Where can I find my gifted apps?

Hello,
I have just bought a Pro. My mum bought me the Pages, Numbers and Keynote apps and gifted them to me. I downloaded them all through the email that was sent to me. I cant find them on my Pro, but can see them in my itunes? What am i doing wrong? This is my first Mac computer but i do have an ipad and iphone. Im still finding my way round!

Check to see if the gifted apps are listed in Launchpad. Also, check "Purchases" in the App Store by clicking on the App Store icon on your Dock. Check inside your Applications folder.

Preview is part of the OSX system an not avaiable for single download.
Maybe downloading and installing the latest 10.5.8 Leopard ComboUpdater http://support.apple.com/kb/DL866 brings back Preview.
If not, use Pacifist http://www.charlessoft.com/ together with your OSX Leopard Install DVD to install Preview.

Hi, I have a 3gs and don't want to upgrade to os4 or os5 (I know it will be dog slow). now i cannot find many apps -- for example reinstalling fb isn't possible. where can I find safe 3GS apps?

What you want cannot be done without Jailbreaking. But why did you never update to ios 4 at least? iOS 4 runs great on the 3GS. Ios 5 is really not bad on the 3GS either. You're missing out on a HUGE amount of new features by still being on ios 3. It's your call but I would upgrade. A lot of people are still "buying" the free 3GSs with contract and those come with ios 5 and most don't have issues. I can assure you that iOS 5 on the 3GS will be nowhere as bad as ios 4 was on my 3G. iOS 4 should never have been allowed on the 3G.

My account's balance shows at the top left of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option. On my devices it shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to)

Any balance in your iTunes Store account from a gift card you've redeemed will be shown at the top of the iTunes Store screen when viewing from iTunes on your computer, or at the very bottom of the screen when using the iTunes or App Store apps on your iPhone, presuming of course you're signed into your iTunes Store account.

Where can I find the app "password Saver" by yonglin wang? while updating my iphone the app was dropped for some reason. I went to reload from my purchased apps and it is not available. You tried what ? If the app is no longer available in the store (can you find it in the main part of the store ?) for re-downloading then you would need to have a copy of it somewhere e.g. on your computer's iTunes, on a backup of your downloads.

Also it seems I cannot install Mountain Lion over 10.6.8 as advertised. When I go to purchase I get this message: "We could not complete your purchase. OS X Mountain Lion is not compatible with this computer." I think my computer can handle it (specs above) Are there any workarounds to this?

If you're getting a "This update requires Mac OS X version 10.7" message, than you have the updater and not the full installer. Go to your Purchases section of the Mac App Store and you should see the full version there. But it may be 10.7.5, though in my system is shows as being from 2011 which would appear to be the original version.
As to Mountain Lion, that's supported only on the Early 2008 Mac Pro or newer.
