If you want a new MacBook, you might be able to find unsold units or demo units in stock at college stores or electronics retailers.
Refurbished MacBooks are still available occasionally through the Apple Store Refurbs. They are listed in the store when refurbished units are available, and are removed from the store when they sell out, often within a matter of a few hours: http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/specialdeals/mac
At the moment I'm posting, there are none listed.
And there are a number of sources for used MacBooks that you can locate with any popular search engine. I purchased my refurbished MacBook directly from the Apple Store online several years ago.

I am currently in Bangkok right now. I wanted to buy the new Macbook Pro with retina display. I went to Power Buy in Central world and found out that the keyboard for the macs have thai characters as well as English ones. I wanted to buy a mac with plain English keyboard. The guy in the store said that is only possible if I buy online.
Is there anywhere or any store in Bangkok where I could get the new macbook pro with an english keyboard? Thanks.

I have a Macbook Pro 15" which battery is dead. I've been trying to look for a replacement online on ebay and on amazon, and i have found several batteries that are similar, but i don't know which one is right and is compatible with my Macbook Pro. Is there any way to tell which battery is compatible with my Macbook Pro? Some of the ones i found have the correct model number and part number but has a different color. does the color make any difference?

I type German on the US keyboard all the time without having to switch keyboard layouts:
option-u followed by a u o (and other letters, too) gives you ä ü ö ï
option-s gives you ß
option-2 gives you €
You can even to French:
option-` followed by, for example e, gives you è
option-e followed by, for example e, gives you é
option-c gives you ç
option-i followed by e gives you ê
There are [many more such combinations|http://www.usingmac.com/2007/12/12/100-mac-keyboard-shortcuts-for- creating-symbols] that yield other special characters.
You can set up the built-in spell check to automatically detect what language you are writing in and you're set
Personally I find the US keyboard much nicer to work with. I'm sure your daughter will get used to it and your wallet will thank you.

the hard drive storage capacity can be increased to as large a hard drive as you can find that will fit. I believe it is currently 1.5TB.

Since the release of ColdFusion 11 I have not been able to find any resellers with ColdFusion 10 licenses for sale. I checked a large number of Adobe's partners to no avail. Does anyone know where I might find ColdFusion 10 Standard licenses?

You need to get in touch with Adobe as Adobe has a backward licensing policy via which you can get ColdFusion 10.
However, you need to purchase ColdFusion 11 first and then you will get ColdFusion 10 serial number via Backward Licensing.

Hi, does anyone know where I can get a custom MacBook? I am hoping for a new MacBook Pro for Christmas, but where can I buy a MacBook with the certain specs that I want? So I want a 15-inch MacBook Pro with a really good graphics card. But no place seems to have that specific computer! Best Buy has like 10 Macs to pick from; "Oh, I think the only MacBook Pro we have in stock has 4GB RAM, and a 256MB of graphics." I never can get what I want! and the Apple website only has certain options. It's like if I'm not satisfied with what they have right now, then I don't get a computer. True. To get new 15" non retina you have to buy close out from the refurbished or old stock from Apple products distributors ex Best Buy.

I know some good solutions to a lot of problems with Mac Pros. And other readers know a whole lot more solutions.
I do not know of any problem that can be solved by replacing these boards in a nearly-new Mac Pro. The processor board is sold as a bare board, with no processors or heatsinks. It takes an hour of trained technician time just to install the processors and heat sinks, and you MUST get the correct parts or it will not work. If your technique is not correct, the processor(s) will self destruct when you power them up.
The mainboard does not include the SATA connectors, which are actually on a wiring harness that is attached from behind.
What problem are you trying to solve here?
