Where are the persona packages stored on a Win7 PC with FF6/7b? Also, I can not find any actual info on what the process is to create a new persona theme, all of the info I can find is rather vague and never even tries to explain anything.
I want to make a custom persona, but none of the info I find on the web actually states where or how persona packages are actually stored on a Vista/Win7 PC. I'm using FF 6 and 7beta. Where the heck are custom persona stored while they are disabled?

A Persona consists of two images.<br />
One large image (lightweighttheme-header, 3000x200) for the toolbars at the top and a smaller (lightweighttheme-footer, 300x100) for the footer that are stored in the Firefox Profile Folder.
The list of installed personas is stored in prefs.js in the Firefox Profile Folder in the lightweightThemes.usedThemes pref in JSON object format ({"id":"#","name":"xxx",...}).

The first entry of that pref is the currently used persona.<br />
Only the image files of the currently selected persona are stored in the Firefox profile folder.<br />
All other personas are loaded from the server if you choose another persona.

When trying to create a new user profile service application on a new SharePoint install I get the following error:

I Tried to create another one under a different name (databases also) and I get the same error.
The SharePoint instance has the march mandatory update installed. The sql instance we are using is an existing SQL cluster for other SharePoint poc's.
Has anybody seen this issue before?I had the same problem and could not figure out what was wrong for the longest time. I then had the idea to check in the model system database to see if there were any extra custom tables in that database. Any tables that are in the model database
are put into any new database when it is created. I had some custom tables in the model database so I deleted the custom tables in the model database and deleted the failed user profile service application and its databases and then tried to recreate

Open Disk Utility, select your hard drive in the list in Disk Utility's window, then click Repair Disk Permissions. And be aware that there are [permissions messages you can safely ignore|http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1448]. You also may want to [repair the hard drive with Disk Utility|http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1417] if you haven't done that recently. If it still doesn't work, try [starting up in Safe Mode|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455] and see if that makes any difference.
If none of this helps, you may want to try a local Apple Store, if there are any in Malaysia. I think there's going to be a serious language barrier if the problem needs any complicated troubleshooting, and it's always helpful for the person helping to be able to see the machine in question. -

I want to move the location of my iTunes library music files. At present they are all on my time machine . I want to move them all to my imac. Can I do that and keep all my playlists and play counts? Thanks in advance
its 1000s of songs . Originally I used the time machine as a networked drive but it can cause the songs to pause so I'm thinking it would be better to have the songs on the internal imac drive

Or are you actually accessing the backup? In either case you shouldn't be doing that. If you haven't space on your HDD to store the iTunes Library, then at least put it on another external drive.
Since you did not provide any information about what's actually "on my time machine," here's what you would do. The entire iTunes folder should be stored in the /Home/Music/ folder. Within that folder you would have three folders: imm Media, iTunes, and iTunes Playlists. -
My sister has given me an old iPod touch 2 I think it is and after resetting the account info to mine the content was wiped and can not load any games now as it runs 3.1.3 and there all saying they need iOS 5 how can I update it to this
I suspect you have the original, 1G iPod touch. Those can only go as high as iOS 3.1.3,
If y ohave a 2G those can go as high as 4.2.1

First, empty the Trash if you haven't already done so.
Use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one.
Proceed further only if the problem hasn't been solved.
ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
Back up all data now.
Install ODS in the Applications folder as usual.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Triple-click the line of text below to select it, then drag or copy — do not type — into the Terminal window:
sudo /Applications/OmniDiskSweeper.app/Contents/MacOS/OmniDiskSweeper
Press return. You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything while running ODS as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means.
When you're done with ODS, quit it and also quit Terminal. -

I was told I could sync my music on my pc with my ipad2 by an apple agent. I hooked my ipad2 up to my pc and did so, but now I can not open any of my apps on my ipad2. when I try it just flickers and does not open. Can anyone help?
On you iPad, force close all the Apps in the multitask window.
Follow these steps to force an app to close:
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it on by one until all cleared
Now do a Soft reset of your iPad:
Hold both Home and Sleep button for around 10secs until you see the Apple logo then release. After it returns to Home screen, try your Apps again and see if this resolves the issue. -

Can you have different I cloud accounts on different devices. Like 4 phones with different numbers while keeping them all on the same I tunes account? My family shares one I tunes account but it would be nice to be able to have a different I cloud for family member. Is there a way to do this. Because the I cloud part on the setting on the phone and I pad are greyed out on the phones so you can't change the user.
If they are greyed out then usually this means that the account is not validated on that device. The Delete Account button at the bottom should still work and allow you to remove the current account form the iCloud Section of Settings.
To answer your question, yes. There are four places you can use an Apple ID on an iOS device:
Settings > iCloud
Settings > Messages
Settings > FaceTime
Settings > iTunes & App Stores
The iTunes & App Stores is the only one you want to use a shared (family) Apple ID account. The other three you will want a unique Apple ID for that person to prevent info merging or messages getting shared, etc.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page).

After clicking one of the circled links, you should be taken to another page, and after a few seconds you should see a download dialog appear for the msicuu2.exe file. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Firefox:
Choose to Save the file. If the dialog box does not appear for you, click the link on the page that says "CLICK HERE IF IT DOES NOT". Here's a screenshot of the page with the relevant link circled:
When the dialog appears, choose to save the file.
(2) Go to the Downloads area for your Web browser. Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. My computer crashed. So does this mean I can not add any more music to my ipod from a different computer without all the songs being erased? The ipod works fine and now i got a new computer. So it seems like my only options are leaving my ipod in a state where i cant add anymore songs or erasing all my songs and trying to use my ipod from my new computer. Yes, if you choose the Erase and Sync option (or restore your iPod) you will be allowed to sync your iPod with the new computer.
