Where are my all plug-in in photoshop CC 2014? Mac OS X

After installing the New CC 2014, there's no plug-in in my list of plug.
I'm on mac OSX.

Well I copied the directories too and yes it worked for NIK and Topaz which showed up in my filter lists. For those who's Filters aren't showing up one thing you can try is to make sure you are in the same Workspace as CC. So for me my workspace is photography but if its in the Essentials (default) my Filters dont show up. Just go Window > Extensions and select yours.
Extensions is still greyed out though so can't add any of my panels.
The problem with keeping CC 2014 installed for me is that when ever I launch an image into Photoshop from Lightroom it will go into CC 2014 and not CC. So I ended up completely uninstalling the software and will wait for a fix.
What is Photoshop without its extensions??? LMAO

My apologies. Your post jogged my little grey cells to the point that I did a few experiments. In essence, you are right. My plug-ins do not work with 8-bit greyscale images. I like to deliberately shoot B&W and have a Wratten #12 minus-blue filter on the lens--as I used to do with film cameras.
The raw files ( Fujifilm's .RAF) were converted in Adobe CR by checking off "Convert to Grayscale" under the fourth tab. In the future, I will do the B&W conversion in Photoshop with either Nik or Topaz plug-ins.

Help, where are the render preferences in Adobe Photoshop CS6

Okay, I admitt, .... I am an idiot that is new to Adobe Photoshop.
But help the new girl out, here.... Please...
Where are the render preferences in Adobe Photoshop Extended CS6.
I searched Adobe Help in Dutch already but they point me towards options that doesn't excist.
Maybe they were there in Adobe CS5 and I am reading an older version of the documentation...
But in CS6 I can only find the option Render and no Render Preferences...

Adobe changed the way video is rendered in CS6. Adobe Media Encoder in now used in CS6 only a subset of the Adobe's full Adobe Media Encoder is included in CS6 is a dll. I do not think you can add new Rendering Presets however you can change some setting when you use the supplied Reddening Presets. Perhaps if you have the Adobe suite and have the full Adobe Media Encoder you can create some presets and add them to Photoshop Rendering presets. I seem some compliants about CS6 Quicktime rendering presets lack the power of CS5. The Rendering presets seem to be stored in sub folders in "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Presets\Video\Adobe Media Encoder" and "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Presets\Video\Adobe Media Encoder"

Where are sound and sharing settings stored in plist on mac mini?

Does anyone know where are sound and sharing preferences stored in plist on mac mini on OS 10.8?
I want to auto-configure these settings for a bunch of computers instead of manual configuration through the system preferences menu.
Anyone has any advice?

Using Apps - Where are they all? Customize main screen?

Ok so I got the 2.0 update and everything just finish installing/restoring/backing-up and all is working perfectly fine.
My question concerns actual usage of new Apps. On my Touch's main screen only the first 3 apps I had downloaded are showing up after syncing. Where are my other applications? Also, is it possible to say, get rid of the Stocks button if I wanted to? I don't use some of the functions it comes with and I'd rather keep some other apps handy on the main screen.

EDIT: Its not actually just the first 3 apps showing.. Its just 3 random ones out of the 12 I had downloaded from iTunes.

Press one of the icons until they all 'wiggle' and you can then drag icons to wherever you want, including to the second page.
If there is more than one page of icons you will see a row of dots at the bottom of the screen and the highlighted one is the page of icons you are on. That function was always there.

I copied and pasted the relevant plug ins from previous version Plug in folder and some of them have appeared in my filters in CC 2014 but they do not work
In earlier versions all my filters opened in a separate layer but now they do not work at all even though the Nik filters do open but the effect does not apply.
My perfect Suite and capture One plug ins do not work at all either

Where are my iPod serial numbers stored in iTunes for Mac?

Our house was recently broken into and all my iPods were stolen (nano, 2 shuffles and a classic). I didn't register any of them (because I am young and stupid apparently...) so they are not on the my support tab on my account. I read that iTunes stores the serial numbers somewhere in data files on the computer, but could only find the paths for Windows operating systems... How/where are they located on a Mac?
I want to put them in the police report..

If you have synced recently, go to computer iTunes > Preferences... > Devices tab > select and mouse hover over the iPod backup entry and your s/n will be shown. (Might need to wait a second or two)

What Dell Laptops are good for 3D Typography in Photoshop CC 2014?

Well the search goes on...my Dell 17 with Intel Pentium ain't cuttin' it! lol
My range is $900 - $1100. I'm looking for a Dell Laptop with a 17" monitor and ample processor with enough "dedicated graphics memory" to utilize the 3D features on Photoshop CC 2014 and Illustrator cc 2014.
Unlike the AMD and NVIDIA processors, which have a certain amount of RAM dedicated for just the graphics, Intel's i3, i5, and i7 don't list what amount of the RAM is dedicated to the graphics.

As it happens, if you ever watch 'The Photoshop Guys' on Kelby TV, they nearly all use MBPs exclusively. I believe one of them also uses a desktop — maybe Cory Barker because he does all the 3D stuff. I'd worry that a laptop that does not specify video RAM, is using onboard video, and not a dedicated video card. The GPU is an important component regards Photoshop performance, so make sure you get it right.

Photoshop CC 2014, MAC OSX, I have no option to close a modified file without saving it - i.e. no "don't save".

Hi there.
I have an odd issue where when I open a file and make changes to it, I can't close the file by clicking the 'x' button, can't select "file close", can't "command W" or even quit or force quit photoshop until I have saved the file. It's very frustrating as I have had to make a "PSD TRASH" folder on my desktop specifically for saving random working files, which I clear out at the end of the day.
Has anyone else had this issue? I have compared my preferences to colleagues without this issue and they are set the same. I have also re-installed Photoshop CC 2014 on my machine with no success.
Any advice would be appreciated!

What happens when you select File > Close exactly?

I've not been able to find anything about the new services that OS X integrates with. For example, in Safari I can only choose between Google, Yahoo and Bing. In QuickTime Player I can only upload to YouTube and Vimeo, and the only microblogging service I can add is Twitter.

Where is the TWAIN plug-in for Photoshop Elements 13?

I just upgraded from PE 12 to PE 13. Windows 8.1 system.
I did not see an option to import an image using Editor so I looked in the Organizer and found one. BUT, it only has WIA support for my HP scanner. And that means limited options when scanning. With PE12, I had to copy a file from an Optional Plug-ins folder to the Plug-ins folder. I cannot find an Optional Plug-ins Folder in either Editor or Organizer. Has support for TWAIN disappeared with PE13? I do a lot of scanning of my own artwork and the additional options with TWAIN are very useful.

If you have a 64 bit version of windows, there is no more TWAIN in PSE 13, only in the 32-bit version and the mac version.

I want to re-create a html-web gallery that I used in CS4 and that was integrated in my own website. I wonder where the template are stored i Lightroom on a a Mac, so I'm able to copy and modify them. The possibility for modification inside LR are not enough.
