Where can  i  find infomation where  i can understand  those tables

Hi:
    Where can  i  find infomation where  i can understand  those tables like as /BI0/*** in the master data/text in the infoobject tab page.
    or who can tell me the use of these tables.
   thanks!

Hi,
The full table name is /BI*/&<IO_NAME>.
where * = '0' or 'C'.
'0' goes for SAP delivered IO, 'C' - for custom one.
The next letter (&) will tell you about type of the table: 'P' - for attributes, 'T' - for texts etc. Then the name of the IO goes.
Best regards,
Eugene

    Hi !
    Just one question:
    I would like to found where can I see tables or structures changes across differents releases of SAP R/3?, i tried to found a doc about this... but i couldn't found it.
    For example, which table have been modify form version 4.x to 4.z, i mean fields added or modified, etc...
    Thanks in advance,
    Albio.-

    Hi Albio,
    You can do this. You can check the activation log of any table which you have to find for change history.
    Just go to se11 and type the table name click on display and then go to utilities -> then activation log, it will show you all the changes made to table

  • How can I pass multiple condition in where clause with the join table?

    Hi:
    I need to collect several inputs at run time, and query the record according to the input.
    How can I pass multiple conditions in where clause with the join table?
    Thanks in advance for any help.
    Regards,
    TD

    If you are using SQL-Plus or Reports you can use lexical parameters like:
    SELECT * FROM emp &condition;
    When you run the query it will ask for value of condition and you can enter what every you want. Here is a really fun query:
    SELECT &columns FROM &tables &condition;
    But if you are using Forms. Then you have to change the condition by SET_BLOCK_PROPERTY.
    Best of luck!

  • Programs which can trigger GLPCA table entries

    Hi SAP Community,
    I am looking for a complete list of programs which can trigger GLPCA table entries. I am currently in the process of running related transactions manually, but to be on the save side, I would really appreciate the feedback from you guys.
    Thanks in advance for your support.
    Cheers,
    Chris

    Hi,
    You can find the programs where the table GLPCA is being used. For this use transaction code SE11 and enter the table name GLPCA and click on the icon where used. A pop up window will be displayed and you can click on Programs only. This will display all the Programs where the table GLPCA is used including any Z programs developed in your system.
    Thanks

  • Problems about SQL (conversion to a form that Oracle can understand)

    how can I convert this SQL into a form that Oracle can understand??
    Select Temp.Country_name, number1
    from (Select L.CID, C.country_name, count(*) as number from Leagues L, Countries C
    where L.cid = C.cid and L.season = 'Autumn'
    Group By L.CID, C.country_name) AS Temp
    where number1 = (Select MAX(Temp. number1) from Temp)
    ORDER BY Temp.Country ASC;
    this query is to find the country that held the maximum number of leagues in "Autumn". Display the country_name and number. Sort the result according to country_name in alphabetical order and it should be allowed in SQL/92.
    relational schema of Leagues ( LID(PRIMARY KEY), LEAGUE NAME, CHAMPION_TID, YEAR, SEASON, CID)
    COUNTRIES (CID, COUNTRY_NAME, FOOTBALL_RANKING)
    Thank You.

    Hi,
    Welcome to the forum!
    Sorry, I don't know what's allowed in SQL/92.
    This works in Oracle 9 (and up) and doesn't rely on anything that I know is an Oracle-specific feature:
    WITH       country_summary     AS
         SELECT       c.country_name
         ,       COUNT (*)          AS country_total
         FROM       leagues     l
         JOIN       countries     c     ON     c.cid     = l.cid
         WHERE       l.season     = 'Autumn'
         GROUP BY  c.country_name
    --     ,            c.cid          -- needed only if country_name is not unique
    SELECT     *
    FROM     country_summary
    WHERE     cnt     = (
                    SELECT  MAX (cnt)
                    FROM    country_summary
    ;Here's another way, which works in Oracle 8.1 (and up):
    SELECT  *
    FROM     (
              SELECT       c.country_name
              ,       COUNT (*)                         AS country_total
              ,       RANK () OVER (ORDER BY COUNT (*) DESC)     AS rnk
              FROM       leagues     l
              ,       countries     c
              WHERE       c.cid          = l.cid
              AND       l.season     = 'Autumn'
              GROUP BY  c.country_name
         --     ,            c.cid          -- needed only if country_name is not unique
    WHERE     rnk     = 1
    ;By the way, do you find it easier to read and understand code when it's formatted like the examples above, or as you posted it?
    Help the people who want to help you. Always format your code. When posting any formatted text on this site, type these 6 characters:
    \(small letters only, inside curly brackets) before and after each section of formatted text, to preserve spacing.

    Revised 2nd option, because Oracle 8.1 can't use ANSI join syntax.

    You may need to adapt the string parsing beneath the function, if the text you posted is not literally identical to the way this function returns it. It worked for a string block acquired via copy&paste from your post anyway. :)
    I certainly would be more than happy to read a more elegant version, if someone has one to offer.

  • How can I link table KONV with table VBRP and VBRK using KSCHL field?

    Hi experts,
    How can I link table KONV with table VBRP/VBRK using KSCHL field so that items are fully filtered?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    If you do not want to specify it as hard code, then define a variable for it if you want to pass the value for it from the selection screen so that it will be dynamic. Code will be as follows.
    select-options: x_KSCHL for T685l-KSCHL.
    select kwert
               kbetr
               knumv
               kposn
               kschl
          from konv
          into CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE it_konv
          FOR ALL ENTRIES IN it_all
          where knumv = it_all-knumv
          and   kposn = it_all-b_posnr
          and   kschl in x_KSCHL. "Dynamic Selection as per the selection screen input
      endif.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi All, How we can handle a table control in bdc - in detail its urgent. Please send me the explanation in detail.
    Thanks&regards.
    Bharat

    hi,
    Create Table Control
    • Step 1 (Create new structure for table control)
    Type is name of structure (ZTC_EKKO) and press create
    • Step 2 (Create Program)
    Goto transaction SE80(Object Navigator) -> Repository Browser -> Program.
    Enter your program name, please ensure that is begins with SAPMZ…… as this is a module pool (dialog program).
    Press enter to create, and press yes!
    Ensure that you create a top include, and press Enter.
    Accept the name created for the top include.
    Press Enter.
    Press Save
    • Step 3 (Create TOP include)
    Double click on the top include and enter following ABAP code:
    Tables: ZTC_EKKO.
    controls: tc100 type tableview using screen 100.
    data: ok_code type sy-ucomm.
    data: it_ekko type standard
    table of ZTC_EKKO initial size 0,
    wa_ekko type ZTC_EKKO.
    data: ok_code type sy-ucomm.
    Press Save and Activate
    • Step 4 (Create screen)
    Right click the program to create a screen 100 for the dialog. Enter Short description, set screen type to Normal and enter 0 or blank into Next screen. Then move to Element List tab and enter the OK code as OK_CODE (i.e. the same as what you declared in the top include with data: ok_code type sy-ucomm).
    • Step 5 (Create table control)
    Press the Layout button to bring up the screen painter editor.
    Press table control button and drag it on to the screen, enter the name of table control created in TOP include (TC100). Now press the yellow button for attributes and set the table control as below options
    • Step 6 (Populate table control )
    Press the orange button (Fields). On the next screen enter ZTC_EKKO and press the ‘Get from Dict’ button. Select the fields you want (all) and press enter. Now drag them onto your Table Control.
    Below is the result, there will been syntax errors if we check now! So Save and go back into the flow logic tab.
    • Step 7 (Create flow control )
    Within the flow logic of screen 100 and create two modules, one to select the data from the database and the other to move the selected fields into the table control. Also insert the two loop statements to populate and retrieve the lines of the table control.
    PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
    MODULE STATUS_0100.
    module data_retrieval.
    loop at it_ekko into wa_ekko with control TC100.
    module populate_screen.
    endloop.
    PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
    loop at it_ekko.
    endloop.
    MODULE USER_COMMAND_0100.
    Double click the module data_retrieval to create and click yes to get past the popup. Ensure that a new include is created to hold all the PBO modules (default). Press enter.
    Select 10 rows of data from the EKKO table and load into the internal table it_ekko. Go back to the flow logic to load this data into the Table Control.
    check this one

  • UPDATE QUERY can't update table

    Hi,
    During 1500-2000 concurrent users, DB Transaction locks occur. So that Update query can't update table and we get inconsistent data. How can we avoid this inconsistent data?? Why we get transaction locks??
    Eg. In update query it update the status of user with completed; but because of transaction lock  update query can't update status of user it remains uncompleted. So we can get wrong status of user(inconsistent data). Why UPDATE query update the status
    of user???
    update table set status='completed', date=@p2,score=@p3 where id=@p1

    You are not getting inconsistent data, you are getting the data according to the isolation level you are running under. The isolation level determines the locking model and therefore determines any bad dependencies you may experience. Reducing the bad dependencies
    through higher isolation level will lower concurrency. *This* is the core concept of Transactional Processing theory.
    Furthermore there is not really such a thing as a DB Transaction lock - at least not in the way you mean. SQL server does use DB locks (such as Shared transaction workspace and Exclusive transaction workspace) but the highest level of lock escalation is
    the object level (heap or btree) so those are the things you are really interested in. In the ideal would you want all Exclusive, Shared and U locks to be taken at the RID (heaps) or Key (cluster tables) level - and only have few of them per query.
    In conclusion think carefully about your query and how it is implimented under the covers by the database engine.

  • How can I create tables (data dictionary) on SAP Environment in BATCH mode?

    I need a Help on Table Creation on SAP in Batch Mode. I don't want to use SE11 and manually enter all 2000 table definition in the Front END. Is there any way where I can create a tables on SAP in Batch MODE. I want to create around 2000 tables, where schema is generated from external source.  As we know table created from Native SQL will not be available in SAP Application Layer.

    Hi Kenneth,
    Which version are you in? I'm on 4.7 and i have the class on my system.
    You may even try using the Function module that i had mentioned in my earlier post. That might solve your problem.
    Please write back if you problems decides to have a date with you.
    Thanks, Debasish

  • Can we make table type layout created by af.query (af.panelformlayout)

    in Jdev 11g by default search results are displayed in form type when we create query, is there any way we can make it table type so that i can see more than one record.
    Lalitha

    Hi,
    can you be more specific? If you mean af:query where you want to define search criteria and see the result in table, you can create view criteria for view object in query tab and drag&drop this from data control palette as named criteria to .jspx as query with table

    I own an Apple Quicktake 100 but unfortunately I dont own a Mac OS 7 and below. Is there still a way that I can transfer those photos taken? Please help.

    I don't know anything about the transfer process but I found some links that might possibly help you. Also some sites that deal with older and obsolete Mac products that have forums where you could make additional inquiry. Good luck.

  • How can we use TABLE CONTROL in BDC and WORK FLOW of ABAP.

    how can we use TABLE CONTROL in BDC and WORK FLOW of ABAP.?
    please explain the important questions.

    How to deal with table control / step loop in BDC
    Steploop and table contol is inevitable in certain transactions. When we run BDC for such transactions, we will face the situation: how many visible lines of steploop/tablecontrol are on the screen? Although we can always find certain method to deal with it, such as function code 'NP', 'POPO', considering some extreme situation: there is only one line visible one the screen, our BDC program should display an error message. (See transaction 'ME21', we you resize your screen to let only one row visible, you can not enter mutiple lines on this screen even you use 'NP')
    Now with the help of Poonam on sapfans.com developement forum, I find a method with which we can determine the number of visible lines on Transaction Screen from our Calling BDC program. Maybe it is useless to you, but I think it will give your some idea.
    Demo ABAP code has two purposes:
    1. how to determine number of visible lines and how to calculte page number;
    (the 'calpage' routine has been modify to meet general purpose usage)
    2. using field symbol in BDC program, please pay special attention to the difference in Static ASSIGN and Dynamic ASSIGN.
    Now I begin to describe the step to implement my method:
    (I use transaction 'ME21', screen 121 for sample,
    the method using is Call Transation Using..)
    Step1: go to screen painter to display the screen 121, then we can count the fixed line on this screen, there is 7 lines above the steploop and 2 lines below the steploop, so there are total 9 fixed lines on this screen. This means except these 9 lines, all the other line is for step loop. Then have a look at steploop itselp, one entry of it will occupy two lines.
    (Be careful, for table control, the head and the bottom scroll bar will possess another two fixed lines, and there is a maximum number for table line)
    Now we have : FixedLine = 9
                  LoopLine  = 2(for table control, LoopLine is always equal to 1)
    Step2: go to transaction itself(ME21) to see how it roll page, in ME21, the first line of new page is always occupied by the last line of last page, so it begin with index '02', but in some other case, fisrt line is empty and ready for input.
    Now we have: FirstLine = 0
              or FirstLine = 1 ( in our case, FirstLine is 1 because the first line of new page is fulfilled)
    Step3: write a subroutine calcalculating number of pages
    (here, the name of actual parameter is the same as formal parameter)
    global data:    FixedLine type i, " number of fixed line on a certain screen
                    LoopLine  type i, " the number of lines occupied by one steploop item
                    FirstLine type i, " possbile value 0 or 1, 0 stand for the first line of new                                                               " scrolling screen is empty, otherwise is 1
                    Dataline  type i, " number of items you will use in BDC, using DESCRIBE to get
                    pageno    type i, " you need to scroll screen how many times.
                    line      type i, " number of lines appears on the screen.
                    index(2)  type N, " the screen index for certain item
                    begin     type i, " from parameter of loop
                    end       type i. " to parameter of loop
    *in code sample, the DataTable-linindex stands for the table index number of this line
    form calpage using FixedLine type i (see step 1)
                       LoopLine  type i (see step 1)
                       FirstLine type i (see step 2)
                       DataLine  type i ( this is the item number you will enter in transaction)
              changing pageno    type i (return the number of page, depends on run-time visible                                                                             line in table control/ Step Loop)
              changing line      type i.(visible lines one the screen)
    data: midd type i,
          vline type i, "visible lines
    if DataLine eq 0.
       Message eXXX.
    endif.
    vline = ( sy-srows - FixedLine ) div LoopLine.
    *for table control, you should compare vline with maximum line of
    *table control, then take the small one that is min(vline, maximum)
    *here only illustrate step loop
    if FirstLine eq 0.
            pageno = DataLine div vline.
            if pageno eq 0.
               pageno = pageno + 1.
            endif.
    elseif FirstLine eq 1.

                    pageno = pageno - 1.
            endif.
    endif.
    line = vline.
    endform.
    Step4 write a subroutine to calculate the line index for each item.
    form calindex using Line type i (visible lines on the screen)
                        FirstLine type i(see step 2)
                        LineIndex type i(item index)
              changing  Index type n.    (index on the screen)
      if  FirstLine = 0.
            index = LineIndex mod Line.
            if index = '00'.
                    index = Line.
            endif.
      elseif FirstLine = 1.
            index = LineIndex mod ( Line - 1 ).
            if ( index between 1 and 0 ) and LineIndex gt 1.
                    index = index + Line - 1.
            endif.
            if Line = 2.
                    index = index + Line - 1.
            endif.
    endif.
    endform.
    Step5 write a subroutine to calculate the loop range.
    form calrange using Line type i ( visible lines on the screen)
                        DataLine type i
                        FirstLine type i
                        loopindex like sy-index
            changing    begin type i
                        end type i.
    If FirstLine = 0.
       if loopindex = 1.
            begin = 1.
            if DataLine <= Line.
                    end = DataLine.
            else.
                    end = Line.
            endif.
       elseif loopindex gt 1.
            begin = Line * ( loopindex - 1 ) + 1.
            end   = Line * loopindex.
            if end gt DataLine.
               end = DataLine.
            endif.

    elseif FirstLine = 1.
      if loopindex = 1.
            begin = 1.

                    end = DataLine.
            else.

  • Can we access tables created internally for Business objects in CAF

    Hi,
         When we create and Deploying Business objects in CAF then internally it creates tables in Oracle/Maxdb database. Can we access those tables through CAF.
              Or is it possible for Oracle to access the Business objects tables which are deployed on SAP Web Application server?
              We can configure the Oracle driver in the SAP Web App Server. But how can we use it?

    Hi Rohit!
    Can we access the tables created internally for BO's without the use of CRUD methods provided by them.?
    Or
    Can we fire queries on these tables through Oracle.? As the tables are created along with BO's in the database.
    Maybe, you can do that, but why do you want to do that?
    Based on the Entity Services (i.e., CRUD and find operations) that are generated for your BOs, you can implement Application Services which contain any business operation that you want to perform. Furthermore, you can expose your Application Services as Web Services. That's the designated way to do that.
    Manually manipulating the underlying database tables does not sound like a good idea.
    Best regards
    Alexander
