Where can I download Photoshop Elements 12? I don't have a CD-ROM Drive!

I recently purchased a MacBook Air and the cd software version of PSE 12. Is there a way I can download this from the internet? I don't have a CD-ROM to install using the disc. I have already registered my product with Adobe but am unable to locate how to download the software?

Unfortunately, even if there were a download link it wouldn't help. PSE 6 had different serial numbers for downloads and boxed versions that were mutually incompatible, and back then you couldn't just enter a serial number into the trial. That's probably why adobe doesn't have a download available for PSe 6.

2. If you mean you are wondering if the software is compatible with Windows 8, I would tend to think not. Rather than buying an external drive you could consider buying the latest version of PSE instead.

But when i try to download it, i can only find the Elements 13 and not the 12.
Is there a way to download Elements 12 ? or to upgrade to 13 ?

If you have the ability to deactivate you should. If not you can contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations. You are allowed to have two machines with activated installations, so it might not be mandatoruy for you to request the deactivation at this time.

I don't think you want to download a Windows version to a Mac, but for Elements both versions are supposedly available for the same license.
You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
