Where are my bookmarks in Apple maps after the iOS 8 update?

What happened to my bookmarks in Apple maps now that I have upgraded to iOS 8?

They will show up when you are in the field to Seach or Enter an Address:

When you are getting Directions between 2 locations, however, they don't show up (for me); just start typing the name of the Favorite or Recent or Contact, and choices will appear.

anyone else having trouble with their ipod after the iOS 8 update? like it won't charge past 20% and it keeps like restarting itself and whenever it does that like I usually have to unplug the charger and plug it back in for it to turn on since it acts like its dead when it does that

A very few have reported problems:
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

My phone is kind of froze after the ios update.. what do i do?

I did the IOS update that it prompted me to do and it shut itself off and was restarting and took forever so i shut it off and now i try to turn it back on and it keeps flashing the apple logo but wont turn back on... It wont charge or sync to my computer... any ideas??

Hard Reset
Press and hold BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
if no result
recovery mode
open itunes on computer
plug cable into computer not iOS device
turn device off
hold home button and plug cable into IOS device. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on IOS device.
look to computer should have message about recovery mode click ok and restore

Audiobooks are being asked to buy again after an ios update

I did an IOS update on my ipad and cannot find my purchased audiobooks. When I go to iTunes to view the audiobooks I've already purchased there's a prompt appears asking " you've already purchased this audiobook, do you want to purchase again?" What should I do?

Audiobooks are a one-time only download from the store, you will be charged if you redownload them - I think that audible.com supply them all, so I assume that it's them requiring the one-time download.
If they are no longer in the Music app on your iPad then do you have copies of them in the Books (Audiobooks if using a Mac with Mavericks or Yosemite on it) part of your computer's iTunes library - did you do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases prior to starting the update ? If not, and if they are still in the store and you haven't moved countries since buying them, then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a redownload : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

so i had a number of apps on my homescreen and after the update they disappered. So I go to the app store to re-download them but all it gives me is the option to open them. can someone help me get my apps back, without having to go through 8 processes to access them. thanks

go to settings>general>reset>reset home screen layout and see if they appear.

Why don't my tones appear on my iphone after the ios update?

After updating my phone to the iOS 6.0 I can't find the tones I downloaded (to the phone), even though iTunes shows them in the "Tones" page and they even appear on the "On this iPhone" page in iTunes...but they are not in the tones list on the phone. Where are they?

i just ran the diagnostic in itunes and it says that itunes doesn't find any usb ports. they're clearly there and working. thought i'd add the info just to see if anyone had a clue as to what was going on.

Why can't I have the sound back after the IOS update?

Since the last IOS update my iPad does the lock rotation or mute, not both like in the previous version! I want to be able to use both features and I just can't and it's frustrating... Also my Facebook just stop working. I deleted and installed again but it just keeps closing. I really would appreciate some help with my problems. Thanks!

Have you verified that the side switch setting is set to what you want it to control?

Also check the setting in Control Center (swipe up from above the Home button) as well (rightmost icon on the top row).
For the Facebook crashing, try this:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
If that has no effect, try deleting the Facebook App, then download & reinstall it.

What can I do now that the still wallpapers are missing on my iPhone 5S after the iOS 7.0.6 update?

I own an iPhone 5S, 32GB.
I recently updated the phone to iOS 7.0.6. Now, I do not see the still wallpapers in Settings>Wallpapers and Brighteness>Choose Wallpaper>Stills.
The dynamic wallpapers are all there, but, the still selections are gone.
Please look at the images to better understand my problem, thank you.
As seen in the image above, the 'star-filled sky' image is visible on the 'stills' tab, but, when you tap on 'stills', what you can see is shown in the4 image below.
It says that there are no photos.
Can someone please help me out?
Mine is not a jailbroken phone. It's stock Apple.

Why do I have to enter my Apple ID after an iOS update on iPad?

Every time I update iOS on my iPad, it asks me to enter my Apple ID to configure iCloud despite the fact that iCloud is already configured.
Why is that? It's a hassle, annoying, and doesn't happen on my iPhone.

You're right, it's because you're a course creator or contributor.
You can just cancel this dialog box but you can't avoid it.

Can I watch sky go on my apple tv after the mirror update?

Hi I can watch downloaded videos on my apple tv that have been downloaded onto my iPhone 4s but can I watch sky go or any app that displays video? I can only get the sound working atm. I know there has been an update that mirrors my iPhone but I haven't got it to work yet.

Yes however sky go has being disabled from outputting it's display to the ATV from the app itself. App developers have this option.

IPad 2 won't rotate after latest iOS update

Why won't my iPad 2 screen rotate since the latest update to the iOS? It will sometimes rotate after several minutes but not always. I have done all the usual: checked the settings, side button, reset all, etc. I've had it a couple of years and this problem just started after the iOS update. I am ready to throw it away.

Enter the URL: http://maps.google.com/#bmb=1
tap "Go"
Now that you have Google Maps up on Safari, tap the bottom center icon (box with arrow pointing to the right).
Select "Add to Home Screen".
You will now have a Google Maps icon on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch that will take you to Google maps.
There are other map services available. MapQuest, Waze, NavFree, OffMaps, etc...
