Where can I find the colour range selection tool in Photoshop Elements 11?
Note: It is not under the Selection tab in the menu. This tool is very useful and Adobe help is making it very hard to find.
The Select>Color Range is only in the full versions of photoshop such as photoshop cs6.
As far as i know that's never been available in photoshop elements (from the factory sorta speak) except in version 3 using an action created in photoshop.
There are many other ways to make selections in photoshop elements.
As a side note and not really pertaining to your version of elements, years ago back in the pre os x days, there was a plugin for photoshop/photoshop le/pse 1 on macs quite similar in function to select>color range.

Where can I find the serial number for my Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 program?
I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 a couple of years ago and had it installed on my old laptop, and now I am trying to install it on my desktop computer. I cannot find the serial code anywhere on the box or DVD envelope, and I have tried entering every code on the box I could find (all invalid). It's supposed to be a 24 digit code with letters and numbers, right? I looked at my account to see if I had any products previously installed, but it says I don't for some reason. I also tried checking my email to see if I had been sent the code, but I wasn't able to find anything. I obviously had the code at some point since I was able to install the program a few years ago, so I'm not sure what happened? Can anyone help me?
Try this --
Go to the bottom of the link I gave you, and you will see
click that link and then click the chat button to talk to an Adobe agent -
Where can i find the zoom and pinch tool in New Adobe DRAW App
Hi People
Dose anyone know where i can find the zoom and pinch tool in adobe draw?
On adobe ideas it was on the tool bar with the pan icon that looks like a hand and the cross icon for the zoom.
Just wondering if Adobe put it in the new Adobe Draw program, i hope so, its hard to get detail with out the zoom tool.
Best, PhilOops Sorry Jumped the gun again! i found out how to do it. I was using my jot touch styles which mean you have to hold down the icon on the upper left with the styles then use your fingers to do the pinch and zoom gesture to make it work

Where can I find the paint bucket tool
where can I find the paint bucket tool
Which version of photoshop and operating system are you using?
Generally the Paint Bucket Tool is grouped in the same tool slot as the Gradient Tool in the tool box.
You can click and hold on the tool icons in the tool box to see the hidden tools.
(hidden tools are preset if there is a small black or white triangle to the lower right of the tool icon in the tool box) -
Where do I find the Refine Edge Command for Windows 11 elements?
Where do I find the Refine Edge command for Windows PhotoShop Elements 11
Usually if you have one of the selection tools selected and an active selection, you should see Refine Edge in the tool options at the bottom of the pse 11 editor window.
Selection tool be something like the Rectangular Marquee Tool, Quick Selection Tool, or Lasso Tool
You can also go to Select>Refine Edge if you have an active selection or layer mask targeted -

Where can I find the file where the static mapping allocations of the DHCP server are stored?
In our company we are using DHCP to assign static ip addresses to our clients.
Now we are forced to change the ip address range. To prevent changing each allocation
of mac-address to ip-address manually with the admin tool i would like to change the allocation
in the file where the allocations are saved. The reason ist that i just have to use copy & paste for all
the allocations.
So how is the file named and where can I find the file where
the static mapping allocations of the DHCP server are stored? Is it just an ASCII file?
Must i note anything when i change the file manually? From man bootpd:
BOOTP/DHCP STATIC BINDINGS
Static IP address to ethernet address bindings are stored in the /etc/bootptab file and in Open Directory. Bindings specified in the /etc/bootptab file take precedence over those in Open Directory.
See bootptab(5) for more information about the /etc/bootptab file.
For Open Directory, bootpd looks at the /Computers records for the following properties:
/etc/bootptab is a standard text file, while the records in Open Directory can be manipulated either through the command line, or via Workgroup Manager. -
I scanned an Item from my computer to my documents. The scan was completed. However, when I searched in my documents, the Item was not there.
Where can I find the item scanned? Most scanners default to Pictures folder or the Desktop.
If you select All My Files and Arrange by Date Added you should be able to find the file.
If you turn on Show Path bar and Show Status bar for your Finder Window under View in the Menu bar, when you select the file you will see the path of the file in the bottom of the Finder window. -

Where can I find the file Photoshop .exe in CS6/Windows7 ? It is not in the usual place.
Click on the Start button.
Type Photoshop into the search field.
"Adobe Photoshop CS6" will be listed, probably at the top.
Hover your mouse over the words Adobe Photoshop CS6 - the location will be displayed.
To open the folder containing Photoshop.exe , with your secondary mouse button, click on "Adobe Photoshop CS6" and select "Open file location". -
Where can I find the manual for my Mac OS?
ver. 10.7.3: 2.4 GHz core 2 Duo with 4 GB of DRAM.
I have three questions:
1. Where can I find the manual for my machine i.e. hardware manual and or consumer/connaisseur manual?
2. Does it have a zip media drive? I'm looking at the left side of the machine and I see small square shaped slot for a disk of this sort. I know this is a common type of media storage for cameras and would like to confirm that it is zip.
3. And while i'm at it, could you remind me of the uses of the two ports advancing towards the back of the computer next to the USB inputs.
PS: I'm also interested in any technical information concerning Apple hardware and if you could direct me to the appropriate forums I would appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely
ShawnI will dubb the theme of this thread: the mass storage data problem and by problem I mean how can we store data in the most cost-efficient and efficacious manor possible if we can classify data storage strategies into two groups respectively: 1) the individual stragegy and 2) the corporate stragegy. The individual, we will say, is rational and seeks to store as much data as possible in the megabyte range, the gigabyte range and the terabyte range. How will he or the corporation, of conglomerate, large, mid-size or start-up size i.e. 2 - 200 people procede. Please feel free to enhance the dialog of this post in the framework of the corporate schema vs. individual and change the estimations, exp: 2 -200, to fit a realistic scenario of what i'm trying to evoke here.
I'll start of with
MB range = 4 GB Lexar standard USB bought at Dwain Reed (note: this is just a starting point to provoke dialog and don't intend this as a suggestion)
GB range = the portable hard drive at the suggestion of Michael Black of NC
TB range = tape media, at my suggestion that older devices could be used to read the data where an external hard-drive could be used as an intermediary component to transfer data to newer devices, say the portable hard-drive of Mr. Black and an internal-hard drive which is standard in an older machine. We will say that the labor/work required to remove either is irrelevant as our time is assumed to be worthless within reasonable bounds.

Where can I find the update to fix the problem with the trackpad acting up?
My trackpad has been acting up lately, with the arrow going everywhere by itself, and not being able to control it. I googled and found that it's a common problem for the 2011 Macbook Pros, and that Apple had released an update to fix the problem. Where can I find the update on the Apple site?
If an update is available, it will appear when you select Apple menu > Software Update...
But you should also read this support article:

I installed a game,Now I need to add some files however, I cannot find where iMac stores it.. where can i find the files and maps? where does iMac store this data?
thx alot
erikDepends on game, i would look first on the game file itself, right click (or ctrl click) the game file you installed (Applications?) and select show package contents, its usually a application bundle, as in basicly a folder where the application and the required files and subfolders are.

LucHi Luc,
APEX does not create physical file that is in APEX_APPLICATION_FILES table.
It can only store the file in BLOB format in repository.
So when we upload file APEX stores file in BLOB column of APEX_APPLICATION_FILES table and then use when needed but no physical file.
