Where are iPhoto theme songs?

I am running mountain lion and I want to use the iPhoto 11 theme music for other things. my question is, were can i find it

Noah:
Use Spotlight to search for one of the songs in my screenshot.
That should find the music file whereve it is on your hard drive. Next hold down the Command (⌘) and double click on the music file in the Spotlight search list.
You'll be taken to the folder holding the file where you can COPY them to the Desktop and then move them to where you want to store them permanently.

where are all the songs and whole albums i bought for i tunes? i have a new macbook but iTunes has none of my paid for music

Your purchases won't automatically show in your new Mac's iTunes library. If you go into iTunes > Preferences and on the Store tab tick the 'show iTunes in the cloud purchases' then what you can redownload should show in the Music part of your library with a cloud icon against them - click on the cloud to download them. Or click on your name towards the top right of iTunes and then click Purchased on the popup, and you can redownload them from there.
If you've moved countries since buying the music, or if the rights-holders have removed them from the store, then you won't be able to redownload them. In that case if you still have your old computer then you could copy them over from that (e.g. via an external drive : How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Support or via home sharing), or copy them from your backup of your downloads/library and add them via File > Add Too Library

  • I cannot print from iPhoto 9.2.1  It says that there are no "themes" installed. Where are the "themes" and how do I install them?

I have 'upgraded' to iPhoto 9.2.1 and now cannot print my photos. It says that "this feature is unavailable" because there are no "themes" installed. Themes? I just want to print one of the 6,000 photos I never had problems printing before.

    Yes.
    To re-install iPhoto
    1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5:  Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows:  In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
    /var/db/receipts/
    2c: on 10.7 they're at
    /private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
    3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List.

  • Bought new computer, Logged in, so where are my purchased songs?

I finally was able to authorize and log into my account but my already purchased songs do not show up. Where are they and how do I get them back?

Sorry, but you only get one download per purchase. If you have the tracks on an iPod, you can transfer them back from the iPod to iTunes. Alternatively, you can, if the hard drive in the old system still works, remove the drive from the old system and mount it on your new computer (if you have a Firewire or USB drive case, mount it in that, or you can get this not-too-expensive drive adapter) and you should be able to copy them from the drive into iTunes.
If the drive has failed completely, you don't have the tracks on an iPod, and you didn't make a backup as iTunes itself advises, you're probably out of luck and will need to repurchase your tracks. You can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis, but don't count on it.

  • Where are the Theme Images

    Hi,
I am using the Watercolour these at the moment, but want to change the colours of the images - is there an easy way to do this?
Where are the image files located?
    Thanks
    Rich

The theme packages are located in the application itself: iWeb/Contents/Resources/Themes folder. You'd have to open that particular package and see if you can modify the colors. I would make a backup copy of your iWeb application just in case.

  • Where are iPhoto video thumbnails in iMovie?

For the longest time I kept hitting the 'delay' or 'not now' button when iMovie asked to build thumbnails for my iphoto videos. Finally last night I had the time to do that. It took over two hours to do - and now I have no idea where imovie put them. I see the videos in iphoto but I do not see them in imovie where I need them for a film project. While it was doing this it said something like 'building album or folder: iphoto videos" I didn't pay close attention. Now I don't see any new folder that contains all my iphoto videos.
    Any suggestions???
    Thank you.

  • Having a problem printing photos from Iphoto.  Seems that "themes" are required in order to accomplished the task.  Where are the Themes found?

Where can I find the themes, possibly formats, for printing photos for Iphotos?  Are these still being used or have they been upgraded to another program such as ilife?

You'll need to reinstall iPhoto.  If you MBP came with Lion preinstalled move the iPhoto applicaiton to the Trash bin in the Dock, go to the App Store, go to Purchases, download and reinstall iPhoto.

  • Where  are iPhoto jpg's?

Where on the hard drive is the default location of the pictures stored in iPhoto.
I'm looking for all the jpg's in one place outside of iPhoto.
    Thank you,
    Gary

They are in the iPhoto Library, in your Pictures Folder.
Since iPhoto 7 (iLife 08) the old iPhoto Library Folder is now a Package File. This is simply a folder that looks like a file in the Finder. The change was made to the format of the iPhoto library because many users were inadvertently corrupting their library by browsing through it with other software or making changes in it themselves.
Want to see them? Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
If you want to access the files
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:
*For Users of 10.5 and later*
You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
    Uploaded with plasq's Skitch!
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
    Uploaded with plasq's Skitch!
*For users of 10.4 and later* ...
Many internet sites such as Flickr and SmugMug have plug-ins for accessing the iPhoto Library. If the site you want to use doesn’t then some, one or any of these will also work:
To upload to a site that does not have an iPhoto Export Plug-in the recommended way is to Select the Pic in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export the pic to the desktop, then upload from there. After the upload you can trash the pic on the desktop. It's only a copy and your original is safe in iPhoto.
This is also true for emailing with Web-based services. However, if you're using Gmail you can use iPhoto2GMail
If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
*If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running*:
For users of 10.6 and later:
You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu. Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and later:
Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
    Other options include:
    1. *Drag and Drop*: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
    2. *File -> Export*: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
    3. *Show File*: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.

  • Where are iPhoto library, iTunes, Safari bookmarks, desktop icons...?

When installing Leopard, my main internal "Macintosh HD" (where all my programs are loaded) didnt show as an option, so I installed on my secondary HD. Leopard runs OK from here, BUT, I cant find my iPhoto library, iTunes, Safari bookmarks, desktop icons, and the programs in the dock no longer show. Any advice?

Sadly, this is still an issue.
I guess plan A would be to find all the settings I am now missing and point the various programs to them. Though not sure how to do either of those things.
If this is difficult, then plan B is to "boot back into ...Tiger drive" and reload Leopard in drive bay 1 as originally intended. Again, not sure how to do that - and why it didnt work the first time.
Pls let me know if you think this is the right plan, and if so, what would the steps required look like.

  • Where is iPhoto theme music located

I am running LION with all items updated. I did install and earlier version of iDVD (v7.1.2). I am trying to find the location of 'THEME MUSIC' from the Slideshow creator in iPhoto. I've searched under all the keywords I can think of, but all the responses lead me the location of the included 'SAMPLE MUSIC', not the THEME. When I go to add music to a slideshow, I am given 4 sources of music:
SAMPLE MUSIC (has a simple folder shown with a listing of songs located in app>content>music
THEME MUSIC (shown with what looks like an old 35mm slide box) This also has a series of songs that will play
GARAGE BAND (has a guitar icon but is empty in my case)
ITUNES (with normal iTunes icon and has all my iTunes music listed)
I search the song names & artist names listed under THEME MUSIC but nothing shows.
Can anyone help with the location of this THEME MUSIC folder/list/database????

    It's located here:
    The files are .m4a files.

  • Where are my deleted songs?!?!

I selected the songs from my library that i wanted to get rid of and click the delete button. when it asked me if i wanted to keep them or move them to the trash i click the keep button. Now i dont know where those songs are! Can you help?

The songs you deleted are still on your hard disk; to see them, navigate to the iTunes library, which is ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/ by default, where ~ is the folder in the Finder's sidebar with the house icon, and locate the accompanying files.
If you've moved the iTunes library or turned off the option to automatically copy files to the iTunes Music folder when they are added to the library, they could be anywhere accessible to the computer; perform a search in the Finder.

  • Where are my missing songs

My iTunes library no longer has many of the songs that were once there. This is not my imagination. For example, I have ten versions of "Stardust" in my iPod, which were of, course, downloaded from my iTunes library. However, I now only have two versions there. This is only one example. I suspect that there may be over a hundred missing songs.
I have searched for the songs with "Spotlight, but that didn't help. Are there any other ways of searching for missing songs?
Finally, how do I find the total number of songs in my iTunes library and in my iPod Nano? I would like to see just how many missing songs there are.

    Tygerlylly wrote:
To find out the number of songs in itunes, open it, and click on music and it should say the number of items in music at the bottom of the itunes window in the frame. You can also look at the song files in your itunes folder in itunes music. Then you can check and see if the actual files are there whether or not they are showing up in itunes.
I found the total number of songs thanks to you. The figures so small and out-of-the-way, that I've missed them time after time. However, I couldn't follow your next tip. I don't see any "iTunes folder," and I don't know how to access it. How do I find them?
