Where can I find DSM log

I am running EP7 SP7 and I turned on the DSM logger. Where can I find the DSM log ? EP is on a UNIX server.

You can see the DSM logger on the EP server itself.
1. Logon as an administrator
2. Click on System Admministration tab
3. Under Detail Nav choose Support->Support Desk
4. Under support desk, choose SAP application
5. You should see DSM Logger and DSM Monitor

For 2 weeks ago I was searching for a log file on my server. Somehow I opend a file where I could see a list of all bash-commands I had ever entered into OSX Terminal.

Where can I find a log of action center/security?

I have a message in Action Center under security that says it has found a malware on my computer.
Where can I find a log of which file and location it was?
It only states the malware-name. No location or filename.
Also note that this is not my antivirus (system center endpoint protection) who located the malware. And it was not the mrt.exe either. I checked that log and it is clean.

I don't have Win 7 right now, but in Win 8 you can check archived messages option on lect side when you browse to :
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Action Center
Can you check this ?

Our customer needs the information about redo log buffer. But In administrator--database configuration--memory parameters item of grid control 10g, I can only get the information about buffer cache & shared pool, as well as the corresponding advice. I cannot find information about redo log buffer in this page. I wonder why the information about redo log buffer is not included in this page.Where can I find it?

The Log Buffer is part of your Intialization Parameters.
So, from EM, you can find the information you need when you select the Database > Adminstration > All Initialization Parameters (under Database Configuration)

WD app Deployment Error - Where can we find J2ee log file for linux install

I have a problem with deploying a web dynpro application. There are no errors before deployment but when I deploy the application, I get a deployment error with the following description.
I tried to view the trace or log file but we have SAP installed on a linux OS and I do not know where can we see the log or trace file. Please help.

Hope you are doing good.
You can set the trace level in the SAP/Java Gui dynamically :
Call transaction SMICM
Choose the menu Goto → Trace Level → Set
In the pop-up window, set the desired level (0,1,2,3)
To switch on an /nSMICM or ICM HTTP trace via command line you should go to
usr\sap\<SID>\<instance_number>\exe directory and run the icmon program with the following command:
icmon◦◦pf=\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\profile\<SID>_<instance_name>_<HOST>
where you fill in the SID, instance name and host corresponding to your system.
The icmon program is interactive and to increase trace level you must write
"+" and pres enter.To quit you must write "q" and press enter.
The trace will be written◦to the following file: usr\sap\<SID>\<instance_number>\work\dev_icm

Where can I find the LOG of all sql

Is the a file where I can find a log all the sql that have be running on the database?
I want to fond an sql query that is causing an error but all I have is an error message and I would like find a file with all the sql that have been run against a database instance.

There is not one. You can see what has been executing recently in v$sql, or v$sqlarea, or v$sqltext, or v$sqltext_with_newlines. v$sql has sql_text and sql_fulltext. sql_text is the first 1000 bytes of sql_fulltext.
Now you know why we instrument out code - so it tells us what bad thing happened, where it happened, when it happened, and the conditions under which it happened.

Where can I find a log of all the system changes to workspace

I'm looking to find a log that tracks when new metadata files are loaded into Workspace, or a new rules file and if it tracks what was changed in the new metadata load.

There is no way to view a history of the cards that you have redeemed.
When you redeem a card, check immediately that your credit balance has been incremented by the appropriate amount.

Where can I find Event Log ID's, produced by Intel ICH9R RAID controller on Windows Server 2003?

I need to monitor RAID errors and events by parsing Event Log, but I need a list of possible errors that I can find in event log. I'm using Intel ICH9R RAID controller. Server manufacturer (SuperMicro) said, that errors, produced by controller, are interpreted
by Winows and than are put to Event Log, so I need to find this info somewhere else.

As far as I know, there isn’t such as list present those Event Log ID’s for Intel ICH9R RAID controller, you may contact Intel to perform
the further research, you may also wait for other customer's experience sharing on this.
By the way, based on my experience, most of the IT guys will use the monitor application/toolkit comes with the RAID controller, so you may contact Intel

2 ways for accessing log:
1) browse portal filesystem : \usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\<server instance>\log\
2) use sap log applications
I suggest you to use logviewer or visual admin(it contains logviewer) applications. It will display formated logfile and you will be able to filter on severity / User Name / date / .......
if you are using visual admin, just connect with Visual Admin then browse to <server name> / services / log viewer then again <server name> \usr\sap\J2E\JC00
j2ee\cluster\server0\log and then click on defaultTrace.trc
it is pretty the same navigation when using logviewer

Where can i find the start up log?

when arch boot's up the deamons i get a [Failed] but it goes so fast.. and the boot is on 1024X768 so i cant see who failes... and then when x start's it clears the console.
where can i find the boot log file? (i looked in /var/logs i have no idea which one)

Depending on what you're looking for, dmesg and the like are often no help whatsoever.

For the installer log file, search for Sun_Java_Studio_Enterprise_6_2004Q1_install, or some portion of that.
To find Java ES component product log files, search on Sun_ONE.
You can also search for the timestamp that is part of each log file name. It is of the format MMddhhmm (Month/day/hour/minute)
Refer also to the Troubleshooting chapter of the Installation Guide for additional details on reports and log files used by Java SE

is not the Home Folder/Library.
This one is
On your Mac there are three Libraries that you can easily access.
There is the one your describe Hard drive/Library
The one in Hard Drive/System/Library.
And the one in Hard Drive/Users/Your Shortname(home folder)/Library also known as ~/Library for short.
My Hard Drive is called Macintosh Int HD (for Internal as I have an Cloned External that ended up with the same name)
To access the Home folder one you need to hold down the ALT key whilst using the Go Menu in any Finder window.
