Where can i find all drivers for Toshiba NB520 for WIN XP??

I would like to change the system on windows XP
I found all the drivers are for win 7
Currently I have Win 7 starter and I can not do basic things like changing the wallpaper
besides, it does not work on a few diagnostic programs
entices was looking for but I found not any for XP
Can someone help page and toss with the same drivers drivers Be

Unfortunately, it seems that Win XP drivers are not available for this notebook series.
But I would recommend you to use Win 7. It looks a little bit different and you would need some time to settle down in Win7 environment but its much better than Win XP.
And you can also use the Win XP software in connection with Win 7.
In most cases the software should be compatible with Win 7. If you would get some installations problems then you could run this in Win 7 compatibility mode.

Do not worry about Linux drivers for your laptop. All needed drivers for most of the machines are on the Linux kernel. Most hardware are recognized by latest kernel. So all you have to do is install your distro and enjoy Linux.
The best way to check if all hardware are recognized is booting up a distro in live mode and test the hardware.
You can make a test with Linux Mint, and install their new and amazing DE called Cinnamon. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

You won't find them until you are in Windows.
Helps to read even print the guide.
If you have auto run enabled, which is a security risk, the Apple setup.exe will run.
Otherwise, just run that.
Either use your OS X DVD, or use the drivers downloaded by Boot Camp Assistant.
Two different ways to get them.

I want to downgrade my Vista to WinXP Pro because of some reasons.
But on Toshiba driver page, I cannot find my laptop and of course Win XP drivers I bought my laptop from USA with a bargain price. Its P305D-S8828

Hi
As you said this is a Toshiba US notebook and if you need some drivers, you should take a look on the Toshiba US driver page.
Unfortunately, it seems that the US page does not provide the XP drivers at this time.
But dont give up buddy from my own experience many different notebooks are equipped with the same devices. So usually the drivers from other series could be compatible too.
Therefore you could try to collect some XP drivers which were released for other series like P300/P305.

Hi, can anyone offer any help please?
My toshiba Satellite Pro (Model L450D) came with Win 7 preinstalled. Unfortunately due to virus, I had to format the HDD and reinstall an operating system, but only had a legal copy of Vista. Now Toshiba utilities keeps coming up with a message saying it is blocked at start-up because it is not compatible with this version of Windows (vista).
All the options to download anything for this laptop model is in Win 7, of course. Where can I find everything I need to be compatible with Vista please?

The whole problem is that you didnt follow Toshiba advice and create recovery disc. Can you confirm this?
Using this disc you can have factory settings and Win7 again.
In my opinion Vista is not solution. At first Vista is not supported so if you cannot find Vista stuff on Toshiba download page you will not be able to find it anywhere. Best option for you is to order original Toshiba recovery disc for your machine. You will get Win7 recovery image and you can use it anytime you want.

i found only "Installation Instructions" with filter by WinXP.

It seems the XP drivers for L40 PSL40E are not released at this time.
It looks like you have to wait for till the XP drivers will be published
Anyway if you want, you could try some singles XP drivers from another L40 series many notebook series are equipped with the same devices and sometimes the same drivers for example WLan, LAN, sound driver could run on many different notebooks series

Where can i find Display drivers for Portege 3480CT?

My Portege 3480 CT has been reloaded with ME after problems with Windows XP. Now i cant find suitable drivers for the Display wich only starts in 16 colour mode with a extremely small screene. I can not find any suitable drivers for my notebook except an update of BIOS on Toshibas homepage. Is my Notebook to old? I think its 5 years.

Win ME was never a supported OS on this model. Try either the Win98 or Win2000 driver. You might have to 'force' the driver into the system.

I've bought G50-115 and Vista was really frustrating me. I tried to install XP however I had many troubles that I couldn't find its drivers.
How can I find its driver for XP?

I managed to get XP working on a G50/04J and it works well. Video drivers were a bit of a nightmare.
The posts above are accurate though. Vista and windows7 are becoming more prevalent. Many features are not available for XP.
Issues with XP:
No drivers made for the glowing media buttons (they still glow and beep)
No drivers for the video resizer (the thing that resizes VGA and xVGA to HD)
Other note:
Battery life is 30% longer in vista.... more overhead, yet less power... go figure.
the 64-bit version of vista runs some software heaps quicker than XP-64bit.

Is there some other place were I can download drivers for my Qosmio G30, drivers for Windows Vista?
I have tried this hompage but I have been able to get some of the buttons to work again.
I would like to get the Play, Stop, and Skip buttons to work again.
And also the wireless hotkeys.

I have the same problem but i find the driver JDBC for informix on CD of IDS that come with the product. there is a folder marqued on it: JDBC where there is an install doc. plus a setup.class
but i coudn't execute this setup on the windows 98. I had tried java setup and i receive many error cathed... perhaps due that i haven't the internet in my work or i don't know how to execute the setup with java... i am very very newer in java world an d i'd like to learn it

I dont have my leopard disk, where can i find bootcamp drivers for vista?

i just bought a used macbook pro. the man i bought it from didnt have his leopard disk. i installed vista 32 last night succesfuly but none of the features work because i dont have the leopard disk to download the oppropriate drivers. does anybody know where i can download the bootcamp drivers for vista 32 without having to buy the leopard disk?

Hopefully, he gave you a $130 discount off the price, since you're going to have to buy a new Leopard disk. You should never have a machine without a system disk for it, since you'd be unable to recover without one if something went wrong. I don't know if you'll need it for those bootcamp drivers, but you will need it sooner or later.
(Technically, what he did is illegal... if he didn't give you the disk, he should not have given you a machine with the system installed. You're also in a bad legal position, by using a system that you do not own a copy of.)

unfortunately there are no older versions of these packages you posted available since they (toshiba driver guys) are replacing the drivers with the newest versions so the older one are not available anymore.
Maybe some search on www.google.com will bring you some results but here you wont find anything..
