  • Where are my Apps from the cloud on iMac?

My son just got an iPod and I wanted to try to download my apps that are in the cloud to my IMac so the he can put them on his iPod.  BUT, when I hook up my phone like to sync and select APPs, I only see the Apps currently on my phone.  I can not see all the APPs in the cloud?
    Help....

Where are you looking ? The Apps part of your Mac's iTunes library will only show the apps that you have on your Mac - unlike the Music, Movies and TV Shows part of your library the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tickbox on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences (command-comma) doesn't appear to work for apps.
You can redownload apps (if they are still in your country's store) on your Mac's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage
Or you can copy the apps that you have on your phone back from it via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases (that only copies the apps, not their content).

  • HT4528 where are my pictures in the cloud how do i get them back

how to get pictures back on my iphone 5 where are they

If you setup iCloud and turned Photo Stream on, you can view them on other devices that have Photo Stream enabled.
See this Apple doc for more info -> iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
When do photos upload to My Photo Stream?
When you enable My Photo Stream on your devices, all new photos you take or import to those devices will be automatically added to your photo stream.
On an iOS device, new photos you take will be automatically uploaded to your photo stream when you leave the Camera app and are connected to Wi-Fi. Note: My Photo Stream does not push photos over cellular connections.
On your Mac, any new photos you import to iPhoto or Aperture will begin uploading automatically when you have a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. Or, you can change your iPhoto or Aperture preferences so that only photos you manually add to My Photo Stream are uploaded.
On a PC with iCloud Control Panel 2.0 or later, open a Windows Explorer window. Select Photo Stream under Favorites. Open My Photo Stream. Click the "Add photos" button. Select photos to import to My Photo Stream, and then click Open.
You can get them to reappear on your iPhone by restoring it from backup or by re-enabling iCloud and the Photo Stream.

  • Where are my contacts in the Backup Assistant for Droid X????

I have a Motorola Android X2. I want to edit and delete some of my contacts.  I get the message that says I cannot from my phone, but have to use the backup assistant online.  However, the only contacts that show up online are the contacts I've added after I got my phone.  Why are my contracts that were transferred from my old phone not there?  I've tried multiple syncing and still only have 9 contacts and of course, the ones I want to change or delete are old ones. I see that you can import contacts, but how do you get a file from the phone to import? Any help would be appreciated.

Did the contacts from old phone get transferred at the store?   Sounds like the contacts that you are having isssues with is stored on phone or from a Facebook or Tweeter account.   Maybe you can go to phone dialer and select the contact tab / menu / export to get files exported to a cvs file and then copy to pc and import into Google.

  • Hi. I just got the iPhone 6, plugged into itunes and made the mistake of putting an OLD back up on my new phone resulting in losing all contacts after 2013. They are not saved on the cloud. Is there any way to go back to before I screwed up?

If you have performed a sync with the device since you restored this old backup, then don't bother looking for another backup. iTunes writes over the last backup each time you sync. If you were handling contacts in iCloud, you would find them by logging into iCloud. Or you can check settings and iCloud and see if the button it on for Contacts. Otherwise it might have been on the computer, if you had a program that syncs with iTunes and handles contacts, depending on the computer system you use. If Windows, it would be Windows Contacts or Outlook. If a Mac, there is a Mac Address book as well.

  • HT204150 I restored my iphone last night and would i noticed that contacts in my icloud are not on my iphone...how can I get the contacts from the cloud to my iphone?

I remotely wiped my iPhone on Saturday night...Sunday afternoon I restored my iPhone to settings from a while ago. I was not near a wifi to connect my phone to icloud. I noticed on icloud that there are contacts on the cloud that i would like to add to my phone. Is there a way now that I can add the contacts that are on cloud to my iphone?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Any contacts that are in iCloud will be restored to your phone when you sign back into iCloud and enable iCloud syncing.

  • Since upgrading to 6 on my iphone, my notes disappear. They are no longer in the cloud. Also disappear during typing! What's happening?

So you have business contacts that were lost... do you not have these on a Database in some shape or form? Sounds like you need to invest in a RAID1 backup setup for your computer so you dont have this issue in the future.
As for repairing your problem, sounds like you are going to need to start from scratch at this point or if the data is still on your phone look into a program that can take the information from the phone onto iTunes.

  • My iPad does not sync any contacts to the cloud, what can I do?

The interesting thing is: It receives contacts from the cloud and I can even alter or delete those contacts on the iPad but it simply doesn't sync its own contacts to the iCloud. What can I do???
    Thanks in advance!

Try using contacts (mac) to drag a contact from one are to another.  I can't test this as I only have the "iCloud" group.

  • How do I delete the contacts on the cloud?

How do I delete the contacts on the cloud.  All the contacts on my phone are correct but they are doubled and tripled on the cloud

Unfortunately, you would have to do it one by one.

  • How do I download my contacts from the cloud into the Mac

I have been updating my contacts into the cloud but I would like to have the updated records physicaly on the Mac. I don't know how import them into my Mac.

I'm not fully sure what you want to do.
If your contacts are at iCloud.com and you want them synced to your mac, just turn on contact syncing in system preferences > iCloud.
If your contacts are in iCal in your iCloud account and you want them in your on my mac account, just drag them to On My Mac in users and groups.
If they are in iCloud.com and you want them in iCal in your On My Mac account, do both of the above or make sure On My Mac is the default account in iCal and choose export from the options from the gear icon at iCloud.com.

  • Upgraded to iOS5; where are my contacts?

I just upgraded to iOS5; where are my contacts? Everything else is there, just my contacts are totally missing -- a real disaster.

They are in whatever contact manager or cloud service you were syncing them to. What were you syncing them with and are they still there?

  • Finding contacts in the Cloud or on phone - Help!

Removed Outlook from my phone (and work computer) and have no contacts but can see phone numbers. IF I send a text, I can see the name and number.  But I have no names for those numbers I may have called or texted earlier?  How do I access the contacts in the Cloud if they are stored there and get them to appear on my phone?  I do have an excel spreadsheet that I exported contacts to if that helps.
    Thank you!!!!!!!

Please turn off your caps lock.
You should be importing your photos to your computer regularly.  When you do this, you can erase the photos from the iPhone.

  • Where are my photos on the PC after sync with an iphone?  I know nobody out there is stupid enough to suggest to me that they are encrypted and inaccessible, right?  Seriously?  How stupid would Apple corporation have to be to do something like this?

That would be just as foolish as making my music unusable on the PC...
Okay, Let's assume that Apple is indeed THAT foolish.......How does one get the photos from the phone to the PC and still use them?

The photos are still on your phone, and if enabled in your Photo Stream. They are not automatically transferred to your computer when syncing.

  • I have over 19,000 pics on my Mac. Only 4,000 are showing up in the cloud. How do I get all of my pics on the cloud? I have purchased the storage

I have merged my iPhoto and Photo app. I have over 19,000 pics on my Mac but only 4,000 are showing up in the cloud. I added some pictures yesterday to my Mac that I had taken, but they do not show up on any of my other devices. What is wrong?

Were you perhaps using a mix of "managed" photos (copied into your iPhoto library) and "referenced" photos (kept only external to your library)? Only "managed" are eligible to be in iClout Photo Library.

Did you add them to your iPhoto library (using iPhoto) or your Photos library (using the new Photos application)? If with the Photos app, did you have the "Copy items to the Photos library" option checked in Photos > Preferences > General?
