Where can I find a cross-browser bookmarks synchronizer?

I'm currently using the Xmarks type of add-ons, but Xmarks is planning to shut down within 90 days, and no replacement seems to be available.
Although Internet Explorer 8 is my preferred browser, add-ons to eliminate duplicate bookmarks appear to be available only for Firefox.
Also, I can report newsgroups spam fast enough on Google Groups that their software often confuses me with a computer program; rotating among the four browsers I have installed seems to help with this.
I'd like to synchronize the bookmarks collection among all 4 browsers; the Xmarks series of add-ons currently does this with two of them, and tries but fails with a third one; not available for the fourth.

Xmarks has now been acquired by LastPass. They're now planning to continue bookmarks synchronization (including cross-browser), but substitute the LastPass method of passwords synchronization for the Xmarks method.

Hi guys hey where can I find the media browser folder if I want to delete some FCPX videos to free up some space.

They are placed inside the project folder, in a folder called "Shared Items." The default location of the project folder is in your Movies folder, called "Final Cut Projects." On an external drive, the "Final Cut Projects" folder is at the top level.
The shared file will have a name that starts with the project name, and ends with whatever you shared it to. For example, "<projectname > - Mac and PC.mp4"
There will also be a file called ShareStatus.plist in that folder. It tracks all the instances of when you share the project. I will also control whether a little icon appears next to your project name in FCPX. Finally, if you delete an item that was shared and it still exists in that .plist file, you will see an exclamation point next to the shared icon; it is harmless but to get rid of that you need to delete the entry from the .plist file.

Hi Guys, I finished sync according to the following procedures:
1. Start Button - on your computer there is a large button in the bottom left corner of the screen. Click it.
2. Now you'll see an entry that states "All Programs". Click it.
3. Look for a folder labled "Palm". Click it.
4. Look for an entry labled "PIM Conduit Sync". Click it.
5. Choose "Sync with Outlook". Click it.
HotSync.
The question is that I can't find the contact information document after successful sync whe I start my outlook program. Where can I find it?

Where can I find the Script Browser tab?

I need to use the Script Browser function of Dir. 11.5.9. I am instructed to click Window, Script. Then select the Script Browser tab. But when I open the Script Window, I do not find a Script Browser tab. Can someone assist me?

Perhaps it's collapsed against the left hand side of your script window - can you drag it open from there?

to create a backup:
Open firefox and press ctrl+shift+b
you will get a window.
on the top right corner you can find menu "import and backup"
select "backup" from dropdown menu and choose the location.
to restore the bookmarks:
Open firefox and press ctrl+shift+b
you will get a window.

Hi Ed,
The bookmarks are stored within a file called ''places.sqlite'' which is a database, so this is changed, an individual bookmark is not stored as an html file. In addition Firefox makes some backup files automatically of with the name bookmarks, a date and the extension .json.
If you delete a bookmark from your library it will still exist for a while in the bookmarks backup. Additionaly a record of the site visit will be held in the History unless you visited whilst using Private Browsing.
If you were to delete places.sqlite note you would loose History as well as ALL your own bookmarks, including any tags keywords folders and descriptions.
Not sue whether that answers your question fully as I am not too sure what you may wish to achieve. Has something happened that you wish to prevent?

Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox.

cor-el, i tried this...it is working but it is add the new bookmarks to the default one (i want to override the bookmarks not to add them to the default).
And finally i solved the problem as the following:
1- install the firefox.
2- change the bookmarks manually (delete the old one and add the links you want).
3- package your work into dmg file.

You will still need your SN. As long as you registered, you can just add a tab in your browser and go to Adobe.com. In the upper right corner there should be a welcome with your name. Move to the small down arrow and select My Products and Services. That should give you your SN of the products that have been registered. Please make a backup of your download and SN for the future. If you had an upgrade version, you will also need the SN of the qualifying product.

There are tow ways you can handle this. One is to copy the notes to your computer using iTunes to send them to Outlook. The other would be to create or have an iCloud account so that the notes are synced online and then all you have to do is sign back in to get them.
