Where can i download 10.1 final cut pro x?

Hi,
I need to upgrade and download the new version 10.1 on Final Cut Pro X. I've tried check the updates through the app store and no luck. Do you know where I can find it?

The App Store only sells the latest versions of apps, in this case Final Cut Pro X 10.1.2
If you have bought an earlier version of FCP X you should have no problem downloading the latest.

Disclaimer: This response assumes that a "new mac pro tower" is the new cylindrical model.
1. You cannot download Final Cut Pro 7. FCP7 is part of Final Cut Studio (2009) a.k.a "FCS3" and it was only released on a DVD set. It can still be purchased online (maybe even from Apple) for prices ranging from a few hundred to $1K and it is 5 years old and unsupported.
2. Although there are reports of systems running FCS3 on Mavericks, there are also a host of problems associated with this OS/software combination.
3. A new version of iMovie Pro Final Cut Pro X has been released which is reportedly very fast and is supported.
It's all a matter of what kind of movies you make...

AH...good.
There is no limit on the times you can install it from the DVDs. There's just a limit as to being able to run it on multiple machines AT THE SAME TIME. If your old computer dies, or you sell it (please reformat the drive so they don't get FCP for free), then you can install on a new computer fine. And you are allowed to install on (1) desktop and (1) laptop at the same time as well...but only use it on one machine at any given time. Meaning you can use it on the desktop at work, and then when away from the office, on your laptop.
Long story short...you can install it fine without any issues.

It doesn't seem to work on mine, when I go to command: the export button is in grey, whereas all the others (import; customize) are black and can be actionned. Is this a restriction in the trial version or is there a way to activate export?

Generally any Mac made since 2009 can handle FCP X.
Your small screen is not ideal unless you are young and have good vision.
However, you needn't ask whether or not your computer is suitable as you can find out yourself by downloading the free 30 day trial.

Where Can I download another copy of Logic Pro 9 for reinstallation?

Where can I download a copy of Logic Pro 9 so that I can reinstall it. I'm having so many problems with Logic I can not use it since I loaded Maverick. I tried to go to the App Store and then to Purchases and download it from there, but the message I got back was: "This Product is not available in US store."
Is there something that I am doing wrong?

You must sign in to the App Store application using the same Apple ID you used to purchase the AppStore version of Logic Pro 9 in the first place.
Then go to the Purchase tab and you will find it there.....
If you get such a message, when you click the download/install button on the far right of the LP9 entry under the purchase tab... sign out of the App Store within the Mac App Store aplication.. and sign back in again.. You probably missed signing one of the new Terms and Coditions... or you need to sign into a different server which happens automatically once you sign out and sign in again, from the App Store...

Can't Export Video from Final Cut Pro

After updated to OS Maverick, I can no longer export video from Final Cut Pro.
It pops up "The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1.)"

Trying to download video into Final cut pro from my canon XHA1 HD camera

I have a brand new I-mac 24 inch 4gs of memory and a terabite of hard drive, with Final Cut Pro 6.0.1 Studio 2. I have a brand new Canon XHA1 HD camera. when I plug in my 4pin firewire the computer it won't except the camera or the firewire, but I-movie will? the warning sign says it can't find the firewire? does any body know what settings I need to set, so my computer will except and download my video footage in final cut pro?

I've got the Canon XH-A1, but I'm still using FCP 5.1.4, for the moment. I've had no problem capturing from the camera. Are you using Log and Capture? The simplest way to try capturing, once you're in Log and Capture is to hit play in the controller section (or space bar), and then use the capture now button, once the video has started playing. There is an entire chapter in the book on how to use the log and capture facility, so I'm not going to get too detailed here. If you can't get it to work, please be specific about how far you get. Can you play the video on the camera?, Does it show the transport controls?, etc.

Hi, as the title says, I use a default final cut pro title or ending for a video and I cannot change the text, all youtube tutorials just show that you click on the text box, the boxes appear, and then to the right in the text window you literally just type and change it, which ive done several times before, but I just got a new mac, and now that is impossible to do, what can I do? That should bring up the inspector where you can change the font!

I'm trying to export my video on Final Cut Pro X the 30 day free tiral but it is not allowing me to do so, why is that?

Yes I have the project selected and when I hit share various options for where I want to share the video comes up so I hit one for instance the "Master File" I click on it and set my settings to quicktime and etc., then when I hit next it take me to a screen of where would I like to save the file at so I would put it on my extrenal hard drive. But when I got to check to see if it saved nothing is there. I tried to do Vimeo but nothing is there on Vimeo also.

There's not "share" on tool bar, but there' one under "file" toolbar.
To share, i have to add destination, but I can't add any destination

The Share button is in your image. It's the last button in the toolbar and it appears active in your screen shot.
