Where are my podcasts????

I just installed the new itunes 7.0 and now all the podcasts i had saved in my library have vanished. I know they are somewhere because i have some in my playlists, but i used to look in my music library for all of them, but now they are not listed. I look in the podcasts menu and see the shows ready for download, but where do i find the older saved shows list????

I created a Smart Playlist and they are all there. THANK GOD!!!

First of all, you don't need to use CAPS in thread title, as many people will consider this a desperate shout for attention you're not likely to get.
Then, make sure your podcasts are synced with iPod. If they are, podcasts should be available from "Music" menu. If they 're not, browse for sync options in iTunes and make them copy to your iPod. After all, if you subscribed to video podcasts, don't be surprised you can't view them on your Nan for one obvious reason... iPod Nano can't view videos.

Where are the podcasts?

I have an iPod with dock. I loaded a couple of podcasts on it and they show up under music-genre on the iPod itself. However, they don't show up on the iPod in iTunes. I want to manully put on and take off podcasts on the iPod because I have a nano as well. How can I see the iPod's podcasts in iTunes so I can manually delete them from the iPod?
I did reset the iPod. Thanks for your help.

Where are downloaded podcasts stored for viewing?

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm looking for podcasts on my iPad2. I've downloaded several podcasts, but cannot locatethem on th iPad to view them. Do you know how I can find them?

Once again Apple has decided to "upgrade" and change a perfectly serviceable "look" for why Who knows. But My podcasts are not visible nor are any of my other MP3 downloads. Where is the sidebar that allowed me to move around and navigate Itunes.
My playlists are now also missing

Go through each of the sources Music, Movies etc. and select Playlists. Use the ellipsis ... to enable sources. Apps, Tones, and Internet Radio don't have a Playlists button, the others do and remember your selection. Not exactly the same as the old sidebar, but not too different.
If you are really missing content see Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash.

I just transferred all my iPad 1 things to my iPad Air 2 but can't figure out where the Podcasts are.

Where are my podcasts downloaded to?

I have been able to setup a few podcasts and I've even watched some of the files download, however, I can't figure out where my iMac is storing these files. I want to download them to my mp3 player.

Click on the Podcast episode and 'Get Info' (Command-I).
Click on the 'Summary' tab.
Near the bottom of the window you will see where it is located.
Another method is to click on the Podcast episode and choose 'Show in Finder' in the file menu (Command-R). This will directly show the file.
If you don't see the episodes of the Podcast, click on the small triangle left to the name of the Podcast.

Where are the podcast chapter markings?

I like to be able to jump around between chapters while listening to podcasts on my iPod. However, I've noticed that chapters are no longer divided up into separate segments in the timeline bar in my iTunes window or on my iPod (although the various chapters DO still appear in the Chapters menu of iTunes).
Does anyone know why I'm not seeing chapter markings in my timeline bar?

After thinking this through, I do believe that this IS an iTunes issue. The Chapter menu appears while playing Enhanced podcasts in iTunes on my Mac, but the timeline bar is not segmented into chapters. When I sync to my iPod, again (not surprisingly), there is no chapter segmentation in the timeline bar.
This is different that it used to be. I used to get a segmented timeline bar when chapters existed. I've made no hardware changes.
I think if iTunes would supply a segmented timeline bar to my iPod, the iPod would display it. Hence, I feel it is an iTunes issue.

IPod Classic 160 Gb - iTunes is SLOW and where are my Podcasts?

I just upgraded to an iPod Classic 160. I have experienced 2 problems, but not with album art.
First, iTunes is very slow. It seems to freeze for minutes at a time when performing any operations on it.
Secondly, I have a lot of Podcasts - both video and audio.
I can download them with no problem. I can see them in the contents pane in iTunes for my computer. I can play them in iTunes and I can sync them with my new iPod (apparently).
However, they do NOT show up on my iPod. The new contents screen shows No Podcasts. When I do a search for them they show up as songs and I can heard the video podcast soundtracks.
In iTunes with my iPod connected they show up under both the iTunes directory and in the iPod Directory immediately after syncing. However, if I eject and then reconnect the iPod, upon reconnection they no longer show up in iTunes in the iPod directory.
I am assuming this is a bug with either iTunes 7.4.x in the way it categorizes Podcasts or it is an OS issue with the iPod. I have the latest versions of iTunes, the latest SW and Firmware updates for the iPod and have rebooted to assure that the latest versions are the ones running.
Anyone else experience these? Anyone find solutions?

I'm having very similar problems.
In addition to iTunes becoming completely unusable for a few minutes (completely frozen) when I plug in to sync and recharge, the unit itself seems to periodically hang for more than a few seconds as I navigate the menu.
My podcasts disappear from my iPod classic every time I sync, whether or not I listened to them.
Every once in a while it just shuts off and requires a manual restart to come back on.
The battery seems to drain far faster than what makes sense, and all I do is listen to music. Two hours into my listening time and the battery meter says its almost a quarter drained!
At this point the thing keeps randomly rebooting for no reason when I am using it. Also, as I'm typing this, I heard the click of death from the hard drive.
One thing of note though, I noticed that I had set up LastFM with the thing when I first got it. I doubt it would cause half the issues here, but it is a variable to consider.
I have restored this device three times since it arrived. In addition, I'm finding myself restarting it at least twice if not more per day.
I have put in a request to warranty this thing. This soon after ordering it, and after all the things I've done, my experience screams that this unit is defective. Either that, or Apple is gonna need to issue a recall. I really hope it is just the former.

Where are the podcast show notes in the podcasts app?

I can't find the way (if there is any) to see the show notes of the podcasts I listen to through the ios 7 podcasts app.

Sorry to say - I have the same issue re absence of Folders in Notes on iCloud.com. Keen for a solution because I find myself working in a place with no wifi and no 3G but have a shared windows computer on internet. I really could use Notes in iCloud, but the absence of folders makes this incomplete.

Where are my podcasts after upgrade?

Recently upgraded many items on iPad including iOS5.0.1. I never use iPad for music, but now when download podcast it goes to a playlist that won;t open. What happened to downloading podcasts?

I know my video podcasts went to the video tab.

We're having the same problem actually so I'd be interested to see if there's any reply for this. We submitted ours on Friday night and it's now Sunday and still nothing. We did get an email to say that it had been successfully submitted for review, but that was that. Things do seem slow there anyway, I sent a remove podcast request over a week ago and it only just got removed today.

Hi, I downloaded a podcast but can't seem to find in on my iphone 4, does anybody know how i get into it?

Did you download it directly to your iPhone or did you sync it with iTunes?

Upgraded last night. Tried downloading podcasts last night .. everything seemed to be ok but now i get a white screen that says "canceling sync" when I got to video the screen is black and says "cancelling sync"
got any ideas?

Try restarting your iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
And restart your PC. Then try sync.
