my upek biometric fingerprint readers password bank feature does not yet have a plug in for firefox 6, i need to revert back to version 5 and i cant find download.

There are a lot of benefits to running the latest version of Firefox. You might want to consider running the older version on [http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable/localization#legacy36 a USB Stick with PortableApps]. That way you'll still be able to run the latest version for your day to day activities. You could also try the workaround in [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-incorrectly-report-firefox-outdated-or-in this article].
If you still want to roll back to a previous version of Firefox, just take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Installing a previous version of Firefox]].

When I dissassembled AqualLogic.WCFilter.dll which I suppose contains PTTransormer class but to my surprise did not find it. Am I looking at the correct assembly for PTTransformer? If so where can I download and install AqualLogic.WCFilter.dll from?

I download Firefox 4 which is supposed to be compatible with OSX10.4 and above. But when I click the icon I get a message that it is not compatible with version of OSX10.4.11 and it wont load

I download Firefox 4.o and drag to app folder then to dock. When I double click on the dock icon I get a message the forefox is not compatible with this version of OSX (which is OSX10.4.11). What gives?

Limewire library not compatible with version of iTunes

I have the latest update and now the Limewire folder won't open and I get a message saying it is not compatible with the version of iTunes. I also tried to download a song mp3, and it seems to download it, but I can't find it.

Not compatible with version of windows?

I have windows 7 service pack 1 64bit Operating system on my HP laptop and when i try and open Acrobatpro_11_web_wwmui.exe I am being told "the version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."
If the trial wont even open does this mean it wont work if I buy the full program?

ETA: I used the adobe download assistant to download the trial but once it has "finished" downloading the file in the graphic id doesnt run the program or do anything,

Might check the properties of Acrobatpro_11_web_wwmui.exe just to ensure nothing for compatibility mode is turned on.
Normally after the Download Assistant it goes right into the installation. Does right click Run as Admin make any difference?

I have the latest Firefox v 26 and everytime I try to add-on Lightning, I get the error message that it is not compatible with Version 26?

"Lightning could not be installed because it is not compatible with firefox 26.0" is the message I get when I try to install the latest 2.6.4 version of lightning. I also tried the later beta test version with the same results. I am running Windows XP 32 bit with all the latest updates.

I reinstalled CS6 on top of itself the install gave me three options install with a serial number, Start my subscription and install as a trial. I tried the start my subscription option. But the install did not find a CS6 subscription for my userid. I did not want to install with my CS6 serial number so I choose Trial the second attempt. The Install installed CS6 Extended but not as a trial rather it was activated for Photoshop CS6 menu help showed Deactivate not activate. Using CS6 menu Help>Update started Adobe Application Manager and it it found update 13.1.2 was available. So I left CS6 extended activated clicked update and closed CS6. The Application Manager updated CS6 to 13.1.2 without any problem. However when I tried to start Adobe Bridge CS6 I received several pop up errors stating msvcp110.dll was missing, try reinstalling the application. The same pop up error also happen when I started Adobe Bridge CC msvcp110.dll is missing try reinstalling the application. Searching this forum I found that this is a common problem with Adobe installs. That I should run Adobe vcredist_x64.exe that would fix the problem. So I searched for it and ran it and it did fix the Adobe install problems for now Bridge CS6 and CC now starts without any problem.
CS6 is now CS6 extendes at version 13.1.2... Thank you.

I downloaded the new firefox but it says it is not compatible with my MAC. Can I just go back to the old version?

I downloaded the 4.0 version of firefox but when it finished and I tried to open it it told me "You cannot use the Application Firefox with this version of Mac OS X" ...okay so I didnt know that- it just told me to download it. So is there a way to get the old version of firefox back? I don't want to continue using safari if I can avoid it.

Since you have a Intel Mac, if you can upgrade to OSX 10.5.x then you may be able to use more current releases.

I'm in an area where I can only use dial up.Right now, I use Firefox version 3.6 and have no problems with SlipStream. SlipStream is an accelerator for dial up.I want to update to 8.0.1,but it doesn't appear to be compatible with SlipStream. My local tech support (Pennswoods) doesn't think it's compatible. Sorry, you are stuck with whatever version of Slipstream that your ISP has available. They should know which versions of Firefox are supported by their accelerator plugin, because your ISP is more than likely paying Slipstream for every update that is necessary. 
Have you asked your ISP which versions of Firefox are supported by their accelerator plugin?
Beyond that, the only thing that I can suggest is to see if the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ Addon Compatibility Reporter] extension forces that accelerator plugin work in Firefox 8, with the compatibility override. But, if that plugin hasn't been updated for a Firefox 4+ version at all, I doubt if it will work even with the ACR addon.
