Where can I download After Effects CS5.5?

I got a new computer because my old one broke so I lost the After Effects CS5.5 and it's the only program I have a code for. I searched on the Adobe site and they only offer CS6. Is there anywhere I could download 5.5 again?

It isn't Lion. It might be the browser you are using or it could be an issue with adobe's site.
Try a different browser and if that doesn't work, contact adobe and let them know you are having problems.

Adobe Download Assistant communication error(Error 107) only when I download After Effects CS5.5

I've been trying to download the After Effects CS5.5 Trial for over a month now and it is really frustrating because I don't have a problem downloading any other adobe trial just After Effects CS5.5, it says I have a communication error (Error 107) and I know I really don't because I can download any other trial from Adobe Download Assistant. I reallly need help to try to download this program. I don't know if it is that I'm in another country, my server, or something relevant but i would really aprecite it if you could tell me why this is happening.

Can't Install After Effects CS5 Trial on Windows XP (64 Bit)

I tired to install the AE CS5 trial yesterday on my computer and it had the error message, "Adobe After Effects CS5 is installable only on 64-bit systems." My computer is pretty crappy, but it IS a 64bit system. Here are my specs of this old budget pc...
Running: Windows XP Media Center Edition v.2002 SP3
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+
2.20 GHz, 1.18 GB of RAM
I knew I would have problems running this program, but I need to at least get it installed so I can work on my animation homework. If you can help at all, it would be greatly appreciated.

Can't Download After Effects?

So I wanted to download After Effects trial version. Whenever I click on the trial button, I get redirected to the Creative Cloud App. But a download doesn't start - actually, nothing happens. So I'm scrolling down in APPS in Creative Cloud but I can't find the After Effects app. Any help?

If AE does not show up in the Creative Cloud app the your system does not meet the minimum system requirements. You may be able to use CS6... At the top of the apps list you'll see filters and versions. Click there and show Previous version. If AE CS6 does not come up your system does not meet the minimum requirements for CS6 either.
Before purchasing software it is always important to check system requirements.

Can't install After Effects CS5

Hi all
I need help; I just picked up Adobe After Effects CS5, but I can't install it because it says it is "only installable on a 64-bit system." I'm running Windows XP SP3, and I see no reason why it shouldn't work. Adobe Support Advisor also picked up no issues with it.
Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

The CS5 video products - Premiere Pro CS5 , and After Effects CS5 require 64-bit processor and OS. Please see the system requirements page for details.

I can't download after effects trail

I try to download After Effects trail but it tells me that it couldn't communicate to adobe.com and that it is an error 107, i dont know what else to do.

I would recommend completing solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1. Once completed you can then reiniate the download. I would also recommend downloading the install files to the User folder, which is default, or your desktop.
Alternately you can follow the process listed in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

Can't download After effects CC

Hello,
As the title already mentioned, do I have problems with downloading the After effects CC application.
I can't find it in the Creative Cloud >> Apps [http://i.gyazo.com/dd33eeb6856896791c7ab3f5cf387703.png], nor can I download it when I visit this site: https://creative.adobe.com/nl/products/download/aftereffects
Is there someone who can help me with this problem?

If After Effects does not show up in the Creative Cloud app then your system is not compatible. This has been asked and answered many times on this forum. You may be able to use CS6, but if it won't download it will not run on your system. Simple as that.

Can not download after effects trial on pc

So, im trying to make just a simple intro with after effects. Of course, i just wanted to try the program first. So , when i click "download trial" it takes me directly to adobe creative cloud doing absolutely nothing. I looked for a minute trying to find after effects on the creative cloud, after effects was not there. I tried many times to download the free trial just keeped doing the same thing. I don't know if it's because i have a pc , but i would really like an explanation of what's going on aswell, if i can actuly download the free trial. if anyone can solve this i would be most grateful.

After Effects is 64 bit only.
If you're running a 32 bit version of Windows then you cannot download or install After Effects - so it won't appear for you in the Cloud.

Please let us know from where you are trying to donwload After Effect CS6 and make sure your computer have 64 bit operating installed. On 32 Bit OS you would not get the access to download the After Effect CS6 becasuse it is not compatiable with 32 Bit OS.

I Can't download after effects

I went on the adobe website and found after effects, i clicked on try and it took me to the download page but when i cliked download it told me to download adobe download assistant, i already had this program so i thought it might just be a one time error, so i reloaded the page and the same thing happened. I then opened up the download assistant and tried to find After effects on the list, but it wasnt there. So is there some way to fix this?

Where can I find After Effects Tutorials to do a specific kind of animation?

I am new to After Effects and to learn it, I want to find some tutorials.
I want to jump right into this and start doing development as soon as I can.
In order to do this, I want to study tutorials that will instruct how to do effects I want in my video.
Here are similar videos to show as example. I want to know how to make text and images and maybe video clips fly onto the viewing area in a similar way that is done in these three videos:

First, if you're going to post a video that's full of obscenities, please warn us. There are 10 year olds that follow this forum and there are parents that try to watch over their children. My daughter, a regular reader of this forum and enthusiastic AE student, was humiliated when she accidentally clicked on the last video and those words started booming from her room.
Secondly, The first example and the last example are called dynamic text animations. You'll find lots of info about those on the web if you search those terms.
The second example is stop frame animation and requires a bunch of talent with a pen. If you can't draw it's really tough to do that kind of work. You could duplicate that kind of animation by setting up a high resolution digital camera above a large piece of paper and then setting up the camera to take 1 or 2 frames per second while you create the illustration with a pen. Then you bring the image sequence into After Effects, put it in a standard size composition and move it around to reveal the various parts of the drawing.
Come to think of it, please don't post videos with obcene language. Keep it PG13...

I just downloaded After Effects CS5.5 Trial and can't save my project

Everything appers to work fine. I can add video, images, sound, but when i click save-save as, nothing happens. When I close the project it asks, do you wish to save "untiled project.aep" before closing and I click yes. Nothing happens, AE closes and the work is lost. I've reinstalled AE twice. I redownloaded the installation packet the second time in case something was corrupted. I used the online chat help, but they told me to call tech support. Trouble is, they're closed for 2-3 days depending upon the holiday. If any of you folks have any ideas, please let me know. Also, I use a lot of Adobe products and as a result, I've deleted all of the preferences folders several times to no avail. I know that those can get wonky and cause issues in Adobe products from time to time. By the way, no errors are coming up. Windows Vista 64 bit

Sounds more like a systemic issue where the dialog is not displayed. Any chance you once had a multi-screen setup and didn't reset it properly? This might draw the dialog in an invisible area. Also generally check whether your file dialog may not appear below the application. As a last thing also check whether your file dialog is not reduced to a tiny spec. Strange as it is, but it's possible to resize it that way and it only appears as a random artifact...

Where can I download Windows PS CS5 extended?

Hi. I have PS5.1 extended on my computer but am living overseas at the moment and want to transfer the license to a new computer. Though I have my legal serial number I do not have my disks and I can't find the free trial download for 5.1 anywhere. I have found a few genuine type sites that purport to offer the 5.1 download but in every case when you click on the link you are taken to CS6. I have an educational copy of 5.1 and it would cost me a fortune to upgrade to CS6. So far my only solution seems to download a pirate copy from somewhere like Pirate Bay and then install it with my legal serial number but I am worried about doing this.
All the links I found throughout the internet, even those that purport to point to the CS5 trial, all now point to the CS6 trial and I found a post from an Adobe emloyee saying they no longer host the CS5 trial versions.
So far my only solution seems to be to download a pirated copy from somewhere like Pirate Bay and install it using my legal serial number (after deregistering my current computer). This seems highly risky. I could end up with no PS at all!
The fact that Adobe no longer host past trial versions sucks for someone in my position. After having laid out good money for a legal PS installation it forces us to go down an illegal and risky route that we would otherwise be reluctant to go (torrents from Pirate Bay).
Does anyone have a solution? If not would the Pirate Bay option be a safe one?
