Where are my notes after IOS5 updating?

I just updated me iphone 4 to IOS5, and lost all my notes from 2011. I synced the phone prior but can't find them. Any ideas? Thanks.

Notes are like contacts. They don't live in iTunes. They would be syncing to Mail on a Mac or Outlook on a PC. I sync with a Mac, so I don't know off hand if there is another supported application for notes on the PC. Look at the info tab in iTunes. See what your options are. That will at least tell you where you can look, although if you never set them up to sync, they may be gone.
At least going forward you can sync them with iCloud.

I've done a back up (choosing "Notes" in the options) of my Nokia N70 with Nokia PC Suit 7 to Upload the phone. After it, I put the back up inside the phone again and everything is right but there ARE NO NOTES!!
They were really important for me... Is it possible to find my Notes again??

Have I lost my documents after the most recent update? i was writing a book!!!!!! Help!!

Which "update" do you mean?
An update won't do anything with your files.
If by "update" you mean you upgraded to Mavericks from another OS, then I have seen that some people create a new user account in the Setup Assistant. When they finish with the setup, they are logged into the new account, which is completely empty as a new account should be. If this is what you did, log out (Apple Menu) and then log in as your old user.

Where are sticky notes after installing OS 8?

I just installed Mountain Lion (over Snow Leopard). Now I can't find my Stickies (the notes, not the app). Can anyone help?

After ios5 update, I am not getting any sound when I play music.

After ios5 update, I am not getting any sound when I play music (iphone speakers or headphones). I get sound from games, previewing songs in iTunes, etc. Any idea why? I've resynced and shut down my phone and that didnt help.

is that when you want to play music over the air (airplay) like BT headset or something?
because i am facing the below issue in my car.
the phone minimizes the volume of airplay and the ringing to 0 when connecting to a device (BT headset or car kit)
upon disconnecting, the ringing tone remains 0 and i miss all or most of my calls.

Apps are missing after ios5 update

after ios5 update on ipad2 all my apps are missing, how do i get them back?

Disconnected from what? the computer? Did you connect to the computer again, launch iTunes and then do as I described above?
You have selected all of the apps to sync - put checkmarks in all of the boxes next to the app names and have the Sync Apps heading checked as well?
Do you have restrictions set on the iPad? Settings>General>Restrictions>On?
Are you signed into the correct iTunes account on the iPad and the computer?

Music will not play after ios5 update, it still appears there but will not play...if I select a song, it jumps to another song but will not play anything. Also, if I try to play any of the files on the phone from iTunes they won't play either...help!!

After ios5 update, iCal week view Oct 2-8 has 2 Saturdays?

Is anyone else having problems with iCal week view on iPad after ios5 update?
Two major changes have occurred...
1. Week view used to start on Monday, now Sunday (and can't change it back).
2. If you look at the week October 2-8, 2011 there are 2 Saturdays and no Friday or following Saturday...
Any ideas? Is this a wait for ios5.1 issue?

If you are using a Mac, go to Settings>Software Update ... check for any updates, and update all.
Chances are you are not using iTunes 10.5, which is required to sync iOS 5.
If youare using a PC, suggest you uninstall your iTunes, download fresh iTunes 10.5 from Apple.com/itunes and install it.

- The iTunes backup that iTunes makes included photos in the camera roll. If yo go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices what is the date of the backup? Is it when the photos were on the iPod? You have to restore from that backup.
- What may have happened is that you backup the iPod after you restored the iPod but before restoring from backup. iTunes only keeps one backup and overwrites the previous backup with the changes.

\Based on other forum users' posts, it seems like all you need to do is Restore the phone from your latest backup, and that should "refresh" your phone's appraisal of its data storage.

Calendar is not synching after ios5 update

I use the iphone configuration utility to transfer settings to blank/new iphones (i'm an administrator) and this is how I apply our calendar settings including server paths etc to synchronise the calendar over the internet. Since updating to ios5 this has not worked and, in most cases, the calendar has just gone. Reinstalling the settings has not helped and it still refuses tow ork, if it makes a difference we are currently using SOGo as the calendar server program.

So I updated to iOS 5 and now most of my music is in grey and I am not able to listen to it. Its confusing as half of an album is listenable and the other half is not. Also, I have lost all my album covers. I have tried syncing numerous times and know the songs in question are added on my iphone playlist. It worked perfectly before this uddate....

I have had a similar hiccups with my 3G ipod touch 64gb after updating it with the new iOS 5. While syncing in iTunes on my MacBook, the storage bar on the bottom will show that most of the space is taken up with my songs that I want synced from iTunes but when I go to use the iPod touch after ejecting it from the MacBook the songs are listed in a ghost like consistency but the actual files are not there and I can't get any response when I touch the song title or album that I want played. In fact, when looking at the "About" inquiry screen within the Settings on the ipod touch, it shows that most all of my space is unused. Where are the phantom files, and why doesn't a synch work as smoothly as before? Conversely, my 4G ipod touch works flawlessly, so far, with the new iOS 5. I am afraid that the new iOS 5 isn't ready for prime time when it comes to the 3G ipod touches. Have any others had a similar problem when it comes to synching music, which used to sync flawlessly without problems, to their 3G ipod touches with the new iOS 5 upgrade?
