Where can I find the file where the static mapping allocations of the DHCP server are stored?

In our company we are using DHCP to assign static ip addresses to our clients.
Now we are forced to change the ip address range. To prevent changing each allocation
of mac-address to ip-address manually with the admin tool i would like to change the allocation
in the file where the allocations are saved. The reason ist that i just have to use copy & paste for all
the allocations.
So how is the file named and where can I find the file where
the static mapping allocations of the DHCP server are stored? Is it just an ASCII file?
Must i note anything when i change the file manually?

From man bootpd:
BOOTP/DHCP STATIC BINDINGS
     Static IP address to ethernet address bindings are stored in the /etc/bootptab file and in Open Directory.  Bindings specified in the /etc/bootptab file take precedence over those in Open Directory.
     See bootptab(5) for more information about the /etc/bootptab file.
     For Open Directory, bootpd looks at the /Computers records for the following properties:
/etc/bootptab is a standard text file, while the records in Open Directory can be manipulated either through the command line, or via Workgroup Manager.

    Hi,
    Try this select to check backup history:
    Select
    r1.database_name,
    r1.name,
    (case r1.[type] when 'D' then 'Full database backup' when 'I' then 'Differential database' when 'L' then 'Transaction Log Backup' else r1.[type] end) as BackupType,
    r3.physical_device_name,
    r1.backup_start_date,
    r1.backup_finish_date,
    r1.backup_size,
    r1.compressed_backup_size,
    r2.is_compressed,
    r1.server_name,
    r1.first_lsn,
    r1.last_lsn
    from msdb.dbo.backupset r1
    inner join [msdb].[dbo].[backupmediaset] r2
    on r1.media_set_id = r2.media_set_id
    inner join [msdb].[dbo].[backupmediafamily] r3

  • Where can I find Icon files (*.ico) for using in forms

    Q) Where can I find Icon files (*.ico) for using in forms?
    Explaination: I am looking for icons for showing them in my application. Like I have an iconic button for 'Data Entry' option on Vertical Toolbar. Then one icon for Reports and Queries and so on. I need some icons which reflect the heading like for 'Data Entry', I would like a person working on a keyboard. For reports I would like to have a person reading a report or something like that.
    Can I find such icons on internet or any specific site?
    Pl. guide.
    TIA
    Tariq

    There are thousands and thousands of places on the internet to find .ICO files. Just find one with image and size you want, and use it.
    Note that if you are using web-deployed Forms, you will need to convert the .ICO file to .GIF or .JPG for runtime. The Forms Builder still uses .ICO files, though.

    Where can I FIND THE SAME CONTACT APP THAT IS ON MY LION MAC SOFTWARE AND USE IT ON MY 4TH GEN ITOUCH . I CAN NOT SEEM TO FIND THE APP TO DOLOAD IT. THX

    - If you are talking about the Contacts app that came with the iPod, that can't be deleted or hidden or redownloaded..
    - Have yu sed the Spotlight search on the iPod to try to find it?  I suspect it is on the iPod and you just can't find it.
    - You can go to Settings>General>Reet>Reset Screen Layout to help find it.
    - You can also try a reset. Nothing will be lost.
    Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • Where can I find bin files? I need something in range of 10MB to 15MB

    Where can I find Linux bin files? Especially in range of 10MB to 15MB. What software that have bin file executables available that is small enough to be 10MB or 15MB.

    I don't quite get the point: the generic location of binary files is /bin, /sbin, /usr/bin, /usr/local/bin, etc... If you want to find all executable files in your system and sort them, you can use something like
    find / -type f \( -perm -u+x -o -perm -g+x -o -perm -o+x \) -exec ls -lahd {} \; | sort -n -r -k 5
    The binaries are usually not that big: 10 to 15 MB is a huge beast IMO... What exactly are you looking for?
    Edit: Trilby came sooner BTW, my mplayer is 2.5 MB.

  • Where can i find *.alg files in 11.1.2.1

    Hi,
    I am trying to locate the *.alg files (used to be in the Essbase App folder in 9.3.3) but i cannot find them in system 11.1.2.1. Any idea where the file has been moved to or has the file extension been changed in 11.1.2.1?
    Thanks and Regards

    Have you checked what ARBORPATH actually is on your system before looking in ARBORPATH\appname\dbname? Funny that the docs have a space instead of a slash between the appname and the dbname, I assume that's an error.
    And this might sound silly but... ...have you actually done updates such that the file would have been created? I can't remember offhand, but they may only spring into existence when there's something to put in them.
    If you perform updates with SSAUDIT enabled you are supposed (per the docs) to be getting an error if the log file can't be created. Have you tried performing an update and then checking the application log (the error ought to make it to the client too, but it's possible that errors are suppressed at that level)?
    Last guess, but this is a BSO database you're using, right?

  • After file migration from PC to to Mac, where can I find my files on the Mac

    We recently purchased a MacBookPro and transferred the desktop and files including downloads from our Sony PC to the Mac.  The migration was successful, but we don't know where to look for the files on the Mac after the migration.  Please help.

    You should find a new account on the Mac. Logout of the current account and log into the new account.

  • Where can I find a document's or folder's GUID for the FLD_MOVE service?

    We are currently migrating to Webcenter Content 11.1.1.6 using FrameworkFolders. We need to integrate with several other systems to check-in and retrieve files and would like to place our content in a folder-based heirarchy. I have been using the Generic Web Service to perform integration functions.
    I am trying to use the Folders Services to get information about folders and place files into specific folders.
    First of all, if I check in a file using the "CHECKIN_NEW" service, what folder does the file go into? I can search for the file, but it doesn't seem to belong to a folder? As far as I can tell, the only way to retrieve the file is to search for it. Shouldn't it go to some folder by default?
    Second, lets say I want to move that file to a folder. The "FLD_MOVE" service seems to be what one would use to place a file into a folder. The parameter (item1) that is used to identify what you want to move can take either a GUID or a path to the file. I can't use a path since the file doesn't seem to have a path. I have tried using the dID and the dDocName as the GUID parameter, but the service always comes back and says my item does not exist.
    I can't find any other kind of unique identifier for my document. I have searched and searched for what the GUID could be and how to find out what it is. GUID seems to be specific to the Contribution Folders and Folders Service, as none of the other services reference GUID.
    What is a GUID and how can I figure out what a document's GUID is?

    Very good advice on turning on the auditing. I found a link to how to do this in another post. It seems the documentation around the services lacks the information necessary to use them, but the audit logs can reveal what parameters need to be used to perform an action.
    Turn on server-wide tracing for request audit http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/doc.1111/e10792/c03_processes.htm#CSMSP536 and then create the link from GUI (maybe DIS). You will find your answer in the Server Output.
    By turning on the audit logs and using the browser UI to place a document into a folder, I found this in the audit log (cleaned up for readability):
    IdcService=FLD_CREATE_FILE
    fFileType=owner
    fParentGUID=3BCD5A4050F2D10D9C0A0CF3CC8840C1
    dialogCounter=4
    dDocName=USTST-PFARPIM000808
    constructDidCreateLinkDialog=1
    dID=807
    idcToken=1370802991160%3A01FCE7B4B65CB3E48EDC2A1982C62526
    constructDidCreateLinkDialog=1
    IsJson=1
    Calling the web service using the parameters in bold performed the folder assignment of a document using the document's docName value (which is readily available in the GUI).
    Thanks!
