Where are the other address books that I had? Now personal, only

The original Personal Address book was unused and I had another Griffith Yahoo address book. I uploaded lots of data to that. It and another historical address book have disappeared with the latest update. I'm totally fouled up with the lost addresses. Help to find the old book. The reason for the old Personal not being used was it didn't track my Emails sent.

Wonderful- all my address books are there. Just clicking on the View-Layout-Directory Pane solved the current problem. Many Thanks. I had imported a lot of my Directory contacts from the XP computer to that address book. It's not great buy at least I had a storage spot. Again - thank you.

My MacBook Pro has a 500GB Hard Drive (HD), but when I search my capacity I says that I only have 384.99 GBs of capacity. Where are the other 100GBs?

My Mac has been a little slow, so I figured that I should make sure that I have enough storage capacity on my Hard Drive (HD). In doing so I realized that my HD is missing 100GB of space capacity. I thought that my HD was supposed to at least 499.25 of available space.
When using "About this Mac", it clearly shows that I only have 384.99 GB of capacity.
Where are the other 100 GB? I should mention that I recently deleted a partition for that same amount of storage. That has to have something to do with this? Can you help me?

Check you have an internet connection and that you are using the correct iTunes store location setting.
Try restarting the router.
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.

Where are the other ten gigs?

My MBP has a 120 gig HD, but when I go to "Get Info", it says my capacity is 111.47 gigs, with 91.76 available, and 19.71 used. Where are the other ten gigs?
Also, does anyone know how much space Leopard consumes?

They're tied up in things like file names, file permissions, folders, and the HFS+ journal. A file containing 1MB of data still needs to store its name and permissions and so on somewhere, and your filesystem allows for this in its space calculations.
This is usually what's referred to when people say "formatted capacity".

I have 261 gb used on my User folder..but the sum is 80 gb separately..where are the other gigs

I need to clear up space on my 4 year old Imac. The most gbs are used in my User folder. It says 262gb are used. But when I click on the individual folders, and add them up I have only used 80 gb. Where are the others , how can I clear them up. I am baffled. Help

Do not delete from the libraries until you know exactly what is being deleted.
Generally you should never delete from either of the Libraries, they contain critical system operation files.

Where are iCal, Mail, Address Book, etc. files????

If we reinstall the OS because of major problems, but the drive files are backed up, can we retrieve Mail, Address Book, iCal, etc. files? Our office assistant is tearing her hair out having to re-do everything. Supposedly it's backed up, but she can't find it...or how to RECOVER her missing data.

Where are the emails you say that I have?

I show 25 received emails. Three of which are unread, the rest have been read. In the bar at the bottom of the page It says UNREAD: 103 ; TOTAL: 106. Where are all the supposed emails that I have????

If you want to sort your emails by their read state, simply click the circle/star in the toolbar just above the message list. This will sort your messages by read/unread and you should be able to see your unread emails at the top or bottom of the list (depending on wether you choose ascending or descending sorting).

Where are the 10,000 photo's I had saved to Revel?

I had 10,000 photo's in Photoshop, got a notice not to worry but that I had to now use Revel. Transferred all of my photo's to Revel and was able to see them for the past year, but suddenly my library is empty, no favorites, no folders, no pictures. Where are my pictures?

Where are the Previous or Past Incidents/Repairs/Issues now LOCATED?

For instance in repairs, I'm able to see only the LAST repair, nothing before that. A person is given the opportunity to look at possible previous case(s), but only if he or she had the case number or other info. Not too many people that I know of keep all of that stuff around.
I know that if I personally had a few issues, incidents or complaints that I had reported to Apple, that would have involved specifics about my account, and then my account would have to be accessed firsthand, simply to verify facts or figures and that also would have had to been checked up on individually and specifically...then why wouldn't that report be linked or located right inside the customer's own personal account? To me at least, that would be the most obvious place to look first. Why? Because if all of the sales invoices and orders are located there (but only for the past 18 months) and then a person has particular questions or seeks answers to specific account items, it becomes even more clear that all related information ought to be contained in that one same area, especially until there comes a resolution or settlement of an issue.
I can understand that if I were just having some issue with hardware or software and I had no particular request to be answered back to personally, especially if there were to be absolutely no personally identifiable information involved, than I see some kind of general answer...like right here in these forums.
Maybe I just can't find that link or page again, but I wish it were more obvious.
I DID NOTICE however, that if a person had an issue or problems with some sale in the iTunes area, there appears to be an obvious link to click on to for help. But when it comes to sales from within the Apple Store itself and may involve, ohhh one of these and a few of these and so on, when a person seeks help with a previous sale, it appears they then get muddled down into either one specific corner of the "store" or another.

HT6378 I "upgraded" to iCloud Photo Library (Beta), my 2000+ pictures between my iphone/ipad has now become 85 photos. Where are the other 1900 pictures--not in the deleted folder?

I upgraded to iCloud Photo LIbrary (Beta) today but my 2000+ pictures have now become 85 pictures on the iCloud/iPhone & iPad. The pictures are not in the deleted folder. These "pictures" were NOT normal with prior IOS upgrades. I could not delete them. Where have all of these pictures gone?

Ok, so here's a solution to this issue:
Backed up my iPhone on iTunes
Did a factory reset on iPhone
Restored the thing from previous backup
Re-entered all my passwords and such
Now it's syncing again.
The whole procedure took me about two hours.
No idea why this happened. Beta, I guess.

Let's face it, iPhone is not a real business tool. I don't need that stocks widget. Weather, great. Maps, great. YouTube, cool. But, what I need is sports scores and movie listings widgets, where can I get them?

There are no widgets for you to download to your phone. There are web apps that look like widgets, some very cool (like movie listings, detailed weather radar, etc.)

My iPhone says I have 11.6 gigs of back up but all my iCloud data is off on all apps except my camera roll which is only 8.0 gigs where are the other 3 gig??

Other data like text messages are also included in a backup - there's no way to turn that off.
