud Connection pops up.  I have closed it numerous times, but it continues to open.

Terminate the process(es) in Task Manager/ Activity Monitor.

  • Where do I find the Adobe Application Manager (CC) ?

I have most of the Adobe products available thru CC installed and have been using them for two semesters.  I cannot find the Application Manager either as part of an application (link from), or as a separate element of the installed files on my system.  System is PC based...pretty much standard stuff.
       Thanks.

If you do Help / Updates in a CC program it should start up AAM.

  • Where are files downloaded by Android apps?

    Hello,
I just downloaded 10.2.1 on my VZW Z30 Friday and immediately downloaded DatAnywhere. I was able to logon without an issue, but am curious where the downloaded data goes, as I can't locate it. So where does the downloaded data from android apps go in the file system?
    Thanks,
    Matt

I'm not familiar with datAnywhere so can't comment on that app specifically.

  • How come some of the apps are missing from the Adobe Application Manager.

When I downloaded the AAM for cloud it only gave 14 apps instead of the 26 apps to install.  What do I need to do to see all of the apps?  I have windows 7.
    Thanks,
    D.....

Branched this out to a new discussion.  If you have programs missing it is likely that your computer does not meet the system requirements for that particular application.  For example if you are running a 32-bit operating system you will not be given the option to install After Effects or Premiere Pro since they require a 64-bit OS.
