Where can I find an ipad in Philadelphia or surrounding areas tomorrow?

It looks like they are sold out at King of Prussia and Ardmore Apple stores. (Birthday emergency!)

Or buy the case, print a little mock-up to put in side it... with a note explaining that it's on order. It seems that the only way to get it nowadays is by online ordering or in-store wait-list.

Where can I find an iPad iOS 6 manual?  The iPhone iOS 6 manual doesn't address iPad issues.  The manual in Safari is for iOS 5 and when I search the Apple website the first search result is for iOS 4.2.

    There was a release recently:

Where can I find the iPad back up files on my PC?

    Try "C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup".
If Moible Applications is inside iTunes instead of your media folder then you should consider using File > Library > Organize Library > Rearrange files in the folder "<Media Folder>".
See also make a split library portable.

  • Where can I find the equivalent tools in Photoshop that are in the develop module of Lightroom

    Friends:
Where can I find the equivalent tools in Photoshop that are in the develop module of Lightroom?  For example I would like to use the shadow, clarity, lens correction and such tools but cannot find them in Photoshop.
    Thanks amigos
    Migs

The obvious or not so obvious first. Depending on your knowledge. When you open a tiff, jpg, or camera' raw format they can be opened in Adobe Camera raw first which has identicle controls to lightroom's develop module.
Starting with I beleive CS5 maybe 4, some of the tools made their way into photoshop it self. Take a look at the camera lens filter, the Image>Adjustment menu or the adjustment layers which now support vibrance for example.

  • Where can I find an iPad backup file in Time Machine?

I want to restore my iPad from a backup. I know how to do this, and have already done it before.
However, this time I would like to find a backup that is stored in Time Machine. So, two questions:
    1) can I even do this?
    2) if I can, then do you know where iTunes keeps the backup files for iPad's in OS X Lion? I would assume that I should be able to locate the backup file, copy it to my current day Mac and then restore the iPad using that file, no?
In previous OS versions the backups used to be in: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
However I have searched my whole machine and can't find a single folder that is called MobileSync. It is not hidden, nor in ~Library, nor in the USER\XXX\Library, nor anywhere.
    Thank you,

That path is still correct - at least it is on my system - but unless you had Library brought out into a place where it could be found, in the Sidebar for instance, I don't know how you'd get into it in Time Machine. Try this, though: access the user's Library folder via the Go To Folder command, then drag the Library folder into the sidebar. Then run Time Machine and see if the Library folder persists in the TM interface. If it does, you should then be able to navigate into Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ and find and restore the backup folder.
    Hope this helps.

  • Where can I find the iPad textbooks?

I've looked everywhere in the iBook store and can only find the life on earth textbook, I want the biology book but just can't find it.

I'm sorry. I did not realize this until I just searched the internet and linked to the Apple iBooks app. Textbooks are only available in the US at this time - according to the description on this site - if you can even get to it.
    http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ibooks/id364709193?mt=8
    Requirements:
    • iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch must have iOS 4.2 or later
    • An Apple ID is required to download from the iBookstore
    • Automatic bookmark syncing requires an active Wi-Fi or cellular data connection and an Apple ID
    • iBooks opens books made with iBooks Author, ePub books, or PDF documents
    • To add books from outside the iBookstore, they must be DRM-free and synced using iTunes 9.2 or later. To sync books made with iBooks Author, they must be synced with iTunes 10.5.3 or later.
    • iBooks textbooks can only be viewed on iPad and are currently available to customers in the United States
    • Some PDF documents may not be compatible with iBooks

  • Where can I find an iPad mini case with a strap?

I am looking for a moderate-to-extremely durable case for iPad mini that can have a shoulder strap attachment. I am looking to use it as a communication device for  student with severe special needs, who would need to have access to it at all times. Some sort of protection for back and screen a must, but I will look at all options.

    Louis,
There are not many cases available at this time with a strap for iPad mini.  I am an Augmentative Communication Consultant and am very familiar with your quest.  Right now, your best option may be a Griffin Survivor, GumDrop Drop Tech or Otterbox Defender within a ChatBag.  I have a very large Pinterest site dedicated to AAC and Assisitive Technology and Special Education with a large focus on iOS apps and accessories as well as AAC supports.  You can find it here.  www.pinterest.com/lasenders  The options I just mentioned are on my board of iPad mini cases. The only other case with a strap thus far is the Sherpa Carry for iPad mini, but that is not super rugged.
    Hope that helps.

  • Where can I find cheap iPad Mini cases?

I recently got an iPad Mini and a case from Nordstorm. It was the only iPad Mini case that didn't cost over $50. Unfortunately, the bargain wasn't a bargain for long. Along the sides of the case, the leather started to peel off and I am unable to reattach it. Long story short, I need an cheap, but reliable, iPad Mini case. I am happy to buy online or in stores. I have looked a ton of places, but most cases are very expensive. I am willing to look at anything, as long as it is under about $25. Help?

Devicewear makes an awesome case for the Mini for $20. It covers the front and the back and in my opinion it's just as good as Apple's case.

  • Where can I find a good pool manager? or ...

I need a pool manager or I must make it myself?
which is the different between DataSource and ConnectionPoolDataSource?
if I use ConnectionPoolDataSource to make database connection then if pool manager are needed?
if need ,how to make it?Where can I find the tutorials about it?

There are a few examples of pools on the web (as the previous reply quoted), and you could try www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-06-1998/jw-06-object-pool_p.html for a tuition.
The difference between DataSource and ConnectionPoolDataSource....hmm....they are both interfaces allowing providers (JDBC driver manufacturers, J2EE App Server manufacturers etc) to implement concrete classes that comply to certain method signatures.
Basically, uisng a Datasource will return a Connection, whereas a ConnectionPoolDataSource will return a PooledConnection, which in turn will return a Connection. However !!NOTE!! these classes DO NOT create a data pool on their own, and still require you to code your own pool (which is a bit misleading when you consider the names of the interfaces).
    Hope that helps a little.

Just purchased Mac Book,   VERY  new to Mac world,   "ouch",,  I am looking to design my own website,,  is there a program built in that will allow this,  if so,, what is it called, and where can I find it???   Thanks,

There are many ways and applications that you can use to build a web site. Which will be best for you will depend on the site you want to build and your level of expertise. Many experienced web developers just use a text editor, often one with specialized features for web programming (BBEdit, for example), but there are programs that can offer additional help, up to and including "drag and drop". Without knowing more about your needs, it's difficult to offer specific advice, but here are some possibilities:
iWeb - came with your Mac. Easy to build but rather limiting in what you can do.
RapidWeaver - more flexible and capable than iWeb but harder to use; sort of an "inbetweener" application
Dreamweaver - powerful but expensive and a steep learning curve
There are of course a number of other options. If you can provide more detail about what you wish to build and your level of experience, someone can probably make more targeted recommendations.
    Regards.
