Where can i find an option to reduce size of iPhoto photo attachments to send in email from an iMac

There is an answer already on this site, but it seems very cumbersome. In Outlook, or with Thunderbird on a PC, you automatically get choices to click for the size you want to send. Is that possible on iMac?

There should have been a screen that asked when you wanted to apply the change, and it would have given you three options - Right now (it may have said immediately) with a warning about pro-rated charges, backdate to the beginning of the current cycle, or start with the next billing cycle.
When I went in and upped my data to the next tier, I got this screen - what do you see on the confirmation screen?

  • Where can I find the options for usetopicformat?

    Where can I find the options for usetopicformat? It appears that usetopicformat="0" (I'm formatting breadcrumb placeholders) ignores the style sheet and uses the settings in the rh-placeholder string).
    I'd like to put settings in a style sheet. But changing to usetopicformat = "1" doesn't seem to help.
    Are these "advanced" codes documented anywhere?
    The full context is: I'm using a fixed position on the screen so the breadcrumb doesn't scroll (which works) but the classes in the style sheet are ignored.
    Extract from topic:
    <div id="test" class="test" style="background-color: #ffffff; border: none; padding: 5px; position: fixed;
      width: 400px; height: 30px; top: 100px; right: 50px;">
    <?rh-placeholder type="breadcrumbs" ph-align="2" sep-char="&gt;" home="Home"
      usetopicformat="1" ph-style="font-family:Arial;font-size:10pt;font-weight: normal;font-style: normal;text-decoration: none;" ?>
    </div>
    Extract from style sheet:
    /*  Classes below should not scroll.*/
    p.test {
          position:fixed
          font-size: 8pt;
    Output is to Webhelp.

    Hi Tom,
    As far as I have found, using the topic style prevents Robo from using it’s own styling for the breadcrumbs. But I saw that it also adds the class ‘breadcrumbs’ to the paragraph holding the breadcrumbs. So you should be able to use the following CSS selector to style the placeholder:
    p.breadcrumbs {
                    //Your styling here

    where can i find the option to clear the application memory full

    You can purge the memory through terminal or install a memory clean app from teh mac app store, but there is no need for that because the OS manages the memory and will free up memory when needed.

  • Where can i find the option of, when i close firefox that he saves my current tabs and when i open my firefox i will still have them?

    Where can i find the option of, when i close firefox that he saves my current tabs and when i open my firefox i will still have them?

    Firefox 4 and later versions save the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.<br />
    Use "File > Exit" or "Firefox > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox") if you want to restore multiple windows or otherwise have problems with restoring tabs.<br />
    You can use "History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.<br />
    You may need to click the orange/gray Firefox button to see History.<br />
    There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default <b>about:home</b> Home page.
    Using the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" setting is a more reliable way to restore session data.
    * Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

    Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox.

  • Where can i find the option "no marker Update"

    Hi ,
    i want to know where this No marker update option is?
    Thanks in advance
    Ravi

    hi ravi..
    In the context menu of cube >Manage>Compression tab, u will find this check box.
    It holds the non-cumulative value(like stock balance).
    If you choose this option when compressing Non cumulative cube; the reference point is not updated but the request are moved to Request 0(usual compression); you must do this for compressing historical data; for example use this option to compress data before Jan 2005.
    Marker updates do not summarize the data. In inventory management scenarios, we have to calculate opening stock and closing stock on a daily basis. In order to facilitate this, we set a marker which will add and subtract the values for each record.
    In the absence of marker update, the data will be added up and will not provide the correct values.
    Compression makes the stock calculation(updation) as on the last date for which the records uploaded.So it is nothing but doing calculation inadvance rather the making system to do this calculation at the time of query execution.
    The same explained in the how to handle inventory in BIW in better way with example.
    If we donot do this compression of delta loads, the result does not be wrong but system takes more than time to do forward and then backward calculation.
    For non-cumulative InfoCubes, you can ensure that the non-cumulative marker is not updated by setting the indicator No Marker Updating. You have to use this option if you are loading historic non-cumulative value changes into an InfoCube after an initialization has already taken place with the current non-cumulative. Otherwise the results produced in the query will not be correct. For performance reasons, you should compress subsequent delta requests.
    See:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/documents/a1-8-4/how%20to%20handle%20inventory%20management%20scenarios.pdf
    When you load historic non cummulatives you need to set the "No Marker Updating" indicator if initalization has already taken place otherwise your data will be erroneous.
    chk this thread too..
    No marker update
    hope it helps...

  • Where can I find the option to backdate my data plan change online?

    I am trying to backdate my data plan change, as suggested by an email from Verizon to avoid overage charges. My billing cycle ends in a few days. I went through the online process of changing the data plan, up to the point before clicking on "confirm", and I still don't see the option to backdate it. Where is it?

    There should have been a screen that asked when you wanted to apply the change, and it would have given you three options - Right now (it may have said immediately) with a warning about pro-rated charges, backdate to the beginning of the current cycle, or start with the next billing cycle.

  • Where can I find the "event" information I had in iPhoto events in new photos app?

    Just upgraded to OS X and the new Photos app and I am having a hard time adjusting from iPhoto where I had (happily) organized years of photos into events. I can see my 771 "events" now called albums in a sub-album called "iPhoto events" HOWEVER, I cannot seem to find/view the little notes or summaries of event information that I had inputted in iPhoto.  I often wrote a brief (or detailed) bit of information, anecdotes or fond memories about various "events" and now I am frustrated that might all be gone. Can anyone help?

    Oops Sorry Jumped the gun again! i found out how to do it. I was using my jot touch styles which mean you have to hold down the icon on the upper left with the styles then use your fingers to do the pinch and zoom gesture to make it work

  • Where can I find a complete list of editing tools in Photos?

    Is there a spec or an Apple document that describes Photos in more detail than what's on Apple.com at:  https://www.apple.com/osx/photos/   ?

    Get started with Photos for OS X
    Use Photos and iCloud Photo Library on multiple Mac computers
    Find out how much iCloud storage you need for your Photos Library on your Mac
    Open Photos with a pic or two to work on. Select an image and double-click to open it in large view. Click on the Edit button on the top right. Now you can examine all the available editing tools.

  • Where can i find info on how to backup contacts and photos on iphone

    All I want to do is upgrade my os without losing data. How can i back up my data without using itunes?
    I tried itunes several times and it does not work. BTW i do not want to sync the phone, just back up data..

    Backing up photos: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.  For contacts, you should be syning with a supported client via iTunes (Outlook 2003/2007/2010, Mac Address Book, etc.).  If you don't want to do that you could use the free app My Contacts Backup, which will create a backup that can later be used to re-import to your iphone in the future, if necessary.  If you want more comprehensive solutions you could purchase 3rd party software such as PhoneView or Touch Copy.

    where can I find the Iphone backup files?

    The following claims the ability to extract Notes from a backup made using iTunes. I haven't used it so can't comment on how well it works. Once extracted the Notes would be readable on your computer but you would still need to get them back to the new phone. http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/ibackupextractor/

I cannot find information about redo log buffer in this page. I wonder why the information about redo log buffer is not included in this page.Where can I find it?

    The Log Buffer is part of your Intialization Parameters.
    So, from EM, you can find the information you need when you select the Database > Adminstration > All Initialization Parameters (under Database Configuration)
