Where can i find/and remove the HD of a toshiba satellite 1620 CDS?

I have a problem with my harddisc of my toshiba 1620.
I want it to be replaced but when i unscrew the back cover of the laptop there is no way i can remove the cover.
Can someone tell me how to access the HD ?

As far as I know the HDD is placed under keyboard. Keyboard is fixed with 4 screws. Remove them and place the keyboard (face down) on the touch pad. You will see two screws who secure the HDD. I hope that you know what you must do now.
Please be careful because all this hardware parts are very sensible and you can damage it. If you are not sure that you can do it alone, contact service partner. If you handle on the wrong way the HDD pins can be damaged.
If you do it alone you do it on your own risk.

The only way to reinstall Safari on a Mac running v10.7 Lion is to restore OS X using OS X Recovery
Instead of restoring OS X in order to reinstall Safari, try troubleshooting extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.
If it's not an extension or plug-in issue, delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

I never bought anything used or refurbished until last Summer when we bought two refurbished 64 gb ipad 2's on the Apple website. We waited until the next version came out (discontinued after only months on the market,) read about the problems some were having with them, and decided to buy new ipad 2's with 32 gb. We couldn't find them anywhere, so for the first time we bought the ipad 2's after reading about them.
Each refurbished ipad comes with a new outer cover (back and front,) a brand new battery, and a full one year warranty.
They have been great, have no overheating problems, batteries last a long time, etc. Eventually, like all tech products, we will not be able to upgrade the ios, but we can when the new ios comes out. So it's still supported and stores still sell the ipad 2 16 gb in stores, so...
If your aunt does not need to use it for much, she can buy an ipad 2 with 16gb in the Apple refurbished store on the website for $319.00. A 32 gb for $399.00, and the 64 gb for $499.
I strongly suggest NOT buying a used or refurbished ipad anywhere but the Apple online store. (Apple does not sell them in their stores.) Shipping is free and fast. And whne your aunt gets the box, it's the same as if it's new. It comes with a new charger, too. So she'll be set. Please note that if she wants the 32gb ipad 2, they are not on the website as often. All of the ipads come and go, even on the same day, so if she sees what she wants, she should buy it. If she's not happy with it, she also has 14 days to return it.

Ok, I feel like a real dummy but for some reason when I installed the Logic 9 upgrade (upgraded from Logic 8) all the "record" radio buttons on the audio channel strips were missing. (They are there on the instrument channel strips.) Can anyone tell me how to get them back? I checked all the preferences I could find but somehow I'm not finding the one that will get me back my "record" radio buttons.

They should be there on both. Only frozen SI tracks loose theirs (obviously), but my question earlier is irrelevant: even with no input selected there still ought to be a record button on the track header.
OP: have you looked at the configuration of the track header? ctrl-click in it to find out.

There is no download for the software. The factory software that you are looking for is called ilife. It is all of the software that would have came preinstalled with your mac on your original hard drive when you first bought it. You will have to get new software on your computer. This might actually be a great opurtunity to upgrade to Lions. Search the Lions software in the mac store and it will come up. Click add to cart and check out. The price for it is $20. I defientely recomend Lions, it has alot of new great features. Then wate for the install disk to come in the mail. when it come just pop it in and follow the step by step instructions. If you dont want to upgrade to lions however you can download the ilife package from apple.com for a small price. Hope this helps.

Unfortunatley I still can't find were I download the program. Following your suggested link I get to the window below.
When I click the "Creative Cloud" Icon it takes me to a new page.
On that page see below there are a lot of programs like Photoshop etc. but there is NO icon for Creative Cloud.
It looks the same when I log in. Any suggestions?

I was in my local Apple store looking at the new iPhones. I wanted to compare coverages between carriers in order to make the decision on what to buy. Although they had rate information for each carrier, on their "compare carrier" app on the iPads, all I could see were the AT&T maps. I would have liked to see this at the Apple store instead of relying on the carrier websites or stores as I felt like it might be less biased if I could. Has anybody else noticed this? Where can I find and compare carrier coverage at the Apple Store?

It's always a good idea to let people know everything you did try or you risk people telling you to do things you've already done.
I'd suggest doing an internet search for "compare wireless carriers" or similar. One of the hits I got on the first page was this:

You can also go to carriers' websites directly. Most will have maps that will let you put in an address or zip code to look at coverage.

Yes, the duplicates appear in the iPhoto window. I have folders with same name occuring two or even three times sometimes with exactly the same set of photos (ie photos with the same ID) and sometimes with a limited set of photos. Other folders appear only once.
I normally take my MacBook with me if I'm shooting a lot of photos, such as on holiday, and then want to transfer them to my iMac when i get home. Other times I transfer the camera's memory stick directly to my iMac.
I have great difficulty transferring the photos from my MacBook to my iMac. I don't want to store my photos on my iDisk due to the length of time it takes to upload them.
