Where can I download a copy of Media Encoder CS6?

I installed Adobe Media Encoder with either Adobe Premiere or After Effects (I don't remember), and It worked fine for a while. But today when I launched clicked the quick launch I con it wouldn't even bring up the splash screen. I assume that a freash install would fix the problem but I have no idea where to get the installer. Please help!

There is no separate installer for AME. You need to reinstall Premiere/ AE.

Where can I download a copy of Logic Pro 9 so that I can reinstall it. I'm having so many problems with Logic I can not use it since I loaded Maverick. I tried to go to the App Store and then to Purchases and download it from there, but the message I got back was: "This Product is not available in US store."
Is there something that I am doing wrong?

You must sign in to the App Store application using the same Apple ID you used to purchase the AppStore version of Logic Pro 9 in the first place.
Then go to the Purchase tab and you will find it there.....
If you get such a message, when you click the download/install button on the far right of the LP9 entry under the purchase tab... sign out of the App Store within the Mac App Store aplication.. and sign back in again.. You probably missed signing one of the new Terms and Coditions... or you need to sign into a different server which happens automatically once you sign out and sign in again, from the App Store...

There are legally NO FREE DownLoad of iDVD - at all.
If there is no iDVD on Your Mac (and it's not on newer Macs as Apple discarded it) then You need a program that can do this.
Your Mac can burn CDs and DVDs - BUT DVD as Data-DVDs not as Video-DVDs - they need a program to be encoded and STRUCTURED as such.
iDVD is part of the boxed version of iLife'11 and can only be bought outside Apple as on Amazon and e-bay
DVD Studio pro - Part of FinalCut Studio Pro bundle - this to has expired and can only be bought second handed. (High price and tough learning Curve - but best ever done.)
Roxio Toast™ - Not as elegant as iDVD - but has many other positive additions (I like it as 10-Pro incl BD-component) (now version 11)
FinalCut Pro-X which also can burn to DVD but without any nice themes.

I'm trying to download the trial version of Photoshop CS6, but adobe just returns me the download page of Photoshop CS6 Extended. Where can I download that? Is that available as a trial?

The only way is to buy a license I have complained to Adobe for I do not want to be a beta tester and do not want to even see extended feature during a trial. I talk for over an hour with their support on the phone before paying for a licence. They told me the bug I wated fixed in CS5 was fixed in CS6 so I sprung for a license only to find out they lied the bug is still in CS6 andAdobe has added additional bugs. Things that work in the past now have bugs. IMO what I paid for is a beta not a good release so many Actions and Scripts fail if your preferences is set to edit in floading windows. The Only way to even use CS6 it to edit with preference set to open in tabs then float windows with tabs option in effect. New features support like Bicubic Automatic was not added to Photoshop Scripting which breaks Script that reference a users interpolaton preference when the preference is the default Bicubic Automatic. Installing the Script listener disables the new allow tool recording option. The new Allow Tool Recording is machine dependant recording a massive amount of data on fast machine and a small amount of data on slow machines. Playing an action that record tools on a fasts machine when played on a slow machine is unuseable. There is at least one new bug in the Action player and one new bug in the Action recorder. The there are other new features like content aware move the feature may work on a document where the move is relatily easy to pull off. Professional as well as well as amatures tha pay the price for Photoshop want tools that are well designed and work not tools that may work on some machines or work on easy problems not hard ones. IMO CS6 as is is beta code and has some design flaws as well.

(The 90 days should only happen if you use iTunes Match, family sharing, automatic downloads or redownloading past purchases, downloading the iBooks on his account will be a new 'purchase' so shouldn't result in the 90 days.)

Unhelpfully, if you want the last version for PPC Macs, you need to go here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html and scroll down to 'Archived Versions/Older Archives'. You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

There are bad reviews of every single major and minor update OS release Apple has ever created. I switched from Mavericks to Yosemite as soon as 10.10.2 was released, which fixed a good number of minor bugs. It's stable and faster than any version of OS X I've ever used.
Do not for a moment even consider getting Mavericks from any third party source. Not for $10, not for free. There's no way of knowing what malware may have been added to the installer.

I did an "upgrade" to the obviously beta version of iTunes 11, which when attempting to sync an iPhone with Ms.Outlook, displays the message, "iTunes could not sync calendars ..."
Only iTunes changed - nothing else, so it seems pretty obvious that the defect is in iTunes 11.
I hope that returning to a fully functional version of iTunes (that is, 10.7) will restore sync capability.
Does anyone know of a cache location or someone who could e-mail me a copy?

I had the exact same thing. Apple level 2 senior tech advisors and senior engineers apparently clueless about this. I spent over 7 hours last week with Apple tech support and they still have not gotten back to me with any info. I generated and sent them all my logs, etc. What a waste -- they should know about this. This is what I did, and it works:

    1.Click on Start button.
    2.Type Cmd in the Start Search box.
    3. right-click cmd.exe, click Run as administrator, and then press Continue.
    4. Type netsh winsock reset and then press the Enter.
    5. Restart the computer.

You cannot download it however it should be on the original Install Discs that came with your computer so you can re-install from there. If can't locate those then can use your Time Machine backup to restore Time Machine. Finally if you simply trashed it then look in the Trash and use the Put Back function.
