Where can I find the documentation of navBuilder object?

Hi all,
I can't found any documentation of the object navBuilder and its method such as: addChildNodeTo, getNodeById, deleteItem, etc, in Oracle UCM documentation.
So, where can I found them?
This is very important for customization. For example, I want to know the argument descriptions of method addChildNodeTo, such as:
navBuilder.addChildNodeTo('NAVTREE', 'collection', 'id==NEW_CHECK_IN', 'label=='+lc('wwNewCheckIn'));
Thanks & Regards.

Note that if you use UCM 11g, the nav builder has changed. You no longer need to override/extend includes to add stuff to Javascript
but it is now possible to use definitions (using dynamic tables to setup the menu's) like the example below:
<@dynamicdata CoreMenuItems@>
id, label, linktype, linkdata
myMenuHeader, wwMyMenuHeader, ,
myLink, wwMyLink, cgi, IdcService=GET_DOC_PAGE&Action=GetTemplatePage&Page=myTemplate&idcToken=<$idcToken$>
<@end@>
<@dynamicdata CoreMenuItemRelationships@>
<?commatable mergeKey="primaryKey" derivedColumns="primaryKey:parentId+id"?>
parentId, id, loadOrder
MENU_B, myMenuHeader, 60
myMenuHeader, myLink, 10
<@end@>Note: These definitions can be placed in the same file as your includes (dynamichtml).

Fabian

  • Where can I find the no-no list?

    As I am learning more and more about app development, it seems a lot of time can be wasted if you don't follow the rules Apple has set forth. I find post here and there about what not to do, such as using private API's, and tried searching in the Dev Center for something. As I learn I want to learn the, your app has more chance of not being rejected way, where can I find the "no-no" list Apple has?

    The obvious document would be the App Store Review Guidelines for iOS and OSX.
    iOS: https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/
    Mac (OSX): https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/mac/
    Note that iOS apps can only be distributed via the App Store while OSX apps can be distributed directly by the developer.
    Creating a non-App Store app in OSX has several advantages and disadvantages:
    The App Store handles a number of practical issues for you: like setting up a download page and processing payments. It also (supposedly) gives you access to a larger customer base and is the "default" location for getting apps that Apple pushes new users to. The App Store is also more convenient when re-downloading apps, safer and more convenient as users don't have to keep track of activation codes for purchased apps.
    You don't need to sandbox your app, this is helpful for certain apps that need to access data from other apps or needed to call other apps e.g. via AppleScript.
    You can use private APIs, although this is generally not recommended as these classes are not documented and may change/disappear between OS releases. But poking around in private APIs and other internals may sometimes be the only way to access certain information or to get certain features.
    Not being a App Store app will also mean that you can't use certain APIs - I think that iCloud is one of these.

  • Where can I find a documentation about RRX_GRID_CMD_PROCESS and RRX1 fm?

    In fm RRX_GRID_CMD_PROCESS there several parameters: where can I find a documentation (tutorial, examples, references, manuals, books or others) about it?
    And, in general, about the RRX1 funtion modules?

    Hello.  Not sure this will help you much, but figured I would give you my thoughts.  I have never seen official documentation on SAP FMs.  For me, it's been a matter of figuring what is there and how they work, as needed.
    Mainly, I would just look at the source code to get an idea of what the FM is doing.  Then also find where the FM is being called from other programs/FMs.  That would give you an idea of how other processes are utilizing the FM as well as what they are passing and how they are handling the returned data.
    Maybe others know if actual documentation, but I have never seen it and usually just figure them out as mentioned above.
    Thanks

  • Where can I find the detail document about certain method of a class?????

    Moved to correct forum by moderator
    Hi everyone,
    where can I find the detail document about certain method of a class?????
    e.g.  the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID , when I was going through the class and looking
    at the methods, sometimes the method description is just like the method name,
    and I cannot know what the method does.
      so, I am wondering  where I can find the detail information about the class???
    Edited by: Matt on Dec 4, 2008 11:55 AM

    Hi,
    Most of the times the SAP itself provides the documentaion of the CLASS. when you click on the METHOD name the METHOD DOCUMENTATION button you can see on the application tool bar.
    more over the names of the methods suggest what it is going to do.
    SET_ATTRIBUTE( sets the attribute)
    GET_ATTRIBUTE( gets the attribute value that is provided to the method)
    GET_CHILDNODE
    BIND_TABLE
    etc
    like this

    If you have permissions, u can download the package. Sometimes you may face problem with downloading business package and documentation using IE. You may then need to try with mozilla.

  • Where can I find the DCOM Connector Logon Component?

    Hello,
    I successfully installed the DCOM Connector (from CD SAP GUI for windows 6.20).
    But where can I find the Logon Component?
    As far as I understand the online documentation, this component is based on, but not included in the DCOM Connector.
    (I have used the Logon Control ocx, but need some features of the newer Logon Component.)
    <b>Yes, I know, it is outdated</b> and no longer supported by SAP, but I really need it.
    Where on CD or online can I find it?
    Thanks for any hint!

  • Where can I find the options for usetopicformat?

    Where can I find the options for usetopicformat? It appears that usetopicformat="0" (I'm formatting breadcrumb placeholders) ignores the style sheet and uses the settings in the rh-placeholder string).
    I'd like to put settings in a style sheet. But changing to usetopicformat = "1" doesn't seem to help.
    Are these "advanced" codes documented anywhere?
    The full context is: I'm using a fixed position on the screen so the breadcrumb doesn't scroll (which works) but the classes in the style sheet are ignored.
    Extract from topic:
    <div id="test" class="test" style="background-color: #ffffff; border: none; padding: 5px; position: fixed;
      width: 400px; height: 30px; top: 100px; right: 50px;">
    <?rh-placeholder type="breadcrumbs" ph-align="2" sep-char="&gt;" home="Home"
      usetopicformat="1" ph-style="font-family:Arial;font-size:10pt;font-weight: normal;font-style: normal;text-decoration: none;" ?>
    </div>
    Extract from style sheet:
    /*  Classes below should not scroll.*/
    p.test {
          position:fixed
          font-size: 8pt;
    Output is to Webhelp.
    Tom

    Hi Tom,
    As far as I have found, using the topic style prevents Robo from using it’s own styling for the breadcrumbs. But I saw that it also adds the class ‘breadcrumbs’ to the paragraph holding the breadcrumbs. So you should be able to use the following CSS selector to style the placeholder:
    p.breadcrumbs {
                    //Your styling here

  • Where can I find the accurate definitions of these terms?

    Where can I find the accurate definitions of these Coherence terms?
    Nodes
    Members
    Partitions
    Thank you

    Hi qkc (or shall I call you Frank?),
    a node is exactly the same as a member: it is a building block of a TCMP cluster, a set of Java threads running Coherence clustered services and having a member id in the TCMP cluster. Usually a JVM has only once cluster node and therefore the entire JVM is referred to as a cluster node.
    Let's for the moment define the following two terms: cache-partition and service-partition.
    A service-partition is a unit of data management in a partitioned (distributed) cache service. The ownership of the entire content of a service-partition moves always together between storage-enabled nodes (upon rebalancing the cluster), whatever happens, regardless of nodes die or join the cluster. A service-partition has a partition id between zero (included) and partition-count (excluded).
    A cache is another unit of data management, it is practically a beefed up map looking the same from the entire cluster. A cache service is a collection of several caches. Each cache belongs only to a single cache service, the one which is specified by the service-name element of the cache scheme referred to from the cache-mapping with the corresponding cache-name.
    All caches in a partitioned cache services are partitioned to partition-count parts (let's call them cache-partitions), numbered again from zero (included) and partition-count (excluded).
    All cache-partitions with the same partition id together form the service-partition. Again, ownership of these cache-partitions of the same partition-id always move together.
    You will not find the cache-partition or service-partition terms in the documentation. The documentation uses partition both for cache-partitions and for service-partitions.
    Best regards,
    Robert

  • Fire Fox sent not all the data in text form. Reached only piece of information. Where can I find the cache of sent text?

    Fire Fox sent not all the data in text form. Reached only piece of information. Where can I find the cache sent the text?
    For example, I posted an article on a news site, but found that only a small part of my article was posted.

    I'm not sure whether Firefox saved that information. There is a chance that it is in the session history file, especially if you haven't closed that tab yet. To check that:
    Open your currently active Firefox settings folder (AKA your Firefox profile folder) using
    Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
    Find all files starting with the name sessionstore and copy them to a safe working location (e.g., your documents folder). In order to read a .js file, it is useful to rename it to a .txt file. Or you could drag it to Wordpad or your favorite word processing software.
    The script will look somewhat like gibberish, but if you search for a word in your article that doesn't normally appear in web pages, you may be able to find your data.
    Any luck?
    For the future, you might want to consider this add-on, although I don't know how long it saves data after you submit a form: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lazarus-form-recovery/].
