Where can I get CQ70 parts?

I was given an old Compaq Presario CQ70-120US laptop.  Works great and looks great, but the left side of the display is broken.
The plastic back display cover has broken internally, the hinge is not properly supporting the large display.
I have looked online, but can't see spending $80 for a piece of plastic.
Anyone have luck repairing this issue on the cQ70?  What are good places to get hardware?
Thank you.

Hi,
One option that you can check out is the HP Part Store. I have also included the Maintenance and Service Guide. If you for to page 28 you will see Display assembly components, this will list all the display parts and spare part numbers.
Thank you.

  • Where can i get replacement parts?

I have an Officejet 6500 that, after only about 14 months, the display on the control panel went out on.  I assume I will have to get the entire control panel.  Anyone know where I can get one?  Boy, this is my first HP product and, likely, my last.  Support is about as useless as can be, just offered me an "upgrade" at an "unbelievably low price" that was higher than what I can buy the new unit at Sam's for.....I am not a happy camper.

Although I don't think you will be able to purchase a new screen. You may be better off purchasing another unit unfortunately.

  • I have a broken touchscreen on my P845t-S4310. Where can I get parts?

The online source I found was the display. It didn't include the touchscreen part. Where can I get the part?

    1. Connect an external monitor. If everything else is working fine on the MacBook, you'll have full access to your computer. Or
    2. If the MacBook has a FireWire port, use Target Disk Mode (http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT1661) to mount the HDD and then copy the files to the second Mac. Or
    3. Remove the HDD, put it in a $20 USB caddy, and connect it to another Mac for file-retrieval.

If your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad is Broken
Apple does not fix iDevices. Instead, they exchange yours for a refurbished or new replacement depending upon the age of your device and refurbished inventories. On rare occasions when there are no longer refurbished units for your older model, they may replace it with the next newer model.
You may take your device to an Apple retailer for help or you may call Customer Service and arrange to send your device to Apple:

  • Where can I get a new keyboard for my Tecra A3 in the UK?

I spilt some water - damn! - a couple of days ago on my Tecra A3 and I think it is beyond fixing, though please correct me if I am wrong.
I haven't been cleaning it regularly and I think there was probably quite a bit of dust - and other foreign matter - under the keys and I think some dust has got, via the water, into the electronics connecting the keys to the white connecting tissue - I don't know what you call this - which links the keyboard to the rest of the machine.
Most of the keys aren't working, and some of them, whey they work, add in for free, for one tap, extra letters.
I removed the keyboard, and left it and the machine to dry and, when that didn't do the trick, dried the keyboard and surrounding parts thorougly - working delicately - and cleaned it using a tiny bit of alcohol and ear cotton wool cleaners. I also used a little air pressure producing machine to try to get rid of any dust. I think I did a fair job but It is still not working.
I think I will have to buy a new keyboard. Do you know where can I get a new keyboard A3 in the UK or a second hand keyboard that would be in perfectly good working order?
    Thanking you in advance,
    Conor Joyce

    Hi
On the Toshiba website you can search for the nearest authorized service provider. They sell all original Toshiba spare parts. Call them and ask for a new keyboard, they can order a new one for you.
Here you can search for the nearest ASP:
http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com => Support & Downloads => Find an authorized service provider
Second hands you get from eBay for example but normally keyboards are not so expensive so I would buy a new one.

  • Where can I get replacement screws for the bottom of my MacBook Pro?

I have a late 2011 13 inch MacBook Pro. I recently upgraded it from the stock 500 gigabyte 5400 RPM hard drive to a 750 gigabyte 7200 RPM Seagate Momentus XT Solid State Hybrd drive. When I was putting the screws back in the bottom case  I lost one of the small screws. Now the bottom case of my MacBook is little loose due to the missing screw. • Where can I get a downloadable copy of Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard? I have my original serial (key) number, but I lost my actual software.

Where can I get a downloadable copy of Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard? I have my original serial (key) number, but I lost my actual software. I am trying to move my Adobe to a new laptop.

Actually, you are out of luck if you are looking for Acrobat Standard. I have run into a problem because the link is for Adobe 9.0 Pro and the serial no. for Std. won't work. I asked Adobe customer (chat) service for a downloadable of the Standard and they said they don't have one. Did you get the Std. version as part of the preinstalled software on your computer? If so, it would be on the recovery media of your old laptop but I don't know how you would retrieve it from there. I am in the exact same boat as you are. Let me know if you find out how to get the media for the Standard by responding on this thread. Thanks.

  • Where can I get my serial #s

where can I get my serial #s

    Hi health_scan_imaging,
If you are a Creative Cloud Enterprise customer then you can find the Serial no on Licensing.adobe.com and if you are a Creative Cloud for Team Customer then you don't need any serial no you can activate the software using your Adobe ID and password once you are a part of the Team users.
Moreover you can login to my.adobe.com and you can find your previous registered version serial no.
I hope this answers your query.

  • Where can I get a Ibook g4 install disk

Looking to find a reinstall disk for my Ibook G4 Where can I get this or do I have to buy a os x disk?

    Hello,
Your best to buy the retails version of Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 Leopard.
If your iBook is above 800Mhz processor and the memory is above 512MB, hen Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard is what I'd be buying.
You can obtain these disks from Amazon, eBay or other online Mac parts vendors.
Be wanted, these disks can be expensive to buy.
If your looking for the original system installation disks (they are grey disks) then your best place to look is at a specialist Apple stockist or eBay.
    Best of luck.

  • Where can I get CD4047 or its match in Multisim 12?

where can I get CD4047 or its match in Multisim 12?
I am designing an INVERTER circuit in MULTISIM COMPONENT EVALUATOR 12.0 software.
but on doing so I can't find the IC (Integrated circuit) CD4047. I have tried to search CD4047 match component (can replace it) on the internet but not found?
    1. What can I do or how can I replace its Match component?
    2. In future when I design in Multisim, when I coudn't get components in the data base of MULTISIM, what solutions can you give me?
Hoping to get from your Answers
    Thank you!

    Experts,
There is the CD4538 which I believe is a similar chip (its dual - so you get 2).
    1. If you locate the CD4047 model online, or you can use 1/2 of the CD4538, you can use the Component Wizard to import a custom component into Multisim.
    2. There are various techniques to get models/parts into Multisim.   If you can find an equivalent model you can use you can create a part using the Component Wizard.   There are various SPICE modeling marco modeling techniques for creating models, but the complexity depends on the type of part and how much detail you need from the model.   The best method is to locate the SPICE model from the manufacturer and follow our Component Wizard steps to import the new model into a Multisim part (usually with the most challenging step being the symbol - spice model mapping).
