  • Where can I find version 3.6.15 to download. I want 4.0 off my computer now!

I foolishly allowed my computer to upgrade to Firefox 4.0 this evening. Half my add-ons don't work and I don't like the way this program looks or works. I want it off my computer! Where can I download version 3.6.15? It doesn't appear to be available on the Mozilla website.

Thanks! I finally found that page this morning and was able to uninstall 4.0 and re-installed 3.6.16. Life is good again!

Where can I get Version 6 of Adobe for download?

Adobe makes a variety of different applications so which one do you mean.  Just about anything that is version 6 is likely to not going to be available anymore but if you can clarify which one you need a more definitive answer can be offered.

  • Where can i find Version Info for airport software, installed on my Imac

    I graded up to Tiger , afterwards the Airport Software update 4.2 was not offered anymore in the Apples Software Update;
So i guessed that it somehow updated allthough i didnt want it.
    But i am not quite sure what this Airport Software update 4.2 really means;
Airprt admin.utility version is 4.1.1 now. So i am not sure if the update 4.2 is done or not.
Where can i look up to find out which Airport software version is actually installed on my computer?
I searched the forum and google but i couldnt figure this out.
So i would be very glad if someone could help me by an explanation or by a link!

The AirPort Admin Utility, version 4.2, can be found within the download from the website you referenced.
    Here's how to get it.
o Download the disk image AirPortSW42.dmg. If the installer launches, quit the installer.
o Double-click the disk image to mount a volume named "AirPort 4.2 Update."
o Within the AirPort 4.2 Update window, ctrl-click on "AirPortSW.pkg."
    o Select "Show Package Contents."
    o Open the "Contents" folder.
o Double-click the "Archive.pax.gz" file, which causes an "Archive.pax" file and an "Archive" folder to be extracted to the desktop.
o Open the "Archive" folder, the "Applications" folder within it, and the "Utilities" folder within that.
o Both the AirPort Admin Utility and AirPort Setup Assistant are in there. You can move either or both to Applications/Utilities and discard everything else that was downloaded.

  • Where can I find version 2.0.3 JBoss files required to deploy IM?

The installation documentation for 1.5.0.8.1 gives URLS for required IM Downloads. The files jboss-native-2.0.3-windows-i686-ssl.zip, axis-bin-1_4.zip, Drools 4.0.7 Binaries, apache-ant-1.7.0-bin.zip, jems-installer-1.2.1.CR4.jar, and JDK 1.6. Not all of the files exist on the www anymore.
    The files I need are:
    apache-ant-1.7.0-bin.zip (only 1.8 is available)
jboss-native-2.0.3-windows-i686-ssl.zip (I could only find 2.0.6 and higher).
Can someone send me these files or tell me where I can find them to download?
I personally think this is a problem with the 1.5.0.8.1 documentation. Would you like me to open an SR as well?

You can find older releases of Ant here: http://archive.apache.org/dist/ant/binaries/
You can find olrder releases of JBoss here: http://www.jboss.org/jbossweb/downloads/jboss-native-archive.html
You can always file an SR. It probably would be better for either 1.) The documentation to be updated to more appropriate links, OR 2.) The product be updated to use the latest version(s). Either action would be awesome, and either one would require an SR to be filed first.
    Hope this helps!

  • I have version 4 installed but am needing 3.6 to do black board college classes. How or where can I locate version 3.6 and reinstall it?

I have updated to Firefox 4.0.
I am taking online colleg classes.
Version 4 is not recognized by blackboard.
Version 3.6 is noted to be certified with blackboard.
Is there a way to reinstall Firefox 3.6?

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.
For details of how to find your profile folder see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles
An alternative is to keep Firefox 4 and install the portable version of Firefox 3.6 for when you need to use blackboard. You can install the portable version on your hard drive and it is available from http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

  • I just updated to version 10 and wish to downgrade to version 9. None of my security software is compatible with 10. Where can I download version 9. Version 3.6, which is available on the website, is farther back than I want to go. Thank you.

You're better off with almost anything accept ZA and Kaspersky, they both are absolutely the worst security vendors at keeping up with Firefox updates this past year - each has had at least one Firefox add-on being many weeks or months behind Firefox's release schedule. It's almost like they don't know about the Firefox 18 week development process and they wait until their Firefox users complain about their crap not working with a newly released version of Firefox before they even think about doing their updates. IMO, the smart thing to do is to test the Nightly channel version (first 6 week alpha stage) for compatibility issues once a week to see what problems might exist with their software, and once the new version hits the Aurora channel (2nd 6 week alpha stage) start formulating a plan, schedule for what they need to be fixed and start fixing their stuff, while stepping up testing a bit. Once the new version hits the 6 week Beta channel they should be completing their fixes and expanding their testing to include combination's of the most popular add-ons being used by Firefox users so they can see any problems their users might run into and fix what needs to be fixed before the release of the new Firefox version.
One other thing that these security vendors could do is to have some of their customers do their Beta testing to find the faults and weak spots in their stuff, much like open source organizations like Mozilla does with Firefox. While I'm not a computer software professional, I have 3 different Nightly versions installed that I "test" a bit almost everyday for the simpler stuff, and the Aurora version, along with the Beta version. Over that last 6 or 7 years I have found 3 or4 pretty severe faults that I filed Bug reports about, one of which resulted in the developers providing a much sterner warning message about the risk of data loss and the other Bug reports helped the developers by making them aware of a potential problem early enough in the development that is wasn't hard to avoid the issue I pointed out to them with some minor coding changes.
Free or paid version, if these security companies are going to create and distribute a Firefox add-on the right thing to do is to keep it up to date with Firefox, or they should just discontinue the add-on and quit jerking us around with their irresponsibility and lackadaisical attitude toward Firefox. I honestly miss the "good old days" when these security companies ignored Firefox and only supported Internet Explorer.
I use Avira Personal Free - http://www.free-av.com/ - which doesn't feel the need to build add-ons for Firefox that really don't add anything to Firefox and only provide a "bells & whistles"version of something that is already built into Firefox. Good solid anti-virus protection that is updated twice daily.

  • Where can I download Version 2.2 of NI-Spy?

I have version 2.1 install which won't open a spy file obtained using ver 2.2
    Thanks
    Otman

The NI-Spy utility installs automatically with NI-VXI 2.0 and higher. It is available only for 32-bit operating systems. This utility is a powerful way to catch all calls to the NI-VISA DLL, NI-VXI DLL, and NI-488.2 DLL.
Try this link to get the latest version.

  • Where can i download version 5? my password pank from upek is not compatible with version 6

my upek biometric fingerprint readers password bank feature does not yet have a plug in for firefox 6, i need to revert back to version 5 and i cant find download.

    Hey yrram,
There are a lot of benefits to running the latest version of Firefox. You might want to consider running the older version on [http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable/localization#legacy36 a USB Stick with PortableApps]. That way you'll still be able to run the latest version for your day to day activities. You could also try the workaround in [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-incorrectly-report-firefox-outdated-or-in this article].
If you still want to roll back to a previous version of Firefox, just take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Installing a previous version of Firefox]].
    Hopefully this helps!

  • Discover Desktop - Where can I get version 10.1.2

Afternoon everyone, from this thread you may realise that I am pretty new to Discoverer in so much that I CAN'T EVEN DOWNLOAD the software. Whenever I go to download it, I only get the option to download JDeveloper 10g, and so I duly do this.
Then, when I go to JDeveloper, I can't find Discoverer Desktop.
I have done this 3 times now and I am frustrated to say the least.
    Please help me.

Another path is going via Downloads index / Developer Tools / Developer Suit 10g. On that downloads page you will find Dev Suite 10g 10.1.2.0.2 -- Oracle Business Intelligence Tools 10g (10.1.2.0.2)
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ids/index.html
A link to Oracle BI Tools directly from Developer Tools section does not seem such a bad idea....
Also, check that download because I downloaded it a few times but it was broken every time (could not unzip it properly), so I got it from the edelivery site instead.

  • My ISP only supports firefox version 6.x.x, Where can I download it?

My internet service provider only supports Firefox version 6.x.x, Where can I download version 6.0.X. I installed Firefox version 8 but it will not open, so I had to revert to version Firefox 3.6.x.

What particular ISP related thing that only supports Firefox 6.0.* ?. Or is this something that ISP support claims?
Firefox any version pretty much makes use of the internet connection to go online.
Firefox 6.0 is old and behind on a number of security updates.

  • Where can I download the last version that allows images and java script to be turned off?

Due to my often slow connection I must have the option to turn off "automatically download images" and Java script. Firefox 23 does not have those options. Where can I download version 22 or whatever the latest version is that allowed these options?
    Thanks

The Quickimage add-on doesn't work well at all, it gets stuck in the image off mode and will not switch back even after rebooting Firefox. Version 23.0 of Firefox is also very slow on my computer.
I really need to find an older version of Firefox. Any idea where to download version 22 or earlier?
