Where can I download Windows 10 drivers for my Aspire 4738?

You were right!, I've upgraded to Windows 10 Home, but I had some missing drivers problems (screen, ethernet and touchpad), but fortunately forcing the drivers updates from the Device Manager solved all the problems.It's a shame when a manufacturer technically tells you: "screw you, you're alone in this", that's why I don't like Samsung smartphones, they abandon you so you have to purchase a new phone every year or you're left "obsolete".

So I have the Aspire M3970 as well. I applied for the Windows 10 upgrade, and it comes back saying I'm totally compatible. Install and any connection via the Internet to Micosoft programs (Edge, Search, Store, Windows update, etc.) doesn't work. Yet Chrome and Vista do work fine. Contact Microsoft and have a tech work on my system for a couple of hours and can't fix, then books an appointment for an escalated tech to work on it. He plays around for an hour tonight and then tells me that my computer doesn't have the drivers. Then...here is the kicker, I ask him to revert me back to Window 8.1 which you have 1 month to do so, and the message comes up that the files have been overwritten. Now I'm being told by Acer that I'm not entitled for support, being told by Microsoft to wait for Acer to fix the drivers but the can install Windows 8.1 but I will lose my bought and paid for Office Professional 2010. Is everybody just turnig a blind eye to customers for years to their products?

    Sorry for the rant.  This is what happens everytime I have tried.  I actually have a booting Windows 7 partition on here already but it is barely running on the stock/generic windows drivers that are just there to get the OS through install. 
    I have an OSX 10.6 disk, but it is 10.6.0, and I wasn't even able to make that boot into the Mac installer when I installed OSX on the new hard drive.  I had to run my Macbook as a Firewire disk plugged into a Mac Pro and install it from there and update to 10.6.8.  I think this was because the 10.6.0 install disk doesn't have drivers for my 2010 revision of the Macbook Pro.  I doubt that the 10.6.0 disk has the right Windows drivers if it doesn't even have the right Mac drivers.

    It most likely is disconnected or broken if someone has been working on that iMac.
    Go to: Apple > About This Mac > More Info and in the Hardware secton select Audio (Built-in) and see if the Internal Microphone is listed there.
    If it is, then go to: Applications > Utilities > open Audio MIDI Setup > select Built-in Input and fiddle around with the settings to see if you can get it working.
    If not, then you need to have the Built-in Mic serviced and/or replaced.
    Alternately there are Mac compatible USB Mic's and iSight Cameras out there that work well with iMac's.

    I recently formated my laptop and didnt stop to think that I would need to back up my drivers. The OS was XP home edition but Ive installed XP Pro. I have lost my drivers where in Device Manager theres an exclamation mark under the heading of Other Devices:
    Base System device, Ethernet controller, multimedia audio controller, network controller, universal serial bus, unknown device, video controller (VGA compatible)
    This laptop is 2nd hand and I dont have any of the back up CDs. ekkkk!
    When I try to connect to the net whether is wireless or through a net cable there are no network configuration details. I have also lost my Toshiba software also.
    Im in deperate need of help, I would be most grateful for your help!

    I dont know if you will be able to order the Toshiba recovery CD form the service partner in your country because you have purchase this as a second hand notebook.
    However, on the Toshiba driver page you should find all the necessary drivers and tools.

    You have to install the drivers in the right order. Chipset utility and the beginning.

    You won't find them until you are in Windows.
    Helps to read even print the guide.
    If you have auto run enabled, which is a security risk, the Apple setup.exe will run.
    Otherwise, just run that.
    Either use your OS X DVD, or use the drivers downloaded by Boot Camp Assistant.
    Two different ways to get them.

    Do not worry about Linux drivers for your laptop. All needed drivers for most of the machines are on the Linux kernel. Most hardware are recognized by latest kernel. So all you have to do is install your distro and enjoy Linux.
    The best way to check if all hardware are recognized is booting up a distro in live mode and test the hardware.
    You can make a test with Linux Mint, and install their new and amazing DE called Cinnamon. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

    idk where else to get help so ima try here,
    i got windows 8 installed with bootcamp on my macbook pro late 2010 (5, 5) and theres no sound coming out of it, so i installed an nvidia audio driver (idk, it could be the incorrect one) but i have nvidia GeForce 320 on my macbook.
    do you know what i should install ?
    but when i go onto my osx the sound is fine, so i figured im missing something on windows 8

    PS: I'm using the latest MBPro (15'', 2.2GHz) with all software up to date.

    It happens close to the beginning of the Boot Camp setup process, you will be asked to download and save to an external drive (or CD/DVD) a package called Windows Support, it contains the drivers. After the download continue the setup, install Windows and boot to it, install the drivers from the drive you made earlier (run setup.exe)

    Thanks for your prompt reply. I'm not sure how to connect to the monitor as the only ports available on this model mac are Thunderbolt. The mini display to display cable supplied doesn't seem to work out of the TB port. Do I need to use a Thunderbolt cable + an adaptor?

    Drivers? You need a program to run them such as K-Jams. Then you will need to check your connections from the laptop to the monitor and make sure your settings are correct in System Preferences.
