Where are the latest files that be downloaded in the computer?
a problem confused me recently.i cannot find the files which be downloaded by adobe application manager.
so, who can help me? thanks.
Bear with me:
Where the actual files are stored doesn't matter. If you want to delete them you put them in the iPhoto Trash and then empty it. Thereafter you also empty the system trash. Do this in batches of about 100 or so at a time.
If you delete the files directly via the Finder then you will corrupt your Library.
Yes, if you have photos linked from iphoto to other apps, then deleting them will break those links.
Have you considered moving the whole Library to another disk?
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
As an FYI: The files are stored in the iPhoto Library package in your Pictures Folder.

Trying to use a new, larger external hard drive for my Time Machine backup. However, every time I start the backup, it gets started then fails. And, I can't delete the few files that did save on the external. Sort of a catch 22. Any ideas?
Is it a USB hard drive? USB hard drives have the problem of not giving full speed if they are hooked up on the same bus as keyboards and mice. Double check your profiler to make sure that is not a problem. If it is Firewire, make sure there aren't other firewire devices in use at the same time. I recommend not only keeping a Time Machine backup, but also a clone, and if you do use Time Machine, to make sure the Time Machine drive or partition is at least twice the size of the original drive.

I bought Turbo for my kid but the only thing that got downloaded was the iTunes extras. Is there a way to redownload the movie?

If not then does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on your Mac's iTunes find it ? If that doesn't find it then see if it shows in the 'redownloading' area under Quicklinks :
Whether you can redownload the film depends upon what country that you are in, and if the studio/rights-holder allows redownloading. Does the film appear under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your Mac's iTunes

Since I downloaded the latest version 5 to my I-Phone and I-pad the quality of the photo's that I download from my computer is poor and grainty, prior to that it was perfect, I downloaded these via a USB cable and not via Clouds: is there a problem with version 5 or am I doing something wrong ??

Iam looking for the image file that is used on the second monitor when an app is in full screen mode. not the NSTexturedFullScreenBackgroundColor.png as thats for the fullscreen background generally and not the one for the dashboard eather.
I dont like the gray background on the second monitor that comes up when an app is in fullscreen mode and want to change it.
Any help would be apreciatedi typed in a load of stuff but its not there ill start again

I'm trying to find the pdf files that I downloaded on my ipad3.
i downloaded from tpt--a teaching website. i am sure they downloaded because a yellow bar appeared across the top of my screen. i have both acrobat reader and ibooks but the files are not there....
You have to manually save the files into one of this apps when you download a PDF from Safari. You can tap and hold down on the open PDF file when it is on the screen and a button pops up - the Open In button. You have to select the app that you want to save the file into. There should be a button in the upper right corner of the open PDF than says Open In. If you do not see it - tap on the screen while the PDF is opened and it should appear.

I recently attempted to download 5 different songs to my iPhone, but all 5 downloaded as the same song. The correct titles show up, but when I play the songs they are all the same. How can I resolve this?

I understand you are having issues with playback of purchased music. If iTunes in the Cloud is available in your country, it might be best to delete the song(s) from your device, then re-download from your purchase history.

Before you delete, find out if you'll be able to download the song you deleted again (it depends on where you live). To delete a song:

My iphone 3gs is not recognised in either windows 7 or in the latest itunes. It was briefly but then Windows asked me if I wanted to open the camera with Windows media player and I clicked ok. I also tried to download the new software for the phone. Now nothing works. I also downloaded a programme which you supposedly need for iphone with windows 7
Any help pleaseThe ONLY program you need for an iPhone on Windows 7 is iTunes. Remove whatever the other program is, then remove and re-install iTunes as diesel vdub recommends.

I have tried apple support (3 hours on phone), Adobe (1.5 hours on the phone) and Epson (I use the CX11N printer), another 1.5 hours and the proble still exists.
I have tgried unstalling Epson printer and reinstalling, using "print as an image" and all the other things that Adobe suggedts on their sight. I am also using Adobe Reader XI. Any suggestions?Back up all data before making any changes. Please take each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, and the problem is just that you can't print PDF's displayed in Safari, you may be able to print by moving the cursor to the the bottom edge of the page, somewhere near the middle. A black toolbar may appear under the cursor. Click the printer icon.
Step 2
There should be a setting in its preferences of the Adobe application such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected.
Step 3
If you get a message such as ""Adobe Reader blocked for this website," then from the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and check the box marked
Allow Plug-ins
Then click
Manage Website Settings...
and make any required changes to the security settings for the Adobe PDF plugin.
Step 4
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens by pressing command-V, then press return.
From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari.
Step 5
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others—I don't have a complete list. Don't remove Silverlight if you use the "Netflix" video-streaming service.
Step 6
Do as in Step 4 with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari. -
Where are old iMovie files that were in "Movie" favorites before I got new iMovie and Mavericks?
Just installed Mavericks and bought the new iMovie. Looked for labled finished movies folders that I had kept in Movies on my HD favorites on OS 10.6.7, but that Fave doesnt exist in Mavs. Where can I find the labeled folders with all their working files? Some unlabeled files do exist individually in All My Favorites but seem of little help without labels.

I have imported a PDF document and it automatically saves it to the cloud. I want the imported form to save locally? Is there a way to change an imported document from cloud to local?

Files are automatically saved to your online account when you use the Acrobat.com online services. However, you can most certainly download the files to your computer, by selecting them at https://cloud.acrobat.com/files, and then clicking the Download icon.

The loading of the program got to 39% seven times. Then it demanded I close it and restart it, which I did. The last time I gave up. I am getting messages that I can't download and read .pdf files since I have the wrong Adobe reader. I know about their security disasters of course, but I downloaded the latest version of Adobe Reader from the Adobe web site and I have other ,pdf file readers as well, and for some reason they won't work either. I have 5 computers running top end processors and RAM. By this I mean I have one, this one which I am using that has an AMD Phenom Black 3.2 Quad-core with 8 GBs of Corsair top DDR2 RAM, my other two AMD have either an Athlon II triple core with 4 GBs of DDR2 Corsair RAM, one with the Phenom X4 965 3.4 GHz Quad-core with 8 GBs of their best DDR2 RAM, and two Intels with the i7 920 Processors using the triple channel 1366 socket processors and one with 8 GBs of low latency DDR3 RAM and the other with 4 GBs of the same RAM. I am getting the message on this one, which has a fresh install of XP Pro X64 operating system, as do the other 4 as well. I have run Avast Business Pro Anti-virus on this one, which I am getting the message on with a single result which I deleted, and also both Spybot Search and Destroy, which came back clean as well as Malwarebytes Antimalware, which got a lot of tracing cookies now removed, and SuperAntiSpware which also found a few cookies also now deleted. Can you tell me what I need to do to get these files to show as .pdf files rather than as a clean blank page. One other issue is that I wish to know how to turn off my downloads so they are saved and Mozilla will give me the option of returning them instead of me losing them all together as it does now. Thanks for your assistance. If there is another Adobe reader I should download and install, could you provide me with the link to it? I appreciate your assistance here

In the latest verision of ITunes (downloaded yesterday) I can no longer see how large (in GB's) my music library or playlists are. This is a very valuable function and it seems to have disappeared. Anyone know where it is?
Go to the View menu and turn on the Status Bar. If you don't see the menus, go to the small icon with the arrow at the extreme upper left and select "Show Menu Bar":

How can I get my books that I download from the Library that are WMA files into my I tunes so I can listen to them. They have a ton of books but I can only listen to them from my windows media player and I wouldlove to download to my I pod but I have tried everything I can think of it they won't go over. Someone said all I had to do was copy them over and they would convert but I can't even get them to copy. Thanks.
Well it started happening AGAIN with my 2nd IPod. No matter what I did, it Itunes would NOT restore it!
I finally installed Itunes on my hubby's PC at work and managed to get it restored there.
Apparently, there must be some sort of compatibility issue with the windows version of Itunes and some other piece of software on my pc.
And one more important thing! I had to follow the instructions in the other thread that talks about how to correctly uninstall itunes and quicktime, in order to completely eliminate ALL traces of my "first" ipod's existence so it wouldn't demand that I restore it.
I think the software got "confused" and thought when I connected my 2nd ipod, that it was the 1st and that it still needed to be restored.
Basically, this is just POORLY written and POORLY tested software!
