Where are the downloads kept ?

Hi
I'm using the N700 & did a few downloads from the Nokia Store , it installed inself after downloaded but where is it kept ? I just can't find it . I mean if there's a need to reinstall , where can I find it or do I have to download all over again ?

Hello kiasuteo, if you download apps from store they will be directly installed to your device and if in any case you remove the apps then the only option is to download that again from store.

I have no DVD drive on my computer. Where are the downloads located?

I received discs for Photoshop elements & premier elements 12 with my new camera but my computer doesn't have a DVD drive. I assumed it would be no big deal to download them from the Internet...wrong. .I have serial numbers to install Photoshop but I cannot find where the downloads are located. I find plenty of "trial" downloads but I should not have to pay for a product I already have. Can anyone help me out there in cyber-land? I downloaded the assistant and nothing happened. I went to the site you so kindly suggested and started the download, and when I tried to apply it to the computer it said elements were missing. I deleted the download and then started again. Right now it is once again downloading the assistant.

What was the problem...the length of time for the download or just getting any download at all?
If necessary, I will go step by step with you through the tryout download from Adobe. But, the purchase of a USB external DVD/CD burner for your computer is a good idea and investment.
If you do the shopping for this, check out how many connections are necessary for it to the computer....none, one, or two...check out the length of the USB cable.
Please let us know how we can help. But, your mentioned place of purchase has a squad who should be able to help your with the purchase.

Where are the downloads for GT70 Dominator (GTX 970M)?

I've looked very hard but I just can't seem to find where the downloads are for the GT70 (GTX 970M), also known as GT70-2QD. I've even registered my product but it doesn't change anything.
GT60 (GTX 970M) seems to suffer the same problem.
On the other hand, GT72 (GTX 970M) has the downloads but I'm not sure if I can use them (BIOS, Drivers etc).
Any help would be much appreciated :cool:

since when i search on model you gave the first link i get goes to this

Where are the downloaded files saved in Firefox Andriod App?

I have downloaded quite a few PDF files throught firefox app but now I can't find where they are please help.

Firefox does not use the native Android download manger. It uses its own. The download folder is /sdcard/download/.

Where are the Download Excel Files going?

Safari 6 seems to download Excel files as requested from a web site but they do not appear anywhere in the Download Folder I have specified. The site successfully downloaded the files before I upgraded to Safari 6. I now have to switch to Firefox to download these files. Where are they going?

E61 - where are the notes kept?

Hi,
simple question: Where are notes (in *.txt format) kept on the E61? I would like to synchronize one of them with my laptop, but I couldn´t find them using the "Nokia Phone Browser" that pops up in my Explorer once I have connected via USB.

Where are the downloaded files? Project is not showing up in the programs area of Windows 8.1

I downloaded the Project files. Now it doesn't show up in the programs area. What happened to it? The files did download completely - it took a while! Assistance is greatly appreciated!

The default location for download in Windows 8.1 is the DOwnloads library, unless you changed it. from start screen, type downloads and see if you can find your files there. You will only see it in programs, after you have INSTALLED it.

Where are the downloaded guitar lessons located on my MBP

I have just started downloading the lessons in Garage Band
I would like to know where the 500mg files are stored to backup/or delete if need be.

The lessons are stored in the Library:
/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Learn to Play/
To open the folder quickly, use the Finder's "Go" menu:
Go > Go to Folder
and enter
/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Learn to Play/
into the text field.
If think you might want the lessons later, keep a backup. The lessons are not always available from the Store. Quite a few posters here had problems to download them again.

Where are Mail downloads kept?

Did a fresh install on a new Pro and not carry any problems forward. I can't seem to locate the "Mail Downloads" folder on ML, as I moved from 10.6.X, and it was in the user library.
I am trying to get back all the Mail attachements pre move that are no loger available. Where do I find the dowloads for mail in 6.2?

The Mail Downloads folder is on ~/Library, being ~ your user folder.
OS X Lion and Mountain Lion have hidden the Library folder of your user folder because of security reasons, so to access to Mail Downloads, open Finder, select Go menu > Go to Folder, and type ~/Library/Mail Downloads.
If you want to show the Library folder on Finder, open Terminal and type:
chflags nohidden ~/Library

Where are the downloaded movie files for iTunes stored?

Im trying to find the files on my time machine to restore some movies I had in Itunes. I can't download them again from itunes for some reason so I am trying to restore the files from the time machine. I need to know where on my mac the movies and tv shows I've downloaded from iTunes are stored on my computer Any help would be greatly apreciated.

They're located inside the Music:iTunes:iTunes Media folder of your home folder unless you told iTunes to look elsewhere for its library.

We really can't know. You have not provided any info on what country/ state/ region you are actually in, what language version and so on. Either way, normally only support can resolve such issues, so contact them by web chat.

Upgrading imovie 9 to 10 - where are the files kept?

I am considering upgrading to iMovie10 and have been reading about users experiences on this forum. One question I ahve not been able to find an answer to is about what actually happens to the video data on upgrade.
I currently have my video event sand projects stored across two places - a) some on my iMac hard drive and b) some on an external Hard Drive. The reason for this is that I have almost 800GB of video data in all. My internal HD is only 500gb and is 80% full. The external HD is 1TB and is used exclusively for storing imovie9 events and projects that I am not currently working on. It is about 70% full. When I create new projects in imovie 9, I move the events I want from the external HD to the internal HD and then put them back when I have fiished. I do all of this moving from within imovie, as recommended, so that imovie9 knows where the events are related to the various projects I create.
I think I understand that when I upgrade to imovie10, a brand new folder called "imovie library" will be created and all my events and projects will be COPIED into that, leaving the orginal data still theer in case I want to use iMovie9 with it.
My questions are:
1) if the data is copied in this process, I assume I will need capacity to store another 700GB of data. As I do not currently have this spare disk space across my internal and external drives, what will happen when I try to ugrade?
2) Will the upgared try to create two imovielibrary folders - on on each Hard Drive - and create copies of the data held on each drive within each new library?
3) Will I still be able to edit my old projects within imovie10 once they have been updated in to imovie10, or will I need to use imovie 9 for that?
4) Will all my events still be stored in a year by year structure within imovie 10 like in imovie9, so I can easily manage and find the clips I want from the data I have saved over the last 10 years?
5) WIll I still be able to see where the events are (internal disk or external disk) liek I can in imovie9 by selecting the "disk view" in teh browser panel?

1) iMovie 10 and iMovie 9 hard link to the same original files, provided they are on the same hard drive so you will not need much extra space unless to create iMovie 10 libraries on different HDs than the corresponding iMovie 9 Projects and Folders folders. You will have to be careful about this.
2) A good question. I would not try upgrading from both diska at the same time. I would disconnect the external hard drive first and upgrade the projects on your internal HD first
3) Yes you will be able to edit them in iMovie 10. You may find a few things have changed and need adjusting.
4) No, they will be bundled together in no easily understandable order. This is one of the negative aspects of iMovie 10. The best way around this is to create separate libraries for example for each year.
5) There is no disk view. You can reveal an event in Finder to see where it is (projects are in events in iMovie 10
I would try just updating one project and its associated events at first (by hiding the rest temporarity in an enclosing folder so they are not seen by iMovie).
You can then evaluate how you feel about iMovie 10 before you go further. This is what I did.

Where are the downloads?

Why is it so hard to find downloads for older editions of photoshop? I have CS5 Extended on old laptop that crashed so I've taken over my wife's laptop that has not cd drive, so I need to download the program. It is virtually impossible to find on Adobe. Lots of other sites claim to have it, but what else will load on my computer?
