Where are my movies?  Or, is this working right?

Hello,
I have 150 movies that I have purchased -- when I go to the iTunes Store and click on Purchased Movies, they appear.  However, when I click on my iTunes (11.0.1(12)) Library => Movies, I see only the movies that I have downloaded -- 18 of them.
I have the "Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases" checked in iTunes Store Preferences, so shouldn't I be able to see the other 132 of them?
Thanks for any insights,
M.

    Hi
You can make the price of a variant dependent on the characteristic values assigned (Pricing). You can use
variant conditions to define surcharges and discounts for a variant
    Variant u2013Pricing steps
    Create condition record
create a procedure where you enter the reference from the characteristic
Assign the procedures to either the characteristic values
configure the material in the sales order
The net price for the material is displayed
If a value that triggers a variant condition is selected when configuring a material in a sales order, the price of the material displayed under Net value is automatically increased or reduced.
In addition, the Conditions pushbutton is displayed.
    On pressing this pushbutton,

They should be in the Videos app :
If they aren't in there then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ?

    Hi,
As an HPCI I found the old ITRC forum very useful.

    Will this be rectified...?

I lost all of my contact with yesterdays update.  Where are they and why did this happen?

What update? There was nothing released yesterday relating to iCloud.
Where have you lost your contacts from? Your computer, your phone, iCloud.com?
If they are no longer in any of those places, you'll need to restore them from your most recent backup.

  • I finalized my iMovie project. Where are the .mov files? (1080,mov, 720.mov, etc.)

Hi everyone I'm an iMovie newbie,
I finalized my iMovie project. I am using iMovie 9.0.9 by the way. I can't seem to locate the movie files when I go to upload my video to YouTube. I also noticed that the files for my previous videos are gone as well. For now, I'm exporting using QuickTime, but that is taking way too much time and I have never had to do this before. I waited an hour for my project to finalize, where are the files? Where can I find them?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi JBK
*Huge thanks for this* - the link proved very useful. I tried the MPEG STREAMCLIP option and like yourself exported to QuickTime/Apple Intermediate Codex @ 100% quality (you can also export in DV mode with much the same results) - it worked fine but file sizes trebled and quality reduced (you can also. As you say its also a pain to have to go though another process. To be able to do it inside imove is a much better option (thanks to tjworld for that, who would have thought of doing that!!!) Surely this will be something Apple have to sort out in the next upgrade. So pleased that I can continue using the Zi6 as it's a really smart little camera - even though mine is pink one (the camera that is!) This is the first time I've used a discussion stream so thanks again all for the help

  • Where are icloud movies in the iTunes library?

I am currently running iTunes 11.0.1. Once I updated to iTunes 11.0.1. I was able to see all the movies, from the iTunes library, on my harddrive as well as in icloud, with the iCloud symbol shadowed. Now when I open my iTunes library, the only the movies that I see are the movies on my harddrive. The only way that I see them are in the purchased section of iTunes store. I feel like this is something simple that I am missing, can anyone help?
    Thanks!

Hi A Hanwell, thanks for that. That didn't work. When I click on View Options while in the movie , the only thing see is is the sort feature. To help elaborate, the iCloud icon on the top right side of the iTunes doesn't show anymore whether it is in the music, movie etc...

  • HT3209 Where are the movies I downloaded

I purchased movies on iTunes but cannot find them to play back.  Where are they?

Depending upon what country that you are in you may be able to re-download them on the iPad via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app (re-downloading isn't possible in all countries), If you can't then you will need to sync them over to the iPad - connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar (if you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you can enable the sidebar via control-S on a PC), and then use the Movies tab on the right-hand side of iTunes to select and sync them to the iPad's Videos app

  • Where are the Movie Rentals??

I see promotions that say there are over 1000 movies to rent.
When doing the "Power" search and click on to Movie available for rent, I only get 150 movies. It has been that way since the Keynote in January.
If there are 1000 movies for rent, where are they?

Movie Rentals??!?!?!?! Apple has movie rentals???!?!!!? BAH!!!!
renting movies/games just isn't my style. i guess it's a good commercial move for them. though with the prices Apple charges for their products, i really don't see how they needed to upgrade to that format for profitability...
will the DL's of Rental/Purchase have all the Extras DVD's will have? that's what i require....anyone see it?

  • Where are shared movies (to MobileMe) stored?

Hello - just a quick question. When I share a movie to MobileMe, does it make and keep a copy of the movie file on my hard drive (so that I could access by just playing the file)? Or does it just create a temporary copy, upload it, then delete it off my drive? Does anyone know?
    Thanks!

When I share a movie to MobileMe, does it make and keep a copy of the movie file on my hard drive (so that I could access by just playing the file)? Or does it just create a temporary copy, upload it, then delete it off my drive?
Yes and no. Options like "Share to iTunes" or "Share to Gallery" create a "Media Browser" copy that is stored in the "Moves" folder of the named_Project package, as well as, sending a copy to the specified destination. However, "Media Browser" copies are automatically deleted if the iMovie '08 project is later altered or modified. Such modifications to the iMovie project do not affect the "published" files to iTunes or Gallery -- i.e., they are not automatically updated, so a warning (the yellow triangle with the exclamation mark in it) is displayed to remind you of the changes to allow you to make manual updates if desired. In addition, the "Share to iTunes" option also creates an iTunes "shared' copy in the event that a user has iTunes set to not copy imports physically to the library. This copy is not automatically deleted. So the question as to where or not a "copy" is temporary or permanent depends on your specific work flow.

  • Where are all the illustrations in this EPUB ebook? (HTML version has them)

I hope someone can help me with this: Using my iPad (and iBooks), I downloaded a fabulous free EPUB-version of an ebook from Gutenberg.org, "Manners, Customs, and Dress During the Middle Ages and During the Renaissance Period" (etext # 10940). Except for the first few illustrations, which do display, the other hundreds and hundreds of terrific Renaissance-era woodcuts do NOT show up in the EPUB version. But when I used my iMac to click on the HTML version at the Gutenberg.org site, all the marvelous illustrations ARE there. Is this problem unique to me? Or is it an EPUB vs. HTML problem? Or something else?

I downloaded and unzipped the 32 MB file: it makes a folder containing a 1 MB htm file, and a sub-folder filled with hundreds of images in the png format.
Not sure if you are referring to a download of a compressed HTML file or an ePUB file here. Basically, an ePUB file is an HTML/XHTML compressed file. Haven't actually opened the latter to check on hit differs from the former.
Is there any way to convert this to one EPUB ebook?
As you indicated Calibre is one free option. My problem with Calibre is getting the format to come out as I would like it to. There are also potential problems depending on the type of encoding use. Sigil is a second free option. However, this app was completely re-done recently, now has many new things added to the graphic interface, and I have yet to read the manual to see how these changes affect the working of the application. Basically this an editor application that allows you to load an HTML/XHTML/ePUB file and edit it to include chapter breaks, insertion of images, deciding what to include in the TOC, metadata editing. I have used older versions to remove the Project Gutenberg errata and license and am anxious to see what the latest update can do. It somewhat slow but being both an editor and ePUB generator, seems to be of more use then eCub which is basically a free ePUB builder. From here you would probably have to movie into the realm of commercial applications. Adobe InDesign is probably the most professional application currently available but I am having problems with the learning curve and will probably have to review the ePUB process to locate specific areas which are currently giving me headaches when export books consisting of more than one InDesign document (usually representing the individual chapters) within the book.
Is there any way to convert this to one EPUB ebook?
Not sure what you are asking here. Before going to the hospital, the only method I tested was the reading of the HTML file online using the Safari app. Unfortunately, that means you have to be connected to the internet any time you want to do your reading and most users probably want the file physically stored on their iPad. Also not sure what you mean by "one ePUB book." Conversion methods were covered in paragraph above.
Is there any way to convert this to one EPUB ebook?
Thank you. It has been 40 years since I was last in the hospital for a broken leg (motorcycle accident), so this is something new for me. Was amazed that the procedure for removing the tumor robotically only required a 24-hour stay in the hospital.
Perhaps they are going through and cleaning up and reconverting some of their older files?
I assumed there was some sort revision process in place as I noted more than one version of a particular file available -- sometimes with Gutenberg dates years apart. Based on this, it is conceivable that they are revising an imaged update which may appear as a separate HTML page listing. (FYI, also noted that only chapters 1 and 12 showed up in the default TOC, so yes, there appear to be a number of things requiring revision.
Stanza didn't help here, so I thought I might see if I could get Calibre to open the whole huge html+image folder, and then export as EPUB. However, even with the latest version of Calibre, it crashes immediately every time I open it... Any suggestions?
Are you saying you tried to import the unzipped file+image folder into Calibre? If so, i believe that was your mistake. If I remember correctly Calibre only accepts the files in their zipped form. Try re-zipping the unzipped folder using the Finder menu "File: Compress" option. Calibre should then be able to load the file into the main window without crashing.
My iMac is up to date with Snow Leopard and the latest version of Calibre is supposed to work with Snow Leopard, so I don't know what the problem is or what to do about it.
Just an FYI... Latest version is dated yesterday (21 May 2010). You may want to update it before retesting your HTML file import work flow as the new version strips ligatures which can create problems with some readers. Best of luck...

  • Where are the movies on my phone?

    Hi,
I am trying to find and then delete video content from my phone. In iTunes I choose the "Info" tab for my phone and it lists video content of 348.5 MB. I can't find any video on the phone...where would I look for it? And, once I find it, how do I delete it?
    Patrick

    You're welcome.
I do have the "manually manage music and videos" selected, but I made that selection just a short time before posting the first message on this thread in case that matters.
Then your iPhone should have been completely erased of all music and videos after selecting this with a warning message provided. You can sync music and videos, or manually manage music and videos. You can't do both at the same time and when switching from one to the other, all music and videos will be erased from your iPhone first or should be.
You don't need to delete these music videos from your iTunes library unless you want to. I have much more content available in my iTunes library that can fit on my iPhone and if I want to remove some iTunes content from my iPhone, I don't need to delete it from my iTunes library.
If you are now manually managing music and videos, you can manually remove this music video from your iPhone. This is what manually managing music and videos means and requires. If you are syncing music and you have sync only checked songs and video selected under the Summary tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, simply uncheck the music video in your iTunes library followed by a sync, unless you want to permanently delete the music video from your iTunes library and computer.

  • Where are my movies!?

    Hello,
I like to keep as much data as possible off my MacBook Air and onto my server.  When I click on the "Apple" in the top left, then "About This Mac" followed by "More Info" and lastly, "Storage" my MacBook Air tells me I have 7GB of Movies on my hard disk yet I shouldn't have any.  I looked all over Finder and throughout my entire computer and have yet to find a video file of any kind.  Am I missing something?  It also says I have 29GB of just apps...could this include the apps on my iphone/ipad?  I only have about 40-50 in total
    Any feedback is appreciated.  Thanks.

The app icons in your Applications folder are a special kind of folder and often contain lots of resources which can include pictures, sounds, and animations. Spotlight can look inside those packages and find the resources inside. Like you, I have no movies on my internal hard drive - but I do have two games which include cut-scenes which is part of the reason why Spotlight indicates that I have 2+ GB of movies.
