The right part number for the hard drive kit is 681976-001. The support website for the laptop is on HP Sweden so run the part number on google.co.uk (or your Swedish). I have found the cheapest on us amazon for $38 or £42.

The only negative to not having the original drive will be the work needed to reinstall all the apps and reconfigure to your liking. You will also have to decide whether to stay on Lion (which you should update to 10.7.4, BTW) or bite the bullet and take a leap of faith on Mountain Lion.
In either case, to simplify matters you would do well to concoct a Lion or ML bootable installer on a USB stick. In either case, you need to get the corresponding installer downloaded onto the hard drive and, instead of running it to execute the install, extract the coveted InstallESD.dmg image from which you construct the bootable installer. You can install the new hard disk yourself if you want to. You just need a 2'5" SATA II hard drive, which is compatible with your MacBook Pro. You can buy one at OWC > http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/hard-drives/2.5-Notebook/ You can filter hard drives by computer, so press a "Click to view all...", choose your computer in the sidebar and it will give you the compatible hard drives.
There are different brands for the MacBook Pro. The most recommended are HGST and Seagate, which have good reputation. A 7200 rpm hard drive will give you extra performance

They seriously need to put it in stores or something i want to upgrade my wireless speed! I am getting bout 12 Mbps download and 5 Mbps up... Also on my ps3 lag... i have bout a 10Mbps speed on my ps3 or sometimes 2Mbps... For an upgraded router, you'll have to ask Verizon to send another one out and hope they do so. Otherwise, you'll have to ask a tech to stop down and see if he can give you something like a Rev. F. It's a gamble right now since as you stated, they don't let you buy what version of the FiOS router you want. You're basically given something that works with the service and that would be it.
How are you measuring the speed on the PS3, by the way? The speed test built-in to the PS3 is known to be unreliable and not useful for anything but a basic DSL or Cable connection. You're better off performing a speed test within the PS3's web browser to something like testmy.net or by downloading from PSN a game demo to the hard drive. In addition, you're also better off wiring the PS3 to the router. The reliability of a wired connection cannot be beat.
I would also check the Wireless speed on a Wireless PC, if possible. You may just need to change the channel your router operates on if there are other networks in your area using the same channels.
On a final note, I cannot see your attachment at the moment as it needs to be approved, second of all, you can use your own router with the FiOS service, as outlined here: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/16077

The apple store seems to believe they can replace it, but I have to make a reservation at the silly Genius Bar just to have them tell me how much it's gonna cost, not to mention then likely wait for them to order the battery and install it. I'm perfectly capable of installing it myself. I just need to know where I can order it?

Yeah, that's what I've finally decided. I was kidna super frustrated because the first apple store I called wouldn't even tell me a price or tell me if they could replace the battery without a Genius Bar appointment, and as I would have to take off work and drive acros town--and I don't have a car so I'd have to borrow one--that was pretty annoying. That call left me pricing linux laptops. I called another store to see if I'd have better luck, and the initial answer was the same, but the girl relented under some trying-to-be-nice-but-clearly-annoyed pressure, and she gave me the answers I needed: yes, they should have the battery in stock and it should be a same-day replacement that should cost $179.
It just *****, really, because there's so much about Apple that I used to love, and I'm watching it kinda melt away under their success in the mobile market. As a professional user, there's less and less reason to stick with them. Instead of being the best they can be, I feel like they're just trying to be flashier and just a little better than the other mediocre computer companies. Ugh. Anyway, now I'm ranting.

I have a 27 inch iMac using a OPTIARC DVD RW AD-5680H. Where can I buy a replacement in UK? I have seen these with SATA is this the correct cable for my mac?
I have also tried the Mac superdrive but my imac wont recognise it as it's been configured for macbook air and mini mac. I know I can "make" it work by doing something or other in com.apple/plist, but dont want to mess about in there.
I'm also told an external drive would work but does "mac compatible" mean only for air and mini as their own superdrive is or all macs?
Any help appreciated before I convince myself mac is no better than windows pc!

I can buy the drives at a dozen places but none of them seem to know what connection is correct (SATA etc) and that includes the apple store. It was the store who told me buy the superdrive and all my problems would be over. Wrong! It isn't recognised by imac as it's confifured for air and mini mac. Only way to make it work is as i said in earlier post. (Would you be happy buying a car you were told would start and then discover you have to open the bottome and fiddle to make it go?)
The apple store I would not even consider taking it to. Days without the pc, over priced and don't have a good reputation for actually fixing things!
