Where are my gradient presets in photoshop cc?

This is what comes up. Where are my presets? do I need to re-download the program? I had the trial version and just payed for my CC membership so do i need to do something to get the full version?

The Gradient menu in the tool options bar for Shapes doesn't have a list of the installed gradient presets.
You can use either the Load Gradients or Replace Gradients and then in the Windows Explorer dialog navigate to
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Presets\Gradients

  • Where are actions stored locally for Photoshop CC on a Mac (OS 10.9)?

I've looked everywhere (on my start-up hard drive) and can't locate where Photoshop CC keeps actions locally. Even if I'm syncing to Adobe Cloud service, I assume there has to be a local version somewhere.

Well, funny you should mention that...
What got me started on this time-suck of a quest is looking into this folder:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC/Presets/Actions
and discovering there were no actions to be found there! So, in my WTF moment, I went, where are my actions? Why is the Actions folder in my home library empty? That's not cool. (More importantly, will the little darlings survive the transition to CC 2014?) I could see them in the Actions palette, so, whew, they're still in tact, but that's what got me asking, Where are they? (Note that I use the tilde for "/User/[user name]" as a shortcut.)
The other thing that threw me was this:
The default actions with their .atn extension are living out in the open for all to see in
    /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC/Presets/Actions
So, not only did it seem like actions were still alive and well living as separate, .atn files, but that my own actions were intentionally being hidden for some reason.
So, R_Kelly, I'll be curious, once I do the big install of CC 2014, if actions end up where you said to look because that would actually be a big change.
It does seem like they are living in
    ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CC Settings/Actions palette.psp
because I made up some actions, synced up to the ol' cloud in the sky, and they came down to my other computer, so apparently that's how it works.

  • Where are Epson printer presets stored?

During my upgrade to Yosemite 10.10.3 and while trying to get my Epson 3880 to be recognized and running, I seem to have trashed all my printer presets! I can probably restore them from Time Machine, but I don't know where to look. Where are the presets stored?

    I thank you all.
    I found it.
    It´s the c:\users\....\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\.....\Effect Presets and Custom Items.prfpset file.

  • Where are printer driver presets stored in Mac OS X 10.5?

I just bought a new Mac Pro and will be manually migrating files from my G5 PPC. I have several printer presets for three different printers, and I'd really hate to lose them. Where are they stored? I want to make sure I drag them over to the new MP.
    Thanks.

They are in your home directory's Preferences folder:
    /<home>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.print.custompresets.plist
    Hope this helps.

  • Where are the effects presets stored?

Does anyone know in which folder on the hard drive are stored the presets we create with the effect parameters in Premiere Pro?
I ask because I have created several presets and I would like to retrieve them and not have to do all over again everytime I have to reinstal in another computer.
    Thanks.

    I thank you all.
    I found it.

  • Where are the Gradient color presets in CS6?

    Hi,
I've gone from CS4 to CS6 and when using the Gradient tool, there used to be a properties box that you could open with a whole list of preset color gradients to choose from, i used to use the 'Black - White' one all the time, which kinda blurred the edges, made a transparent gradient and allowed, for want of a better word, montages to be created easily, but now this function seems to have gone. Is it hiding somewhere that I don't know about? Or alternatively, can someone advise me on how to get the same effect that the Black White Preset used to give me?
    Thanks a lot
    Jules

Yeah, those gradients are gone in CS6. On the one hand, most of them were pretty cheesy; on the other hand, it's a bit surprising they took away those presets but still didn't offer users a simple way to save gradients.
One way that you can save gradients is as Styles. As an experiment, I actually did this one day for the classic Fireworks gradients. Once created, styles can be saved as a library, where you can call on them from within any FW document.
Another way to quickly create a black and white gradient is by setting the fill and/or stroke colors, which are the basis of gradients. You can reset the default fill and stroke colors within the Tools panel. However, this can be tricky, at times, depending on what objects are selected and what type of fill they already have; it can be easy to accidentally apply a stroke to an object this way. Alternatively, if Stroke is set to None, then setting Fill to Black will result in a black and white gradient when you switch to a gradient Fill type.

  • Where are the Printing Presets in Acrobat located on Mac?

I have just upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.3 from Snow Leopard 10.6.8. All of my applications seem to be working fine, however my printing presets in Acrobat Pro X 10.1.13 are missing. Can I restore them from a Time Machine backup and if so where would they located? There seem to be a number of Library files related to Acrobat, but I'm not sure which ones contain the printing presets. I'm printing to an Epson Stylus Pro 3880. I don't want to have to re-create all the printing presets for that machine if I don't have to. I'm hoping someone can give me some advice on how to restore my much needed presets.

    Kelvin:
Did you save the presets and give them a unique name so they could be selected at a later time?
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Where Are the Printing Presets?

I've got several printing presets created. I select a photo and click the print icon. In the print dialog that appears there is a Printer drop down menu and Presets drop down menu. Despite having several presets only Standard is in the drop down menu. When I click on Print the next print dialog appears and I can choose the presets from that drop down menu.
What's the use for the preset drop down menu in the main print dialog? Is this caused by the Epson driver. I'm using an R200.
    Thanks
    Kelvin

  • Where are output module presets physically stored?

I have a broken XP installation that is not fixable but the drive is accesible from my other Windows installation.
Before I broke XP I deactivated my CS3 and now I have it installed and activated in Windows 7.
Now I am really missing all my output module presets. I can import them, but then I should have exported them first, which is not an option.
The AppData folder is really full of stuff
Here are some other important folders when migrating. In this case D: is the old installation drive:
    D:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3\Support Files\Scripts\
    D:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3\Support Files\Templates\
    D:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Adobe\After Effects\8.0\
    Media Encoder presets:
    D:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Adobe\After Effects\8.0\MediaIO\Presets
But hey no Output Modules in there..

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.
I think you misunderstood me though. There was nothing wrong with the Adobe installation. It was my operating system that I broke. Sort of on purpose. I just assumed I could get my settings back the good old manual way instead of using the program. And I was right for the most part. Don't worry, I know what I am doing. I just didn't know the output module presets weren't stored in either the application folder or the AppData folder.
So what I need to know is where those presets are physically stored so I can get them back too.
Oh I hope it's not the registry. That's the one thing I cannot touch. But then again why would it be in the registry when everything else is stored in files and AE is portable to OSX anyway and they don't have a registry.

  • Where Are The Custom Preset Files Stored?

I deleted FCS 2 before installing FCS 3 and unfortunately all of my custom presets in Compressor were lost.
I have got Time Machine with the old Compressor but I don't know where the old preset files are stored.
Ideally I would like to copy them to the new version as re-writing them will be a pain, assuming I can still remember what they were!

    Ian,
Now aren't you glad you went to the trouble of setting up Time Machine?

  • Where are the  FileInfo panels for Photoshop CC?

I need to install a custom one that is working for CS5 and CS6, so that it can be seen and used in CC.
But I don't know where to put it?  (on the Mac)
    for CS5 it goes here:
    Main 3.0: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/XMP/Custom File Info Panels/3.0/panels/
    User 3.0: /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/XMP/Custom File Info Panels/3.0/panels
    for CS6 it goes here:
    Main 4.0: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/XMP/Custom File Info Panels/4.0/panels/
    User 4.0: /Users/[userName]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/XMP/Custom File Info Panels/4.0/panels
    for CC it goes....   ??

If you are planing to install custom panels the user folder has not changed.
    On mac:
    /Users/[userName]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/XMP/Custom File Info Panels/4.0/
For custom panels we highly recommend to not use the path to the "standard panels" installed by the application.

  • Where are my "Capture Presets"

My FC Express has stopped recognizing my Canon XM1, and it tells to modify my capture presets and for the life of me I can't find them anywhere. I know the answer will be extremely simple but until then I'm extremely frustrated
    Peter

Presets are all in easy setup under the FCE menu.

  • Where are my title presets?

Well, actually I know they are on the hard drive, I found them. I can import them individually into my project from the hard drive. Why don't they show up as options in the titler where I can pick & choose?
    CS4/mac

OK. Have no idea. Did you try one off these options.
Have you installed the latest update?
