from Sun, i'm on OS X; i have downloaded it from
Apple. i can't find the class anywhere, nor anywhere
online. ODBC (not java) requires drivers which are OS specific. So it doesn't matter if you have the JDBC driver if you can't find the ODBC driver for the database that you want.

Drivers are not part of java. They are separate products.
I suspect that, for example, if you want to connect to Oracle and you get the type 4 drivers from Oracle that they will work just fine on that OS.
You might find that for the database that you are using that there is no driver (explicitly) for that OS though.

Collage templates where can I download free and safe?

The templates for photo colllages that came with my elements are well elemental. Does anyone know where you can safely and for free (no obligation) download a few others?

It is possible to make a collage manually - why not try yourself.
Click File >> Open and select your photos
That will add them to the project bin
Then select File >> New >> Blank File
Select background color White (or whatever you prefer) and add your width and height for your final image (set resolution 72 for web usage or 240 to 300 for printing) then click OK
In the pallet bin click your first photo and drag it up into the main window on top of your new background.
Click on the move tool and click in the center of the photo and drag to arrange it where you want on the background - you can hold down the shift key to maintain original proportions whilst dragging the corner handles of the bounding box to get the size you want.
Do the same with the second photo (drag it up into the main window) and use the move tool to position it.
Finally Click Layer >>Flatten image and save as jpeg. (Save as PSD if you want to preserve the layers for editing again)
N.B. as you add images they get dropped in the center. So you need to use the move tool to drag them apart. Click in the middle of one and move it around, and then the others until you get them positioned as you want.
When you click again with the move tool a bounding box appears around the image and you can drag out the corner handles to re-size your photos. Hold down the shift key when dragging the corner handle and that will maintain the proportions of the original.
Finally click Layer >>Flatten Image and save your collage - you may then want to use the crop tool to cut away any surplus white canvas, and then re-save as a jpeg.
Otherwise google for scrapbooking sites to find templates.

Where can I download AEBS firmware v7.1.1? I have 7.2.1 and I'm having problems with Airdisk (like a lot of people are having). My router is relatively new so when I follow these instructions (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=4771213&#4771213) I don't have the option to revert to a version other then 7.2.

Not sure if this will fix for anyone else - but I have been experiencing rock-solid performance with my AirDisk and firmware 7.2.1 for the last couple of days. I tested different enclosures, drives, etc for about a week.
Initially I was having trouble with an AirDisk created from a My Book 500Gb that was split into 4 different partitions, this bought on drop-outs and lock-ups and much frustration.
Even though Apple recommend using a single partition disk I ignored this advice. I wish I hadn't, as I have now found that a single partition AirDisk works a treat.

I tried the Verizon update page, and found that it's a LOWER version than I already have!!! My router is version 4.0.16.1.56.0.10.14.4, but Verizon's version is 4.0.16.1.56.0.10.11.6
I looked at firmware updates because my WiFi speed sucks (11Mb/s) even though I have an Excellent signal. When I do a Repair, it jumps up to 49Mb/s but in a few minutes it falls to 11Mb/s.
I think I've tried everything mentioned in various forums, with zero difference. That lead me to believe that the ActionTec router is trash several months ago (hardwire connections are OK - Only WiFi is a problem).
Oh - also I keep having disconnects every hour or so - it's plaged me for years, but it's too much hassle to change providers to something besiges FiOS. That makes it impossible to use Windows the copy command (even in /Z restartable mode) to transfer backup files (41 GB or so). I have to use Filezilla FTP, which has a Resume function that actually works.
InSSIDer days that there are no strong signals nearby, just a few that have RSSI's in the high -80's and -90's. My RSSI is -49.
