Where are the files stored when creating a package using CCPLauncher????

I just bought Captivate 7 for Windows. I need help in installing the software. I downloaded the CCPLauncher.exe and specified all the options to build a package, however, I ran out of disk space on the drive. So I quit the CCPLauncher.exe and want to start this again on another computer that has more space. However, I want to clean up whatever the space the Build process has consumed, but I couldn’t find where the files that took all my disk space were…the CCPLauncher.exe is only 2.5MB. But I loss much more space than that. Note: I’m building the Pacakge on Windows 2003 STD server, but I specified 64-bit ver because I’m going to deploy the package on Windows 8 computer.

Hi CalvinNova,
Below is the location for Both Windows and Mac:
Windows Location - C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\CCP\AdobeCCPCache
MAC Location - ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CCP/AdobeCCPCache

  • Exactly where are the files stored when imported off a camera into iPhoto ?

see subject line,,,, but when i use iphoto's ''iphoto'' to import files off a camera versus the ''image capture'' they do not appear anywhere in the picture folder, this does not make sense,,,image capture seems to dumb the files into the picture folder
and,,,,,i understand what iPhoto 08 does with the files that are imported into the library from the picture folder but where are iphotos library versions stored?????
also,,,,,i'm putting time and effort into organizing a ''''library'''' only to have none of those efforts taking effect on the folders and files in the picture folder - this seems odd this is like organizing a 2 sets of books in a library == 1 set you want the public to see and one set you what to keep organized in the basement for future storage and retrival and from duplication
i need convincing this makes sense and help on a better system

You're confusing iPhoto with an File Manager. The Mac has one of those, it's called the Finder
When you organise things into albums and slideshows etc in the iPhoto Window there is no corresponding folders of images for each album. That would be a waste of disk space. Instead, each album is a virtual entity: in reality, a list of pics that you want to app to display together. So, no, you're not organising two sets of books, what you're doing is arranging the photos as you want them to be displayed while your assistant (the app) is looking after the files.
Events, however, are not virtual. Events in the iPhoto Window correspond exactly with the Folders in the Originals Folder in the iPhoto Library package file (Right click on it in the Pictures Folder -> Show Package Contents).
You can move photos between Events, you can rename Events, edit them, create them, as long as you do it via the iPhoto Window. Check out the Info Pane (wee 'i', lower left) the name and date fields are editable. Edit a Event Name using the Info Pane, the Event Folder in iPhoto Library/Originals will also have the new name.
There are three ways (at least) to get files from the iPhoto Window.
    1. Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
    2. File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
    3. Show File: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
So, think of it this way. You do your organising in the iPhoto Window. Let the application look after the basement.

  • Where are music files stored when playing a song stored in iTunes Match?

Where are music files stored when playing a song stored in iTunes Match? Instead of clicking the cloud icon and downloading the song, I simply double click the song and it starts playing. Later, I can quite iTunes, come back and not have to wait for the song to buffer. When I go to about on my computer I am told there is 11 gigabytes of music on my computer. Where are those files stored, do they clear themeselves over time, etc...

but then why does the FAQ state this:
Does iTunes Match stream or download songs?
On a computer, any songs stored in iCloud will stream over the air when played, though you can download them at any time by clicking the iCloud download button.
Do they mean a different computer than the one with the stored music files?  Would be nice if they specified what they mean

  • Where are the files stored for shared applications?

    Hello,
When I go to iTunes/iPad/Apps and then choose Pages under "File Sharing" and move a few files over, where are those files stored? Does iTunes make another copy and store it somewhere or does it just reference the location I copied from?
Also, if I move a file over and then delete that file, does it delete from the File Sharing section as well the next time I sync?

The information/data for apps is stored together with the app in both the iPad and in the backup on your computer. When you drop a file in the file sharing section of apps it gets added to the backup and to the iPad. When you delete it it get deleted from the backup and from the iPad.

  • Where are the files stored?

So...does anyone know where the files for iWeb are stored on our iDisk?
I can clearly see all the ones that are still on my Homepage. Movies are stored in the, of course, Movies folder, and photo albums are in the Pictures folder.
But the new ones that I've created with iWeb...and which work just fine...well...I can't seem to locate them.
The reason I'm askiing is that I'm thinking of possibly moving all my homepage stuff over to my new site and then...in theory...deleting the files used by homepage. But if they are still needed by iWeb, then I wouldn't delete them.
However...I can't find the files for my iWeb site on iDisk. Anyone have any ideas?
    <img src="http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c268/bat9man/batman75.gif"

OK...problem solved. It actually occured to me as I was reading over my last post.
I remembered that previously when I had put something into the public folder of my iDisk so that someone could access it, it only showed up in the iDisk when viewed from the compter from whence it was sent...even after syncing. And then, when it did finally show up on both computers, it was a pain to delete it and have it not show on both computers.
So, remembering that I had first created the site on the iBook, although finishing on the iMac, I went over to the iBook and checked the iDisk that showed up.
Glory be...there was a Web folder.
So that's that. I can now sleep peacefully.
I do find it strange, thought that I can update and publish on the iMac, have it upload to the iDisk, and yet not show files. Curious.

  • CG36VEN - where are the files stored?

Transaction CG36VEN is intended to allow users to "Import Vendor MSDS" documents (and actually, other documents as well.)  My question is, where are these documents physically stored? As someone who works with DMS and Archivelink, I'd like to know what the default behavior of this transaction is, and if it's possible to configure it to utilize the Content server if it doesn't do it by default.
    Thanks!

    hi,
The following data carrier types are supported as secure storage areas for storing original application files:
    1. SAP Database (settings available in standard SAP System)
The SAP Database is a Secure Storage Area that is predefined internally in the standard SAP System. This storage method is suitable for small files (for example, text files) because all of the original application files are also stored to the database.
    2. Archive (selection in Customizing Document Management and data transport using the SAP ArchiveLink interface)
The archive is a Secure Storage Area t hat the original files are transported to via the SAP ArchiveLink interface. T
The  archiving  process takes place on a special archive server.
    3. Vault (definition in Customizing Document Management)
You can set up a vault in the standard SAP System where the original application files are transferred to the frontend
       computers via an application server.
    4. HTTP content Server: external server, stores originals through Kpro. this is more recomended for DMS.
According to your Configuration of Storage senarios u have to select these methods.
EX: Business document in your case u have to select Archivelinking via HTTP content server.
    Uneed basic configuration for Archivelinking.
suppose u did not configured your document type and storage menthods, thet time Sytem stores original in SAP DATA BASE.
this is not recomanded. So your document is in SAP DB. Not in Content server. i guess.

  • Is the DFS replication DFsrPrivate a junction point folder and if so where are the files stored?

We have DFS replication set and see an arrow against the folder DFSrPrivate. Do the files reside at this location or elsewhere?
    Thanks
    David

    Hi David,
The DFsrPrivate folder resides at replicated folders. This folder is in reality a junction point or, in simpler terms, a link to another location on the volume. It seems to point to a path under the ‘System Volume Information’ folder on the same volume.
For more detailed information, you could refer to the article below:

  • Where are BLOB Files stored when using redo log files.

I am using Archive Log Mode for my backups. I was wondering if Blob files get stored in the redo log files or if they are archived somewhere else?
    Rob.

BLOB are just columns of some tables and are stored in related tablespace table by default in their own segments. Changes to BLOB columns are also stored in redo log more or less like any other column.
See an short example for default LOB storage in Re: CLOB Datatype [About Space allocation]

  • Where are download file stored before I select a save location? It looks like it starts the download before I choose a location.

I noticed that downloads start before I select a save location. Where are these files stored?

Firefox starts a download immediately in the background to the OS %temp% folder.

  • Where are the .joboptions stored on a Mac for InDesign CC?

Where are the .joboptions stored on a Mac for InDesign CC?
I put them in the usual directory:      /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings   .  .  . but they are not seen by InDesign CC.
. . . Photoshop, Illustrator, Distiller and Acrobat are seeing my custom profiles and any default profiles I removed are not there for those apps.
Even older versions of all these apps and InDesign 6 and 5 see my custom profiles.
But InDesign CC only shows the ones shown in the screen shot below:  (High Quality, the PDF/X versions[3], Press and Smallest size)
I know I can probably do a "Load" profile, but that's not the point and I need to remove the default profiles.
I'm in a multiple user environment and need to lock down the use of profiles to our companies select few.
Did a thorough search of the entire Mac and PDF/X- does not even show up.   Any suggestions?     Anyone?    I'm scratchin'  my head at this point.

      This was the correct answer:
Laubender     Jun 2, 2014 12:18 AM  (in response to Maurice Castelbuono)
@Maurizio – the standard settings, the joboption files with the brackets like [PDF/X-1a:2001] are stored inside the inDesign app for InDesign CC 9.2.1.
The path for these would be:
    /Applications/Adobe InDesign CC.app/Contents/MacOS/Resources/Adobe PDF/settings/mul
or with a Japanese version of InDesign:
    /Applications/Adobe InDesign CC.app/Contents/MacOS/Resources/Adobe PDF/settings/japan
If you do a right-click on the InDesign app you can show them with "Show Package Contents" options.
All other PDF joboptions that you are creating are relative to your current User Library. They are stored in:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings
Where the tilde sign at the beginning indicates the home of the currently used user.
You can access ~/Library, if you press the alt key when accessing the "Go To" menu in the Finder. Otherwise it's invisible.

  • Where are the files for the Backups that show up in About This Mac - Storage?

Where are the files for the Backups that show up in About This Mac - Storage?
My new Macbook Pro 13 retina has 1TB flash drive. But despite my TimeMachine being in a TimeCapsule my Macintosh HD shows 277 Gb of space has Backups. What is this for? How can I delete it?

OS X Lion and newer Mac OS X versions create local snapshots in portable Macs if Time Machine is enabled. See > http://pondini.org/TM/30.html
You don't have to worry about. They are stored in a kind of volume named "MobileBackups", but they appear as stored in your hard drive. To delete them, open System Preferences > Time Machine, and turn off Time Machine. Then, turn it on. However, you don't need to delete them, as they will be deleted when your hard drive gets full

  • Where are the profiles stored for Profile Manager.

Where are the profiles stored for Profile Manager?
I created a profile attached to a user group and then made the mistake of removing the group without first deleting the profile.
Now the orphan profile can't be managed (it's no longer visible) and is still being pushed out to users.
The group I deleted had another group as it's members.
    Example:
Active Sync User Group was a member of VPN Group.
VPN Group was deleted (it had the VPN settings payload)
Profile with VPN settings are still pushed out to Active Sync User Group even though VPN Group no longer exists.
I'm hoping I can manually remove this profile but I'm thinking it may be contained in Postgres. If that's the case I would appreciate any suggestions/methods to access the database to make modifications.
    Thanks

  • HT2500 Where are the files of past mail kept in the Mail program.

I want to do an additional backup of my email on Mail.  Where are the files of stored past mails kept?  In the same Mail.app?
    Thanks
    Gil

    Hi Gil,
    On Mail...
First Quit Mail, then I'd backup these two Mail folders, by right clicking on them in the Finder, then choose Archive/Compress.
    Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail
    Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail Downloads
(Could be a different folder here if you chose such in Mail Prefs)
Right click on that Mail folder, choose archive, you'll get everything in the folder, and the folder itself in a file called Mail.zip, move it to a safe place, same for the Mail Downloads folder... only the plist is separate.
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
