Where are the Vista drivers for the WoW Wireless headset?

I just got the World of Warcraft wireless headset - but the link in the quick start (http://www.soundblaster.com/WorldofW...irelessHeadset) does not direct me to a VALID Windows driver web site.
It has two links - one for Windows (which explicitly states that it supports Vista), one for Mac. Both take me to the Mac driver package.
When I use the "Software AutoUpdate" to find the right drivers, it tells me that "Windows Vista is currently not supported"
How do I get the Vista (64bit) drivers for this thing?
I want to use it, but if I can't get drivers - I'll have to return it.
(to make things more annoying, the support page http://support.creative.com/contactus/ is 404)

http://ccftp.creative.com/manualdn/D..._1_01_0001.exe
Try that direct link.

  • What about the vista drivers for the audigy seri

now that the xifi vista drivers are out, when can we expect the (non-beta) vista drivers for the audigy series?

Actually, you can use the X-Fi-Drivers for the A2ZS. Simply unpack the install-file (e.g. with WinRAR) and run the setup.exe in the "Drivers"-folder. The Audio-Console will be installed too, you'll find it in your "windows/system32"-folder by the name "CtPanel.exe". I use the x64-bit version of Windows Vista, so the AudioConsole for this version couldn't see the installed Audigy-driver for some reason. After I've copied the CtPanel.exe from "yourunpackedinstallfolder/Drivers/wdm/common/i386" to the System32-folder, the Console worked as it should.Because the Console has not the best variety of the options, I've also tried to install the creative-programms from my CD. I could install the "Speaker-Settings"-tool, and it works fine. But the Surround-Mixer seems not to work under Vista, mooving the sliders has no affects on the real volume. I hope, Creative will release the good-working Software-Suite for Windows Vista, I really don't want to argue with the Audio-Console.Message Edited by theLost on 03-08-2007:28 AM

  • Anyone have an updated link to the unspported drivers for the X-Fi series?

JAnyone have an updated link to the unspported drivers for the X-Fi series?dI honestly cannot believe what I'm reading about all the people having problems in Windows 7. Having just upgraded to it and being a loyal CL customer since I've been building PCs, decided to upgrade my Audigy 2 and bought an X-Fi Gamer only to be rewarded with the inability to install the drivers, and I find out I'm not the only one and it actually seems...very common...what? Are you even serious Creative? All these posts about people not being able to use your cards with Windows 7 and you don't do a thing? Anyway, if someone has a mirror for the supposedly working unsupported drivers that would be great, every mirror I've found is outdated. If someone has them and they work, great, but I'm seriously never buying one of your products again if this is how you do customer service. If not, newegg's return policy is great, Asus here I come, sooner or later

Nsame here broo i won't buy ever product from creative company. I realy tought it's best music card ever ( and expensi've for normal beaing ) but they are just funny with their customer support. anyway just pm me with mail adres ill sent you unsuported drivers, or you can download them from my site (but pm me first i need to make that they won't charge you for downloading it )

  • Vista Drivers for the Audigy 2ZS Video Editor

OK, so I know I'm only one of 20 people in the world who were ever stupid enough to buy one; but I am disappointed to see that there is so far no Vista beta driver support for the device.
Are there plans to ever support it under Vista?
As half of the internals are an Audigy 2ZS sound card for which Creative are developing Vista drivers, the job is surely half done? Modifying the existing USB video capture driver surely can't be too difficult?
Must say, that if this device is ignored under Vista, it will be the last Creative product I ever buy .....
    Nigel

I wish someone from Creative would give a definiti've answer to this question.
I've had the Video Editor for about a year so it's hardly old technology, and Vista was in development last Summer. The Audigy ZS sound drivers are being developed for Vista, how diffcult can it be to get the Video drivers modified to run under Vista?

  • Vista drivers for the Libretto U100?

I've read reports on the net of people running Vista on UMPC's such as the Samsung Q1, given that the spec of these units is lower than the Libretto it's got me thinking to install Vista on the Libretto... are Toshiba planning to release any Vista compatible drivers for the U100?
I realise it's a rare device but it'd be a nice showcase device.
    thanks.

Hi, yes, I realise the Libretto is end-of-life... which is a crying shame, it's a fantastic device.
Well, to answer my own question I loaded my Vista Business Upgrade on my Libretto U100 last night. I've previously upgraded the Libretto to 1Gb of RAM and Vista upgraded without complaint. It doesn't run Glass, the particular model of Intel graphics on the Libretto is not compatible... but the OS itself seems to run well enough.
Everything so far seems to be working... network (wired and wireless) is detected and I can connect easily to my WPA protected WLAN, the graphics drivers set the resolution and colour depth correctly and sound is working.
Hibernate and suspend behave normally (as tested so far) ... the only thing I haven't tried is Bluetooth.
    Hurrah.

There are no good or bad drivers. Maybe you do something wrong.
The fact is that all drivers listed on Toshiba support page are absolutely the same as in recovery image. So there is no difference and all of them can be used on every Vista version.

  • Are there LabVIEW drivers for the MCC USB-501 temperature logger

I am looking to purchase the MCC USB-501  and use it to acquire the ambient temperature on an event driven basis. The data logging portion is something I am interested in, I just want to have my application acquire the tempture when a certain event occurs. Does anyone have any LabVIEW drivers for this device?

I don't know what you mean by using a logger that collects data on an "event driven basis".
It is nifty little device, but it basically does one thing.  It logs data.  You load the software, configure it for when to start an how often to log data, unplug it, and put it where you want to log the temperature.  When you're done, you get it plug it back in and download the data that was logged.
There is no way to configure it to react to events.  It's possible that a LabVIEW driver exists for this, but all it would do is provide an alternate way of downloading the data instead of using the software that comes with it.  It is not an immediate or interactive piece of hardware like a normal data acquisition card would be.

  • Where are their manufacturing facilities for the iphone?

Where are their manufacturing facilities? And who are their software vendor partners?
Please anyone help me with this information i need it for a computer class.
    Thanks its much appreciated!

iPhones, as is the case with most consumer electronics nowadays, are manufactured in China as a web search would have quickly turned up. I don't know what you mean by "software vendor partners".

  • Where are updated Vista Drivers?

Right now, I'm using the 2.8.003 drivers for my X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatalty Pro soundcard on Windows Vista x32. It's driving me nuts when it takes forever for my system to shut down, but most especially, when Window's Explorer crashes whenever I try to go into Control Panel. Granted, I'm generally able to work around that issue (for the most part), but it's not right that I have to deal with it at all. I've been waiting for well over a year and a half for some drivers that work, and it's getting rediculous. Your customers deserve better treatment then this if you have any hope of them remaining? your customers.

Wasn't 2.8.005 supposed to fix the shutdown issue? Although I still have it with my X-Fi XtremeMusic.

Yes, it includes the fix but only for Win 7 as what Athros said. Not for Vista/XP.

  • Vista Drivers for 975x PUE?

So I've decided I've procrastinated enough and I'm going to install the latest Vista beta. Are there Vista drivers for the 975X PUE yet?

    I tried Vista beta...
    I hated it..
    I am a gamer..
I have a good pc and nice graphics card but...
Games run much slower on Vista..
    Frame rates are terrible...
Even with the Vista Nvidia drivers, games were terrible..
    A word to the wise:
If you play games or do graphic stuff, stay away from Vista since even Microsoft admits that right now, gaming will be slower on Vista...
    Hope that helps someone...
    Be safe and have fun...
Of course it runs slower. It's a new OS. It takes more resources to run. That's the way it's always been. I remember when XP came out, and everyone was horrified that the minimum was 128, and they didn't understand why everything was so slow on that monster machine that ran so fast under 98.

  • Vista drivers for Satellite Pro U400 series

    Hi,
I have a U400-142 (PSU45E) Sat Pro laptop. My IT guy wiped Vista off it (against my wishes) and stuck on XP. He even gave me a XP recovery disc! I've now removed XP and stuck back on Vista. Sadly the drives for Vista Business don't seem to be on the Toshiba Website (only XP). Does anyone know where I can get the drives or can supply them.
    Thanks

    Hi
I think the Vista drivers for the Satellite Pro U400 (PSU45E) will come soon.
So check from time to time the Toshiba European driver page because the drivers can be released in the next couple of days.
Please give me a feedback if you will find the drivers!!!

  • Where are the Mac Drivers for Windows 7 installation?

Where can i find the mac drivers for the windows 7 installation?

If you have a Mac with OS X Lion or Mountain Lion, they are available as a download. You can download them from Boot Camp Assistant (in /Applications/Utilities) or from the Apple site.
If you have a Mac with Leopard or Snow Leopard, they are included in the Mac OS X disc that came with your Mac or in the Snow Leopard DVD. However, as you are going to run Windows 7, you can find more recent drivers in the Apple site as Boot Camp Support Software, depending on the Windows editions your Mac supports > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5634

  • Where i download the mac drivers for bootcamp

I want to do a partition with bootcamp for windows 7, and i saw in a tutorial that i need a CD with the mac drivers for the keyboard and trackpad... I havent got that CD... Where can i download it? lot of thanks!

What year/model computer do you have? On older computers the Windows Support software is on the OS install CD. On newer computers the Windows Support software is downloaded from within Boot Camp Assistant, there is a menu item in Boot Camp Assistant to download the Windows Support software. Follow the instructions.
