Where are the Movie Rentals??

I see promotions that say there are over 1000 movies to rent.
When doing the "Power" search and click on to Movie available for rent, I only get 150 movies. It has been that way since the Keynote in January.
If there are 1000 movies for rent, where are they?

Movie Rentals??!?!?!?! Apple has movie rentals???!?!!!? BAH!!!!
renting movies/games just isn't my style. i guess it's a good commercial move for them. though with the prices Apple charges for their products, i really don't see how they needed to upgrade to that format for profitability...
will the DL's of Rental/Purchase have all the Extras DVD's will have? that's what i require....anyone see it?

Two Windows scripts to make playlists of Duplicates and Exact Duplicates. Use shift-delete to remove selected tracks from the library as well as the playlist.
There is also my DeDuper script if you don't want to do it by hand. Please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

There is nothing to download.
You first must purchase the service in iTunes and let the intial scan, match and upload process complete. Then you can activate it on your iPhone by going to Settings > Music and set the option for "iTunes Match" to ON.

Hi everyone I'm an iMovie newbie,
I finalized my iMovie project. I am using iMovie 9.0.9 by the way. I can't seem to locate the movie files when I go to upload my video to YouTube. I also noticed that the files for my previous videos are gone as well. For now, I'm exporting using QuickTime, but that is taking way too much time and I have never had to do this before. I waited an hour for my project to finalize, where are the files? Where can I find them?

I tried the MPEG STREAMCLIP option and like yourself exported to QuickTime/Apple Intermediate Codex @ 100% quality (you can also export in DV mode with much the same results) - it worked fine but file sizes trebled and quality reduced (you can also. As you say its also a pain to have to go though another process. To be able to do it inside imove is a much better option (thanks to tjworld for that, who would have thought of doing that!!!) Surely this will be something Apple have to sort out in the next upgrade. So pleased that I can continue using the Zi6 as it's a really smart little camera - even though mine is pink one (the camera that is!) This is the first time I've used a discussion stream so thanks again all for the help

Movie Rentals, Where are the 1000 Rentals?

Still only see 100 Rentals when clicking on "Top Rentals"
and only 150 when doing a "Power Search", where are they all and why so hard to find?

Go the iTunes Store main page, click on the Movies link under the iTunes Store header, then scroll down to the "All Rentals" link under the Categories header.
And yes, the number of movies actually available as of today fall far short of the 1000 estimated to be available when the rentals were announced. Clearly the movie studios haven't been as forthcoming as they initially indicated, or it's taking a lot longer to get the movies processed than Apple anticipated.

Depending upon what country that you are in you may be able to re-download them on the iPad via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app (re-downloading isn't possible in all countries), If you can't then you will need to sync them over to the iPad - connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar (if you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you can enable the sidebar via control-S on a PC), and then use the Movies tab on the right-hand side of iTunes to select and sync them to the iPad's Videos app

Where are the movies in the project library saved?

I am trying to find where my movie is saved on my computer. I can locate it only in the Project File, and under "file" there is no option that says "save" or "save as."

2. I did share the movie with you tube. When I created my you tube account, I hit "private." Now I find that no one else can see my movie but me. Yikes! That's not good. I tried to change my "private" to "public" or to start all over again and just open a new you tube account...BUT my you tube page never looks like the page in the example. I go to youtube.com as they recommend...but my own page never has any of the links or questions that the "help" page says it does. I'm very frustrated.

If you look in the USA iTS you will see the movies link. You willl be able to browse.
You are in the UK and will not be able to purchase at this time. It is a USA iTS store availablity only at this time.

Syncing 5th generation ipod but where are the movies?

After syncing my 5th generation ipod video to get recently bought movies, I can't seem to see the movies, TV shows or music videos when I disconnect the ipod from the computer. Is there a setting or something I'm suppose to do or am I missing something?

I think it could be one of 2 things. In itunes (7.1.1) when you plug in your ipod and the summary screen for the ipod appears got to the movies tab and make sure the 'sync movies' box is ticked also below this it should say 'all movies'. Do the same for TV Shows tab. This should help http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304708
Or on your ipod go to settings>mainmenu>and make sure movies or tv shows are set to 'on' they will then show in the main screen of your ipod.
Jeff could be right, but I thought the music was still syncing ok.

OK, so where are the movie trailers now?

Link on the Movies section of the store no longer has a link to Theatrical Trailers. Any ideas what's up??

Thanks so much for your help on this one. I'm so glad I asked this question because even though it's only 264MB in size at the moment, it could quite easily become GBs of unneeded data.
It's a bummer that Snow Leopard doesn't have those preferences anymore. It seems that we're slowly losing control of the OS that we use every day. I also needed to manually delete automatically downloaded updates from Software Update that wasn't installed. They really should add an option to clear all these files from the system, rather than making us do it all manually.

Where are the movie controls in Keynote 1.6?

I work for a large engineering firm that relies on presentations to communicate with clients. The ability to control movies within Keynote (pause, play, scrub) is absolutely essential. It appears this functionality has been disabled in version 1.6 as all movie clips now play without the controller. In the previous version of Keynote for iOS a tap on the movie would bring up the controls. Anyone know how to enable this feature?

Where are my movie rentals?

I downloaded two rentals to my iPad 2. I cannot find them though.
They are not in Movies.
I cannot find them via Purchased on iTunes.
I cannot search for them.
I've tried turning the iPad on and off a few times. That did nothing.
I just can't find them anywhere..
Please advise!

I just tried synching with my laptop (which is not the computer I normally synch the iPad with).
For some reason that's worked and now I have the Rentals button appearing in the Video app.
Very frustrating though and started downloading one of the films a second time on my laptop to try it that way.
How does one request a refund..?

I am trying to find and then delete video content from my phone. In iTunes I choose the "Info" tab for my phone and it lists video content of 348.5 MB. I can't find any video on the phone...where would I look for it? And, once I find it, how do I delete it?

I do have the "manually manage music and videos" selected, but I made that selection just a short time before posting the first message on this thread in case that matters.
Then your iPhone should have been completely erased of all music and videos after selecting this with a warning message provided. You can sync music and videos, or manually manage music and videos. You can't do both at the same time and when switching from one to the other, all music and videos will be erased from your iPhone first or should be.
You don't need to delete these music videos from your iTunes library unless you want to. I have much more content available in my iTunes library that can fit on my iPhone and if I want to remove some iTunes content from my iPhone, I don't need to delete it from my iTunes library.
If you are now manually managing music and videos, you can manually remove this music video from your iPhone. This is what manually managing music and videos means and requires. If you are syncing music and you have sync only checked songs and video selected under the Summary tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, simply uncheck the music video in your iTunes library followed by a sync, unless you want to permanently delete the music video from your iTunes library and computer.
