Where can I get my iPad 3 downloaded with iso 5 or 6. Where can iget it done and what does it cost?

It can be updated from any computer with an Internet connection but is best done from the computer which it normally syncs with. The update itself is free; if you have someone do it for you, you may be charged.

  • Where can I get a new hard drive for my intel imac?  **** thing dumped, less than 3 years old.

This is my first mac and the **** hard drive crashed in only 2+ years and of course the waranty is expired.  Can I replace the hard drive with any 3.5" replacement or do I need something special.  And if I do where can I get it?  I didn't see anything specifically for an intel imac at apple store.  I don't want to pay apple to install it, already spent enough money on this disappointing purchase.

any 3.5" Sata drive will do.  I recommend http://www.macsales.com/, or http://www.newegg.com/

  • Where can I get the 8i ODBC driver?

    Hello friends.
Where can I find the ODBC driver for 8i ?
I need to connect to our old 8i server from my Windows 7 box.
I can't find it on the OTN Downloads anywhere.
When I try to use my built-in Windows ODBC for Oracle, it complains that Components were not found.
And if I use the Oracle ODBC it says 'Error cannot load resource file sqlresus.dll' and another error.
    Thanks!

    Found my own answer.
I just had to add C:\oracle\ora81\bin\  to the Windows path.
And I added 'everyone' to the security on the c:\oracle\ folder.

  • Where can I get a new hard drive for an LC II (80MB)

I have a complete Macintosh LC II that saw most of the family through University (and me retraining as a dentist). The hard drive is an IBM HDD 80MB 3.5" WDS-L80 - does anyone know anyone still selling these/ can I use a substitute. Would like to keep the Mac as a feature in my office/study.

Wow, i just went to buy.com and their homepage is so messy i couldn't even find the computer stuff.
So out of curiosity, i checked eBay and 80GB SCSI hard drives are grossly overpriced. $50 is a lot even if it's new, which most are not. You might make an offer on one that's "buy it now or best offer".
But here are two possibly better sources:
    1. Check craigslist in your area for old used Macs. I suspect you can put in a SCSI hard drive up to at least 512 MB in size. (or do you want the "stock" hardware config..? )
    2. You could check state surplus in your area for old used Macs, but they're likely recycling anything that old if it comes in. You might talk to their computer person and ask if he'll save any "vintage" Macs for you if any come in.
I have an LC 475 someplace. Pretty cool little computer.  I might actually have an extra SCSI HD around too that i could part with.

  • Where can I get photosmart software that goes with scanjet G4050

I bought my scanjet when I had XP to digitize slides and it worked great.
Haven't used it in a couple of years. Now I have upgraded to windows 7 (64) and I have more slides to digitize.
The scanner is not recognized by hp or by scanvue (which I was using both a couple of years ago) even when I downloaded a new driver for windows 7.
When I plug the scanner in, the computer says it recognizes it and windows is happy with controling it, but is so limited!
I have tried unplugging power source and replugging a half hour later. I have tried all the usb ports. I have tried scanvue software but I guess this machine is not compatible any more. I have tried rebooting the computer...
I have tried uninstalling and then installing hp driver for that scanner for Windows 7.  No recognition. No software.
I cannot find my original installation disk
I cannot find the photosmart software on my computer.
    Any suggestions will be welcomed!!

Try reinstalling the full feature software again but only after you uninstall the corrupted driver/software first and ScanVue.
Install Revo Uninstaller (free edition) and run the program in Advanced Mode to find any left over files in the registry.
Clean anything Revo finds in the search.
Manually look for any folders/files left over for the HP scanner in the AppData folder (In the Windows Explorer, go to the View options and check the Show Hidden Files box to enable the AppData folder to be seen).
Go to the Programs folder and look for an HP folder for the Scanner and delete it
    Do this for VueScan also.
Now redownload and reinstall that full feature software again. Follow the prompts during the installation.
Let me know how that turns out.

  • Where can I get WLExpress 6.1 Service Pack 2 or a trial version of same?

Where can I get WebLogic Express 6.1 with Service Pack 2 or a trial version of same?

Since Adobe removes old trial versions as soon as a new version is released, you will not find anything official from Adobe
Anything else you do find is not to be trusted, since it may be a pirate, hacked version containing malware
When you talk about "old files" are you talking about PROJECT files, or movie files?
If movie files, such as an AVI, they should be universal... as long as you did not use a proprietary codec such as came with that era's capture cards (I have a Pinnacle Dv500 card that I used with Premiere 6, and until Pinnacle changed their software with a later update, the early AVI files I created would work ONLY with the Dv500)
So... which is it... project file or data file?

  • I have a broken touchscreen on my P845t-S4310. Where can I get parts?

The online source I found was the display. It didn't include the touchscreen part. Where can I get the part?

    1. Connect an external monitor. If everything else is working fine on the MacBook, you'll have full access to your computer. Or
    2. If the MacBook has a FireWire port, use Target Disk Mode (http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT1661) to mount the HDD and then copy the files to the second Mac. Or
    3. Remove the HDD, put it in a $20 USB caddy, and connect it to another Mac for file-retrieval.
By the way, this forum is devoted to vintage Classic operating systems that Apple retired over a decade ago. More people will see your posts if you put them in a forum devoted to your particular level of OS X (Leopard or above for a 2008 MacBook).

  • Where can I get the driver for my HP DE8A4L external USB CD/DVD drive?

Where can I get the driver for my HP DE8A4L external USB CD/DVD drive?
On the label it says, Model HSTNN-PD06-91
    and
    HP PN: 518819-001 Rev.B
I've had my Mini 110-1000 running our music system for a couple of years, no complaints.  When I wanted a CD/DVD drive, I purchased a DE8A4L external USB drive directly from HP.  It didn't come with a driver disc.  When I plug it in, the USB subsystem does not enable it.  Device Manager shows a yellow exclamation point, saying, "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware..."   It is running Windows XP Home Edition SP3.
    What gives with this device?

Following up on tactic 2) above, I upgraded the BIOS from version F07 to the latest version available on the HP download site, version F19.  This went well, but unfortunately the system still does not recognize the device.
When I try to Device Manager, and select the DE8A4L DVD device, and try "search for a device driver", it says it cannot find a better match for the driver already installed.
This Mini 110-1000 only came with 1 Gb RAM, and Windows XP Home.   Is one of these a critical limitation for running an external USB DVD drive?

    Hi,
Unfortunately any HP Software component (HP Toolbox, HP Scan, etc.) for this product support 32-bit envoirnment only.
As you may find by the User Guide, only  basic Print and Scan drivers provided for 64-bit (Page 14):

  • I need to use an hp 6215 printer with my mac book pro.  the driver installation disk doesn't work.  where can i get a driver that will work?  i use OS X

i need to use an hp 6215 printer with my mac book pro.  the driver installation disk doesn't work.  where can i get a driver that will work?

With the Lion it is essentially unnecessary to resort to external driver disks. What's more, most of those disks are incompatible with the OS and should not be used. The system already carries a wide variety of printer description files (aka PPDs, which is what modern printing systems use as "drivers") for a lot of brands. And there was an HP printer update just two days ago.
Just checked in mine and did indeed find that the HP OfficeJet 6200 Series, with or without Fax, is covered with the latest update.
So just go thru the motions of creating a proper printer instance:
Make sure the Mac "sees" the printer on the network.
System Preferences / Print & Scan
Click on the + button on the left column
Select the appropriate type of printer, will use IP for the rest of this
Select HP Jetdirect - Socket, default for HP network printers
Type the IP address or look it up
Name the printer for easy identification on the print dialog
Let the Mac identify the printer model or manually choose the driver
    Click Add.
Once the instance pops up in the list, can click on Options & Supplies for further config.

To transfer your current hard drive I like the applications Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper. They make a bootable copy of everything on your hard drive. http://www.bombich.com/index.html or http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/SuperDuperDescription.html
You'll need a cheap SATA external hard drive case. Put the new drive in the case then format and partition the new drive and clone your old drive to the new one. Check that it's set up right by booting up from the external drive. Then replace your old hard drive with the new one and put your old one in the external case.
