The folder where your backup data are stored varies depending on the computer's operating system. Make sure the backup folder is included in your periodic data-backup routine.
iTunes places the backup files in the following places:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: To quickly access the Application Data folder, click Start, and choose Run. Type %appdata% and clickOK.
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: To quickly access the AppData folder, click Start. In the search bar, type %appdata% and press the Return key.

RachelYour question is unclear. If you're backing up to your iMac, (via iTunes, with cable or WiFi), this has nothing to do with iCloud and the backup is stored on your iMac here:

Where can I find the backups.backupdb folder?
I accidently moved my backups.backupdb folder in my Macintosh HD to another place. Now, I forgot its orginal place. Would anyone like to help me provide some info on the original place? Is it under "library" or under "systerm"?
Thank you for your kind help.If the backups.backupdb is on Macintosh HD then you are backing to the same disk drive that is storing your data. This is not a good backup plan. The usual reason to need the backup is disk drive failure. If both your data and the backup are on the same disk drive and it fails you lost everything.
You need to get an external disk drive for Time Machine to send the backups to so that in case Macintosh HD fails then you still have your backup on another disk drive.
If you search for backups,backupdb in SpotLight that should find it for you. -
When I click "about this mac" to check on my storage, I get a number of different sections music, movies, etc. but also I get a section called backups, where can I find the files in this section?

All the storage in "Backups" is taken up by local snapshots, which are made automatically in all MacBooks, MacBooks Pro and MacBooks Air with OS X Lion or newer and Time Machine turned on.

You tried what ? If the app is no longer available in the store (can you find it in the main part of the store ?) for re-downloading then you would need to have a copy of it somewhere e.g. on your computer's iTunes, on a backup of your downloads.

In the iTunes where I sync my iPod Touch where in the summary section it says "check for Update", next to it, it says "iTunes will automatically check for an update again on 7/15/08", I also hit the back up button and it tells me that 1.1.4 is the current Version, do I have to wait till the 15th for that update??

Mrs. Trisha Fosterthe update is ready on the servers but is just waiting to be pushed through to itunes. I am in australia and I contacted apple technical support, that's what they told me. Don't restore your ipod, just wait and when you connect and click on update, it will update your ipod and there will also be an icon on the home page of the itunes store. We are all waiting in anticipation.

The backup does not include any itunes content. NO apps, music,etc
You can transfer itunes purchases from iphone to computer: File>Transfer Purchases
You need to copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new computer. -

If Moible Applications is inside iTunes instead of your media folder then you should consider using File > Library > Organize Library > Rearrange files in the folder "<Media Folder>".
