Where can I find a Safari 2.0.4 installer

I uninstalled Safari 2.0.4 from my 10.4.8 and need to get it back. All I've been able to find is a Safari 2.0.1 installer that won't work on my machine (it requires a 10.4.5). How can I get back to Safari 2.0.4? I need this for testing purposes and am not interested in Safari 3 at this time.
Thanks!

skwolenski,
Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Use the procedures listed in Custom installs in Mac OS X 10.4 to reinstall Safari, and then reapply the Mac OS X 10.4.8 Combo Update (PPC). This will update Safari to the most current version available for 10.4.8.
Since you have not yet updated to the most recent version of OS X, you could substitute the combo update link that I gave with the Mac OS X 10.4.10 Combo Update (PPC).

There's not a Preferences menu per se, but if you open the Settings app > Safari, there are some configuration and security items that can be set.

I've not seem one and everyone here is like you, an end-user, so would have no special knowledge that didn't violate an NDA. Apple tends to be closed-mouth and no one knows the plan until Apple releses the product or posts an announcement.
There are a lot of "Apple latest rumor" sites that make a living speculating on Apple next step, but I would not invest money based on their musings.

For the record, you can get there by going to the flash

    http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/
(Click on the support tab, and then choose Flash Player when the
support main page opens). On the flashplayer support page, there is

  • Where can I find a Safari 3.1.1 to install on a machine running 10.5.7?

I need the old Safari to access Quickbooks Online. I found a download that will install on a machine running Tiger, but not my machine w 10.5.7
The Safari at this link in Apple Downloads
    http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/application_updates/safari311.html
    will not work.

Whew! I made it back in time to download got your concoction, and Yay! It worked on my 10.5.7 Macbook Pro.
I was able to login in to QuickBooks Online, and guess what? They've now got a Safari 4 beta. And guess what? It doesn't work! To quote:
"Please read before installing Safari 4.0.3 and Mac OS 10.5.8 Currently QuickBooks Online is having issues with this version of Safari and we are actively investigating a fix. If you install the new version of Safari, QuickBooks Online may cause your browser to unexpected close. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience."
So your hard work was still needed; it makes all the difference (going over to the dark side with boot camp or even parallels to use QBO was a big fat pain); and I'm very grateful.
YAY, KJK! (sorry, I just had to; it rhymes too well --)

How can I reset Safari with all components? On my MacBook with Lion, Safari does not start, does not react immediately after trying to open it. Installing a new Safari does not help. Removing parts of Safari in the Library does not help. Where can I find and remove all components as LastSession and TopSites?

The only way to reinstall Safari on a Mac running v10.7 Lion is to restore OS X using OS X Recovery
Instead of restoring OS X in order to reinstall Safari, try troubleshooting extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect:  Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.
If it's not an extension or plug-in issue, delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
    ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

  • Where can I find the history in Safari? It shows only 2 days while I have saved the history for 1 month.

Where can I find the history in Safari? It shows only 2 days while I have saved the history for 1 month.

    Hello Barbara,
Thank you for the question.  It sounds like you are only seeing the 2 most recent days of your web browsing history in Safari.
If you haven't tried this yet, I suggest going to History > Show All History when Safari is open to see if more sites come up.  You can find this step and more information at the following link:

    SafariPreferences>Passwords>Tick Show Passwords>Enter Password when prompted>
Then, as as the system will not let you print the result directly,
    Go to Applications>find GRAB>Go to Tool bar > Grab>Capture selecton>Make your selection>then print selection
This works for me and I keep GRAB in my Dock.

  • Where can I find Safari for Panther?

I've found the Safari 1.3.1 Updater but that won't allow me to re-install Safari (only update).
The problem is I inadvertently installed Safari 3.1.1 on my G4 10.3.9 Mac (don't ask me how the installer package allowed that to be done) and that Safari 3.1.1 wouldn't open. Now I don't have a functioning Safari Browser at all.
Where can I find a full Safari for Panther?

Note that you can't simply reinstall Safari from the Panther Install disc as a fix for this problem - you need to do a full Archive & Install, or follow a more complex series of steps. This is because the Safari 3.x updater also upgraded the Mac OS Webkit to versions that are incompatible with Panther (this affects Mail, iChat, etc.).
The more complex series of steps is outlined in the first link, with some additional helpful links to Safari 1.x updates in the second link:

Where can I find a useful "user guide" I can print for an ipad2

Be green and don't print!  The iPad user's guide is in the bookmarks section of Safari.  But, because you'll be reading it in Safari, you have to be in a wifi area or using the 3G network.  However, you can download the .pdf and open it in the free iBooks reader.  Then you have it with you wherever you go and don't have to be on the internet to read it.

  • Where can I find a list of the keyboard shortcuts for editing a Wiki page, on Windows and Mac?

I tried searching in Help, but I haven't been able to find anything.  I'd like to get a list of the keyboard shortcuts that work while editing a wiki page in the Mac Server Wiki running on Lion.
When accessing Lion Server Wiki from a Mac, some of the usual suspects work: cmd+B for bold, cmd+} to indent, etc.  When accessing the Lion Server Wiki from Windows, though, I can't find an equivalent keyboard shortcut for the indent / unindent.  Where can I find a list of all of them?
    Thanks!

They are also listed in the built-in User Guide accessible directly on the iPhone in Safari.
Find the "iPhone User Guide" bookmark, then go to iPhone at a Glance > Status icons
