Where are they? When I connect my iPad it does'nt show up. How do I update apps if I can't find them.

In the upper left corner is a drop-down menu. There you can select the apps. To check for updates you have to use the button in the lower right corner.

You can go back to the old view with the left-hand sidebar via View > Show Sidebar (if you are on windows then alt-v should show the View drop-down menu) - which is what I'm currently doing as I'm familiar with that way.
Or, on the new view you can click on the library type at the top left and select Apps and then Check For Updates at the bottom right of the screen. When you've downloaded the updates to your computer, click on Library top right to go back to your library view from the store, then select the iPad (top right) and Sync at the bottom right should then copy the updates to your iPad.

How can I update the apps. with the new iTune, that's really silly especially I have two iTune account for different countries

I used 2 iPhones and a iPad, 2 Apple ID for different countries so that I can download apps. from different country. Its a pain and sometimes no possible to update the apps. on the ISO devices. Apple really needs to fix this aspect. Also the new iTunes is so difficult to use, please bring back the old one.

When Itunes opens
1) Click on drop dow list button top left under the player controls
2) Select Apps
3) At the bottom right there are two buttons, Check for updates and Get More Apps
An Alternative is when iTunes opens in the top menu Click on View, Show Sidebar. Then you will see your apps page as in itunes 10. Click on that option and as before you should have two buttons, Check for updates and Get More Apps.
NB this is all within Itunes NOT the iTunes Store

Where are my Apps from the cloud on iMac?

My son just got an iPod and I wanted to try to download my apps that are in the cloud to my IMac so the he can put them on his iPod. BUT, when I hook up my phone like to sync and select APPs, I only see the Apps currently on my phone. I can not see all the APPs in the cloud?

Where are you looking ? The Apps part of your Mac's iTunes library will only show the apps that you have on your Mac - unlike the Music, Movies and TV Shows part of your library the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tickbox on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences (command-comma) doesn't appear to work for apps.
You can redownload apps (if they are still in your country's store) on your Mac's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage
Or you can copy the apps that you have on your phone back from it via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases (that only copies the apps, not their content).

I got a ipod classic 7 th generation. I put songs on it ( and it shows on my mac that the songs are on the ipod (Songs from cd's) when I disconnect my ipod the songs are not showing on the ipod (but they on it) except one song that I purchased on itunes (this songs shows on the ipod) I got the new itunes and OS X Lion 10.8.5 on my Mac. Is the new itunes are not compatible with the ipod classic 7th generation?

Thanks ecpa. I eventually found the problem. ITunes indicated that home sharing was "on" but it wasn't. i had to first turn it "off" and then turn it "on" again. Silly really. Then I was able to download the latest software for the ATV, as you suggested. All works well now. Still not too keen on iTunes 11 though. Too many changes and Apple seem very intent getting you into the App Store to buy.

What, specifically are you referring to? Updating apps works the same way it always has. That hasn't changed in iTunes.
Go to Apps (NOT apps under the phone) and click the check for updates thing in the lower right corner of the window.

How do I delete apps off the new itunes ?

So somehow, my husband used my computer to attach his phone to itunes. Now, when i open my itunes store (connect my phone to sync) it has all of his apps in my store and it wants to load them on my phone. How do I delete those from my itunes account. I have tried the highlight and then push delete button on keyboard - but it doesn't work. I can't even right click on the app. When I hit 'remove' it says 'will remove' then when it starts to sync it starts putting them on my phone. Please help, this is totally frustrating.

So I just upgraded and usually I can select apps and right click and drop menu has delete like duh easy. But now i just upgraded my itunes and you can't right click and fully remove it from your itunes only your iphone. Someone pelase enlighten me

New Profile Layout - Where are photos located in the new layout

Photos are now located at the top of the Profile, to the right of the Display Photo. When viewing another user’s profile (Secondary Profile), this allows you to see who they are much more easily.
When viewing your profile (Primary Profile), an icon will display that reads, “Add Photos”. By clicking this icon, you will be taken to the photo upload page. Other users will not see this icon on your profile. If you have 6 or less photos on your profile, the photo area may seem a bit blank. Please upload more photos to complete your profile. Our research has shown that profiles with 6 or more photos receive two times the amount of messages! Also, we had previously given the option to display how many photos appeared on the profile. Now it is 5, plus the gallery link, with no option to change. This was done to show larger photos and remain consistent across profiles.

well Tagged, I really like the new clean look you have done well.I do have a couple of things to address, though. 1) Is there any reason why when signing in through yahoo browser, some features dont work. Like when i'm sending a comment to someone, will go through fine, but not if I add my own text, the comment does clear, period. However, if I use google, works fine, I personally do not like google and really use it rarely. So please...please....could you not configure so us people can all use these new features? 2) MORE GAMES!! Where are my apps in the purchased list in the app store?

I just bought a new ipod and transfered all the data from my old ipod to my new one. I logged into the app store but under the purchase list there are none of my apps that i downloaded on my old ipod. Please help!

Yes and yes....it turned out that after I restarted my iPod and then logged out and logged back in to the App Store that my whole purchase list came back. Thanks for your time though.

Where are iBooks stored on the new Mavericks OS?

I was trying to find where Apple is storing the iBooks on Mavericks. I knew where it was before Mavericks. I download a lot of books and pdfs from the Internet that I manually add to iBooks and I would like to know where they are being stored. I am trying to get my wife's mac with the same books and mine. Right now it is missing a few. It would be easier to just find where they are stored and copy them than for me to go to all ot these websites and redownload everything.

Creating an OS X-style "alias" is not enough. I haven't tried the following solution (and I won't do it myself as my HDD is big enough, sorry), but the correct way to do this kind of jobs on OS X is to create a "symlink", or "symbolic link", which is a UNIX-style alias (read more about it on Wikipedia if you'd like to). To put it short, you type/paste the following commands into Terminal.app, one at a time (you will be making changes to your system files and you will be prompted for your admin password, which is pretty dangerous if you don't understand the mechanisms—remember to quit iBooks.app first, make backups, and be prepared for any damages):
sudo mv "~/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBooks" "/Volumes/EXTERNAL DRIVE/PATH TO IBOOKS FOLDER";
sudo ln -s "/Volumes/EXTERNAL DRIVE/PATH TO IBOOKS" "~/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBooks";
You should change "EXTERNAL DRIVE" to the name of your drive, and replace "PATH TO IBOOKS" with the path you want to store iBooks documents on your external drive. For instance, replacing "PATH TO IBOOKS" with "iBooks" simply creates a directory named "iBooks" under the root directory of your external drive with the iBooks data. Note that after doing this you won't be able to properly use iBooks without connecting the external drive.
This might or might not work, but I hope this helps.
(If this doesn't work, recover to the original state by quitting iBooks.app first, and type/paste the following into Terminal (you might again be prompted for your admin password):
sudo rm -rf "~/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBooks";
sudo mv "/Volumes/EXTERNAL DRIVE/PATH TO IBOOKS FOLDER" "~/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBooks";
This will most likely recover your original working state of iBooks.)
