Where are the pictures of screensaver "National Geographic"

I like the pictures of screensaver "National Geographic", I want to use one of them as my desktop background. But when I go to System/Library/Screensaver, I don't see a folder named "National Geographic". And I searched all the pictures in the Screensaver folder, I didn't found any pictures which are displayed in sreensave mode. Can anybody know where are those pictures saved?

  • Where are the pictures found in the Adobe Photoshop 10 organizer?

Nov. 29, I had my computer repaired from a trojan, & I figured out that everything i've done since Sept. 13th was gone because when the computer guy was fixing it, he tried to put in the new MicroSD card reader, but he had to put an old one back in (from Sept.) as the new one had wrong connections.
Then, when he started the PC he only had the C drive (& my documents and pictures are on the A drive). He turned it off and realized he accidentally disconnected one of the mirror hard drives for Drive A. He had to turn it off and open it again and reconnect the cable that was disconnected.
During that moment perhaps a line in the drive had become corrupted. So, I restored through Carbonite, hoping I'd get back almost everything (or at least whatever was done being backed up). However, I lost quite a few pictures.
Tuesday, however, I noticed that the pictures I lost were imported into the organizer for Adobe Photoshop 10, which is on the C drive, so I'm hoping the pictures are still there, even if they are thumbnails (I assume they would be)! But where are the pictures found in the Adobe Photoshop 10 organizer? I assume in a folder somewhere? Am I able to copy them? (A low quality image, is better than no image!)

The thumbnail cache is separate and lives in the system files.
You could try a new catalog - it doesn’t involve any duplication.
    Click: File >> Catalog
    Click the New button
Give your catalog a name e.g. My Catalog2 (or whatever you prefer)
Check the box Import Free Music - that will bring in the Adobe MP3 tracks used in slideshows
    Then click OK
When the new blank catalog opens click: File >> Get Photos and Videos >> From Files & Folders
Navigate to your root folder (normally Pictures or My Pictures or wherever you put your photos) then press Ctrl+A to select all sub folders or make sure the checkbox is marked.
    Click Open or Get Media
Wait for Elements to complete the import, accept all keyword suggestions (select all) and then wait for thumbnails to finish generating.
N.B. You may not get all the metadata (keywords etc) but in view of the problems you have had it may be your best hope.

  • HT4236 Restoring iphone where are the pictures

I backed up my iphone pics but now have to restore my iphone before moving forward.  I cannot find where the pictures on my phone have been saved.

If you merely backed up the device, they are in the backup.  No you cannot access the data in the backup.  The backup is merely for restoring to an iDevice.
If you want actual access to the pics on the computer, copy them off the device as you would with any other digital camera.

  • Where are the pictures stored??

Ok so i am trying to LIKE iPHOTO, as i NEVER have before...One big problem i have is if I am trying to find the actual "file" on finder, I cannot....If i click on iPhoto library in the pictures folder, it launches the application???? I don't want to launch the application, I want to be able to have access to the file/pic separate from the application...
where is it?? How do i do this?? thanks..

Hello - the link in this answer doesn't lead to a discussion (by which I understand something with input from different contributors) but to a download page called Aliashoarder. Is this what you intended or is the link wrong?
As a new Mac user, I'm having problems with coming to terms with iPhoto as well, so much so that if I'm trying to edit photos and send copies to other people, I frequently end up resorting in frustration to the ancient and outdated software that originally came with my digital camera - at least I know how to use that!
For instance, if a scan comes out upside down, I rotate it and it appears to be the right way up: there isn't any prompt asking you to save the new image, so you assume it's now OK - but when I attach the view to an email to send, it comes out upside down again! And if you put a scan into an album called, say "Yellow" and then try to put another scan into the same folder, it puts it into another separate folder, also called "Yellow"! So now I have 2 folders with identical names, each with a different picture in, when what I wanted was one folder containing them both.
Presumably there must be an explanation somewhere, in simple language, of how to use iPhoto properly - but where? Grateful for any help, thanks!

  • Where are the pictures?

I switched to a backup from LR4 to find some pictures that weren't on my main catalog (had been lost somehow). Now I want to go to my main (big) catalog but can't find it. I've tried a variety of catalogs with the File, Open Catalog command, but not getting the big one. I haven't organized anything into collections or other catalogs, just kept one big one - it has about 2,500 pics on it. When I went to the LR folder on my hard drive the one entitled Lightroom 5 Catalog has but 500 pics in it, all from a two week period earlier this year.
    Thanks for your help!

    Thanks for your reply.
The images are spread out through many folders as I've imported them from cameras over the last couple years (LR 4 and 5). So I have them, but these are the before PP versions, none would have all of the PP I've applied in LR to them. I don't know what the file/folder name is for the base catalog in LR5 - if I had that I could do a search possibly and find it that way by opening it in LR.
Any ideas on how I can find this magic file? Thanks again!

If you mean your Photostream, you access it via iPhoto.

  • Photobooth - where are the pictures saved?

When I first got the computer and started it up, it prompted to snap a picture of myself, which I did. I set that picture as my buddy icon for iChat, but for nothing else. Now, I'd like to find that picture but cannot. I have looked all over for a Photobooh folder, but could not find one. Any help would be much appreciated.

Look in the folder /Library/Caches/ on your hard disk for this file; if it is here, it should have a name along the lines of com.apple.user501pictureCache.tiff. If it isn't in the /Library/Caches/ folder, open the NetInfo Manager in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and note down the value of the picture property for your user account; this is the path to the file. You may need to use the Finder's Go to Folder command to navigate to the file's location.

  • PSE 6 on old XP computer, PSE 9 on new WIn 7 - where are the pictures?

I am lost.  I had 9000+ pictures on the old computer outboard drive; and others copied onto the new computer (Win XPSP3.)  I am now am on the new computer (WIN7).  I just opened PSE 9 for the first time.  The guide which came with the PSE disc discussed "Catalogues" which I don't see anywhere.  In fact, there's no file>catalogue choice that I can see in Organizer.  The guide instructs how to convert a catalogue.  It makes little sense to me.
I believe I must re-associate all my old pictures into PSE 9 but am lost in space...
Sometime ago I had (thought I) had organized my many pictures into folders on the outboard hard drive which now appear, in many cases, empty...???
Must I put PSE 9 on the old computer? to get the photos off of it and into PSE 9 on the new computer?
Why won't the files (which DO contain pictures)  I CAN see, open in organizer in the new computer?
Thanks for any info.  I am feeling really stupid.

The file paths will be different in the catalog e.g. documents & settings under XP which is not part of W7.
It’s best to use back-up and restore letting elements work out the appropriate file paths on the new machine.

  • Address book in iPod - where are the pictures?

I put pictures for each of my contacts in my Address book, but they don't show up in my contacts on my iPod. Any suggestions on how to transfer those pictures?

I'm afraid it appears that you're going to need at least OS X 10.4.3 to do that:

You cannot use iCloud Storage to suppliment your iPad. They are mainly used to backup iPad.
    Free up space on iPad
Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete what is not needed to free up space on iPad.

  • Around the web where are there pictures of how you insert a disc?...

Around the web where are there pictures of how you insert a disc?... into a 27 inch iMac 3.2GHz Intel Core i3

I can see this happening sometimes. Especially if someone is mainly used to working with power macs; most of which have a dvd tray/s as opposed to slot loading mac computers.
@ Bengt Wärleby .... good point regarding the use of mini dvd's most of which can easily be used with modern burners and dvd-rom drives that use a tray.
Slot loading macs work well with a full size / standard dvd or CD only.
