Where are my rentals

, updated to the current version.  Rented movie 1, downloaded and watched.  Rented movie to, exited in the middle and expected to go back to it, but neither it nor movie 1 are up in the top left corner with the 'time to watch' remaining time.   Found movie 2 in the list of movies, tried to rent again (hey only.99) and it told me we had already rented 'DUH'    Said to go and check for rentals in the itunes settings (first time having to do that).    Well, 15 minutes later, "check for rentals" just spins.  Whats up apple?   Too big to fail 'eh?

Exact same issue - have never had to retrieve downloads from "settings".
The whole "rent & watch later" is a huge #fail, and just love how there's no way to apparently get a refund/credit for movies...methodically calculated on their part, ,b,ut I digress.

  • Where are the rentals?

I upgraded my mac to 7.6, but still see no movie rentals in iTunes. I presume that not every movie is a rental, but is there any way to find which ones are?

Can't find them either. They say there are rentals. The help files and website says there are rentals. There are none. I wasted two hours. Mac should be more responsible and respectful with their annoying whimsical announcements.

  • HT1657 Where are my rentals?  And is Netflix gone?

I know I must be doing something stupid, but recently, when I rent a movie (that takes 3 hours to download, might I add), I cannot find them on my Apple t.v.   Once I download the rental, am I supposed to put it somewhere else so they show up along with my purchased movies?
As an aside - is Netflix no longer an option?  If so, how did I miss that information?

They belong in the videos app.
    Have you looked there?

  • ITunes 11: Where are the rentals?

I have a rented a film through the iTunes Store and have watched it on my iPad.  I returned the film from the iPad back to iTunes but cannot find it anywhere.
If I search for the name, it then changes the drop-down list on the left to be 'Rentals' (instead of 'Music', 'Films' etc.) but if I click on the icon, 'Rentals' disappears and I get to see the normal list.
Should rentals be in the library list?

I restared iTunes and now rented shows up on the top row before 'Unwatched'.
Should have remembered that a restart fixes most issues ...

  • Where are the rentals on apple tv?

I rented a movie on my mac and wanted to watch it on my apple tv but can't find it anywhere.  I went to the top movies and clicked on the movie and it said you have already rented this movie do you want to rent it again?  But I can't find it anywhere.

    Never mind it showed up.

  • Where are the Movie Rentals??

I see promotions that say there are over 1000 movies to rent.
When doing the "Power" search and click on to Movie available for rent, I only get 150 movies. It has been that way since the Keynote in January.
If there are 1000 movies for rent, where are they?

Movie Rentals??!?!?!?! Apple has movie rentals???!?!!!? BAH!!!!
renting movies/games just isn't my style. i guess it's a good commercial move for them. though with the prices Apple charges for their products, i really don't see how they needed to upgrade to that format for profitability...
will the DL's of Rental/Purchase have all the Extras DVD's will have? that's what i require....anyone see it?

  • Movie Rentals, Where are the 1000 Rentals?

Still only see 100 Rentals when clicking on "Top Rentals"
and only 150 when doing a "Power Search", where are they all and why so hard to find?

Go the iTunes Store main page, click on the Movies link under the iTunes Store header, then scroll down to the "All Rentals" link under the Categories header.
And yes, the number of movies actually available as of today fall far short of the 1000 estimated to be available when the rentals were announced. Clearly the movie studios haven't been as forthcoming as they initially indicated, or it's taking a lot longer to get the movies processed than Apple anticipated.

  • Where are the .99 cent movie rentals

I have been downloading movies for .99 cents and now they don't show up... So where are they and what's going on? Anyone know?

Ok I guess I should have made it more clear... My issue is on the iTunes store and when you go to rent movies there are no .99cent movies any longer. I have been downloading them to take with me to work when I need something to keep the long days more than boring.
Now there is no link to that section and there is nothing saying anything about the movies not being offers any longer for the .99cents as they have been. I'm all for renting movies and paying for them but when you have redbox for a buck, blockbuster now and who knows next -- I have a limited budget to rent movies or waste. And since I rent a lot of movies it can get expensive. Any ideas where to download movies for .99 cents?

  • I just bought a movie and a season of childrens cartoons they are now gone off my ipad. Where are they and how can I get them back?

I just bought a movie and a season of childrens cartoons they are now gone off my ipad. Where are they and how can I get them back?

Did you download them direct to your IPad or to your computer. If so unless you have synced your iPad with your computer since you downloaded they are still on your Ipad unless you deleted them or if they were rentals the time ran out.
To check on your iPad launch the iPod APP on your Ipad  if a movie listing does not show  then click on the iPad button under your library list column and it should then show your movies etc
Or launch the Video App and look for them there
if you have downloaded them on your computer they will show up in iTunes the cartoons i suspect will show under TV and the Movie under Movies.
A rented item expires 30 days after you rent it or 24 hours after you begin playing it, whichever comes first. Expired rentals are deleted automatically. After you transfer a rental to your iPad etc, it is removed from your iTunes library.
Outright puchases are obviously yours to keep.
    Hope this helps

  • Where are all the Paul Newman Movies

Why is iTines posting some, but not all Paul Newman movies?????
I am looking for Nobody's Fool and The Color of Money!
Where are they and why are they not listed.
    Thx all

Most movie studios are still very reluctant to allow download rental and/or sales of movies. In addition, many contracts with the various people involved with a given movie, particularly older movies, probably don't have provisions to cover alternative methods of distribution such as download sales and so have to be renegotiated, something that's not a quick process.

  • HT1657 Where are the rented movies on iTunes located....I see it on my phone, but can not locate the movie on any other computer.  Thank you!

Where are the rented movies on itunes located?  I see them on my iphone, but I am unable to locate them in my itunes, even via searching the name.  Thank you!

    You cannot.
    from the article you linked:
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer."

  • Rented movies: where are they on my mac?

Where are my rented movies on my mac? Can only find my purchased movies
Where are my rented movies on my mac? I can only find my purchased movies and tv shows. Rented movies are in my account history, so I have definitely rented them
where are my rented movies on my mac? They are in my account history as rented, but i can only find my purchased tv shows, not any rentals

I now think I understand your issue. Did you rent it on your mac or on the Apple TV? If you're trying to find rentals on the mac the sekect the "Movie" tab in the upper left corner. Once there you will see the dropdown for Movies. Selct that and then "Rentals" will show in as an option under the moives tab.

  • IPad 2 Downloads for rented movies - where are they?

I rented a movie on my iPad 2 and under the Video icon, it says that I have rented this movie but it hasn't been downloaded. Go to Downloads to manage your downloads. Where are downloads?

I have the same problem, but there is no " downloads" at the bottom if the iTunes Store screen. There is a button that says purchased, but my rental movie is not in it. I definitely paid for it (I have the receipt). I have tried using search on the ipad, but apparently no such thing as "downloads"? I'm on the latest software too. Any ideas??

  • Pages 08 Template images -where are they saved?

I know Pages 08 does not have clip art but I like many of the pictures on the templates. I want to use some of the template images (like the cat.tiff or frog.tiff) on a blank document. Copying & pasting works but I'd rather be able to see all the template tiffs at once. Where are the template images(tiffs) located on my hard drive. Is there a specific iWork folder I can find them in?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
The images are "buried" in each template which is buried in the Pages application. You can find them by Control- or right-clicking on the Pages application > Show package contents > Contents > Resources > Templates & then the folder for the template category you want. Then Control- or right-clicking on the template icon > Show package contents > Contents where you will find the actual images.
Or you can just copy & paste from an open template.

  • Where are my photos on the PC after sync with an iphone?  I know nobody out there is stupid enough to suggest to me that they are encrypted and inaccessible, right?  Seriously?  How stupid would Apple corporation have to be to do something like this?

Where are my photos on the PC after synching with an iphone?  I know nobody out there is stupid enough to suggest to me that they are encrypted and inaccessible, right?  Seriously?  How stupid would Apple corporation have to be to do something like this? That would be just as foolish as making my music unusable on the PC...
Okay, Let's assume that Apple is indeed THAT foolish.......How does one get the photos from the phone to the PC and still use them?

The photos are still on your phone, and if enabled in your Photo Stream. They are not automatically transferred to your computer when syncing.
