I have a late 2009 mac mini. The power supply is good for US voltage only. The new mac mini specs say they can accept 110 - 220 VAC, 50-60 Hz. Will a dedicated power supply work for playing games? i bought this system as used (excellent condition) just for Gaming Purpose (GTA V), now i am stuck with the PSU issue. I can alter the case to fit the big size GPUs, but the issue is of PSU.

Where can I get a new hard drive for my intel imac? **** thing dumped, less than 3 years old.

This is my first mac and the **** hard drive crashed in only 2+ years and of course the waranty is expired. Can I replace the hard drive with any 3.5" replacement or do I need something special. I built a new PC for use as a DAW, everything works great, it's fast and silent. Everything but the sound card, an Audigy 2 Zs Platinum. My problems is with the "Platinum" daughter card, actually a breakout box. I have somehow lost the power adapter, a four pin, Red, Black, Black, Yellow connector. It probably left with an old power supply, it's been stored for a while.
I have another four pin connector that fits, but it is not keyed for my card. I can shave the keys off, and it will fit but I don't know which pin is the red, and which is yellow. If anyone has one of these, I would appreciate hearing the pin order. Is red inboard or outboard? This is how mine looks:

Where can I get accessories and power adapter for Powerbook 180c

My father just bought me second hand a Powerbook 180c. It looks to be in great condition. But it can't be checked to make sure as the battery is dead and the power adapter was not with it. I've looked on line at various stores, Office Depot, Staples, Amazon, Buy, etc only to find that they either do not carry Apple products or the accessories and power adapters would not work. Or the prices are disgustingly high. Due to illness I cannot work and my parents are on a limited budget. Does anyone know what sites carry accessories and power adapters that will work on the 180c without breaking the bank, atleast a power adapter for now, to see if the 180c even works? Any advice appreciated.

Hi, I'm not sure that a retail store will still carry an adaptor this old unless it's a generic one.
I just checked mine, as Jan says it is 7.5V DC at 3.0A don't get the older version which was for older PowerBooks as it was only 2.0A. The part number on my 3.0A is M5652.

Where can I get a new hard drive for an LC II (80MB)

I have a complete Macintosh LC II that saw most of the family through University (and me retraining as a dentist). The hard drive is an IBM HDD 80MB 3.5" WDS-L80 - does anyone know anyone still selling these/ can I use a substitute. Would like to keep the Mac as a feature in my office/study.

Wow, i just went to buy.com and their homepage is so messy i couldn't even find the computer stuff.
So out of curiosity, i checked eBay and 80GB SCSI hard drives are grossly overpriced. $50 is a lot even if it's new, which most are not. You might make an offer on one that's "buy it now or best offer".
But here are two possibly better sources:
1. Check craigslist in your area for old used Macs. I suspect you can put in a SCSI hard drive up to at least 512 MB in size. (or do you want the "stock" hardware config..? )
2. You could check state surplus in your area for old used Macs, but they're likely recycling anything that old if it comes in. You might talk to their computer person and ask if he'll save any "vintage" Macs for you if any come in.
I have an LC 475 someplace. Pretty cool little computer. I might actually have an extra SCSI HD around too that i could part with.
