Where are my pictures?

I had the iphone 3G and then got the iphone 4. i synced my iphone 4 with my computer and it has been working just fine with everything uploaded properly for the past month. iphone os 4.0.1 downloaded to my phone and screwed up phone. just went to apple store and got a new phone for free because the old one was dead. i come home and everything uploads just fine until i see that my pictures are no where to be found. anyone know where they are and how i can get them back onto my phone?

windows xp pro
latest itunes
os 4.0.1

Do you mean pictures from your camera roll or pictures synced from your computer?
Pictures on your camera roll are stored in iPhone backups. On iTunes on your computer, go to Edit > Preferences > Devices to see a list of backups. To restore your camera roll, restore your iPhone from a backup that was last synced during a time when you had the pictures.

  • Where are the pictures found in the Adobe Photoshop 10 organizer?

Nov. 29, I had my computer repaired from a trojan, & I figured out that everything i've done since Sept. 13th was gone because when the computer guy was fixing it, he tried to put in the new MicroSD card reader, but he had to put an old one back in (from Sept.) as the new one had wrong connections.
Then, when he started the PC he only had the C drive (& my documents and pictures are on the A drive). He turned it off and realized he accidentally disconnected one of the mirror hard drives for Drive A. He had to turn it off and open it again and reconnect the cable that was disconnected.
During that moment perhaps a line in the drive had become corrupted. So, I restored through Carbonite, hoping I'd get back almost everything (or at least whatever was done being backed up). However, I lost quite a few pictures.
Tuesday, however, I noticed that the pictures I lost were imported into the organizer for Adobe Photoshop 10, which is on the C drive, so I'm hoping the pictures are still there, even if they are thumbnails (I assume they would be)! But where are the pictures found in the Adobe Photoshop 10 organizer? I assume in a folder somewhere? Am I able to copy them? (A low quality image, is better than no image!)

The thumbnail cache is separate and lives in the system files.
You could try a new catalog - it doesn’t involve any duplication.
    Click: File >> Catalog
    Click the New button
Give your catalog a name e.g. My Catalog2 (or whatever you prefer)
Check the box Import Free Music - that will bring in the Adobe MP3 tracks used in slideshows
    Then click OK
When the new blank catalog opens click: File >> Get Photos and Videos >> From Files & Folders
Navigate to your root folder (normally Pictures or My Pictures or wherever you put your photos) then press Ctrl+A to select all sub folders or make sure the checkbox is marked.
    Click Open or Get Media
Wait for Elements to complete the import, accept all keyword suggestions (select all) and then wait for thumbnails to finish generating.
N.B. You may not get all the metadata (keywords etc) but in view of the problems you have had it may be your best hope.

  • HT5622 Some pictures in my iCloud show up blank on my ipad.... But it says I have zero pics on my iPhone... Where are my pictures?

Some pictures in my iCloud show up blank on my ipad.... But it says I have zero pics on my iPhone... Where are my pictures?

Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there (subject to a 1,000 photo limit) until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.
The problem I see is that the photos aren't on your phone and you won't be able to get them from the cloud because they are over 30 days old.
As for your iPad it sounds like they might be there, but you have encountered some sort of corruption. The problem is you can't turn photo stream off and on again to reset it, because you would lose what ever you have (even though they are corrupt) and they can't be recovered from the cloud.
The only suggestion I have is to try restarting the iPad.

But when I go to System/Library/Screensaver, I don't see a folder named "National Geographic". And I searched all the pictures in the Screensaver folder, I didn't found any pictures which are displayed in sreensave mode. Can anybody know where are those pictures saved?

  • HT204053 Where are my pictures on ICLOUD???

so, when i open icloud, there are contacts and find my phone and iwork and WHERE ARE MY PICTURES???

The only pictures currently stored in iCloud are in Photo Stream, accessible from Photos on the iPhone, or iPhoto on a Mac.

  • HT5824 Where are my pictures on icloud?

Where are my pictures on my cloud?

You can't veiw photo stream photos on icloud.com if that's where you are looking.  You can only see them on iOS devices/computers that are signed into your account with my photo stream enabled.
If you want to see them on the web, add them to a shared stream with the public website option enabled (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99).  This will give you a private url to view them on the web from your computer browser.

  • Around the web where are there pictures of how you insert a disc?...

Around the web where are there pictures of how you insert a disc?... into a 27 inch iMac 3.2GHz Intel Core i3

I can see this happening sometimes. Especially if someone is mainly used to working with power macs; most of which have a dvd tray/s as opposed to slot loading mac computers.
@ Bengt Wärleby .... good point regarding the use of mini dvd's most of which can easily be used with modern burners and dvd-rom drives that use a tray.
Slot loading macs work well with a full size / standard dvd or CD only.

  • HT4528 where are my pictures in the cloud how do i get them back

how to get pictures back on my iphone 5 where are they

If you setup iCloud and turned Photo Stream on, you can view them on other devices that have Photo Stream enabled.
See this Apple doc for more info -> iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
When do photos upload to My Photo Stream?
When you enable My Photo Stream on your devices, all new photos you take or import to those devices will be automatically added to your photo stream.
On an iOS device, new photos you take will be automatically uploaded to your photo stream when you leave the Camera app and are connected to Wi-Fi. Note: My Photo Stream does not push photos over cellular connections.
On your Mac, any new photos you import to iPhoto or Aperture will begin uploading automatically when you have a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. Or, you can change your iPhoto or Aperture preferences so that only photos you manually add to My Photo Stream are uploaded.
On a PC with iCloud Control Panel 2.0 or later, open a Windows Explorer window. Select Photo Stream under Favorites. Open My Photo Stream. Click the "Add photos" button. Select photos to import to My Photo Stream, and then click Open.
You can get them to reappear on your iPhone by restoring it from backup or by re-enabling iCloud and the Photo Stream.

  • Iphoto where are my pictures

where are my pctures? i imported from iphone. i see no folder called iphoto library in (can't)finder, and i want to copy these photos onto a thumb drive.

You should never go directly into the iPhoto library for any reason. There is no reason to and it is dangerous
To put photos on a thumb drive launch iPhoto and export them to a desktop folder, mount the thumb drive and drag the folder to it

  • Where are my pictures in Photo Stream?

My Photo Stream that's been pretty reliable until I got a new pc just decided to lose all of my pictures from over the years. New pictures still go there and I can see those, but all my old ones are gone now, why?Where did they go and can I get them back? I've looked at several of the help articles, but they mostly just say to check internet connection. My internet connection seems fine and I really don't think that's the problem, becuase it never has been before. When I synced my phone to my new pc, it temporarily erased my contacts and notes, etc., could that be the cause? Please tell me its only temporary, and if someone could help me get those pictures back, I'd be extremely greatful. Apple products are hard for me to navigate and very user unfriendly in my opinion, so if anyone could help, every detail would be appreciated.

As far as restoring goes, you will have to check itunes restore from a backup, or have imported them somewhere else.

  • Where are my pictures after editing in LR?

I just downloaded the free trial this morning and plan on buying right away...I love Lightroom! I edited some pics then saved them as Jpeg 2000 files. When I'm trying to upload onto Facebook the pictures are no where to be found w/in My Pictures. Should I have the left the files as Tiff? I'm so confused this seemed so simple in PSE6. I can open up LR and there they are...is there an easier way to save them, or create a folder?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Jessica

    Jessica-
Try again, but start with creating a folder in a spot you can get to easily. Then run Export to JPEGs in sRBG format, about 800 X800. You can create and save an Export setting so you have to do this only once. Once you've done it, it'll be very easy the next times.

  • Where are my pictures in the backup made by Time Machine?

In the Finder I can find my pictures after right-clicking IPhoto and then under Originals. But when I open Time Machine and want to check if my data have been backuped correctly I can find my music and documents but not my Pictures. Where can I find them?

where is the Time Machine forum?
    http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1342
So I need to find my pictures in Time MAchine. But where oh where?
those back ups are not designed to be surfed via the Finder.
To restore using TM open TM in the dock - this gives you a finder view of your backup files and go back in time to the time you want to restore - select the iPhoto library and click restore - choose to keep both files and restore to a different location so as not to overwrite your current iPhoto library
You can also browse and restore individual photos in iPhoto using the file menu ==> browse backups
You can not do it except by using TM either directly or via iPhoto
